Alex’s POV
It’s dawn again and time to visit the pack to check what’s going on and how far the men has gone in building the pack. I’ve bought several more plots to widen the pack to accomodate thousands of wolves. The moon goddess should be pleased with me right now. Prady is at my door again and I will do all I can do to not to fall into her seductive trap again.
“What do you want?” I ask as I quickly wear my hoodie on her when she gets in.
“Why’d you do that?” She asks and scoffs. She shrugs anyway and continues to say what she’s come for.
“I have told David to bring her here and there are on their way back here already.” She says.
“Did he force or tease her?”
“He doesn’t force. He teases. You can say, ‘entice’, you get it now?” She says and winks her eyes.
“I can’t wait to see her here.” I say.
“You’d have to tip Dave, okay? He’s done the job and will need some cool cash.” She says.
“Prady, don’t be like this. You left here with fifty thousand dollars and can’t give him two thousand dollars out of it?”
“You’re an Alpha. Don’t beat about the bush. Declare your intention and ensure it is done. I will tip him from what I took. You simply could have said that.” She says.
“You’ve indeed got the spirit of a good leader.” I say and she feigns a wide smile on her chin.
“When she’s around the pack, contact me. I will be willing to bring her to the pack myself.” I inform.
“No. It doesn’t work that way. She’ll see you. I don’t want her to know she’s coming back to the pack. The teasing wouldn’t work anymore.” She says.
“Hold on, is it that Dave doesn’t also know he’s bringing her to the midst of a pack of wolves?” I ask.
She smirks before responding, “Dave is an hybrid. A werepire.”
“Oh,” I slowly say, “that’s fine. I get it now.”
“He’ll do the teasing but I need to bring her to the pack,” she says, “she also doesn’t recognize me. She might have seen me at a time but I’m sure she didn’t register my face.”
“It’s totally fine. Do the job. I’ll expect her to arrive here by evening latest.” I say but she smirks again.
“She should be here in an hour. I’m not sure if Dave boarded a taxi. I think he’s bringing her straight here from the woods. He’s a vampire, remember?” She says.
“That’s true. But I don’t really like vampires. As soon as he’s brought her here, let him leave on time.” I say.
“What if he’s bitten Amanda and she’s also a werepire now? Who can say?” She asks and scoffs.
“I can say, because I will test her blood. I won’t even allow the pack healer do that. I am expert in that field as well.” I say and smirk.
“Good for you. See you in an hour!” She says and leaves.
I cuddle up myself as I can’t wait to see Amanda again. She’ll be real mad at me when she later realizes I tricked her into coming back here but it isn’t totally my fault. I wasn’t even thinking about making her a stripper until Prady informed me about being aware of her location.
Nora should be aware that I am about to make her sister a stripper now. I quickly mask her scent with the pack’s, so Amanda wouldn’t be able to hear her even if she contacts her successfully. I keep waiting for an hour to tick and immediately it does, I leave the room and walk down the pack. I can see some signal in my mind link about a popping mind message. I quickly hurry back to my room as I open it and it reads: “Come get here. She’s a few minutes away from your pack. Let’s say one or two. I am waiting for you.”
“Is he waiting for me as well?” I ask.
“Sure. He wants to see you. Amanda’s eyes are bound still. Come on time before she begins to suspect us. Let’s get her in the pack.” She responds.
“I’ll be right there,” I say and disconnects from the mind link as I hurry out of my room but my wolves block my way, stating that I can’t leave my quarters at the moment.
“The pack is kinda dangerous now as we’re trying to kill the intruder. Let’s kill it before you head out.” They say but I growl at them. Still, they don’t move away. I eventually plead with them to let me go as I have an important appointment with someone. They eventually permitted me to leave but five of them followed me behind as we head straight to the direction Amanda prescribed. I pleaded with five of them to stay at a corner so I will go see Prady and others myself.
“Sure. We will be waiting.” They finally agree and I head down there. Once I sight Prady, she smiles and waves as well. I hurry down there, exchange handshakes with Dave and he also pulls me into a hug, slips a paper into my pocket and leaves. I act like though Dave is still there as I gently lead Amanda to the pack.
“Take her to my quarters. Anyone that asks who she is and why she is bound, leave them alone and don’t retailate except they try to attack you. You can just say the Alpha is aware.” I order my security wolves and they lead her inside the pack. As she steps into the pack and the gate is locked, Prady and I begin to rock ourselves, twerking our body like though a batshit crazy song is being played. We exchange handshakes and head to the pack as the deed has been done and my life is gradually becoming what I wish for.
“She’s right inside your room. Sorry, I mean in front of you. We need you right here to lead her inside your room. She’s asking if Dave has brought her to a hotel and we don’t know what to say. We don’t even know the Dave nor can we mimick his voice.” They say as I hurry down there. Prady follows me as well but I dispatch her and lead Amanda inside my room after the security wolves have been dispatched as well.
As she gets in, I lock the door, draw the curtains and remove her bounds. Sweat begins to trickle down her forehead as she looks sideways, unaware of where she is. As she looks at me, she slowly calls, “Alex? How?”
“Welcome back.” I slowly say as I pull her into a hug but she screams on top of her lungs as she declares her hate for Dave moving forward.
“Calm down. You’re in my pack, not Dominic’s! You should be happy.” I say but she remains violent.
“How come you deceived me? You could have simply told me to return here! Alex, why?!” She screams in angst.
“And you think I can convince you that way?” I ask and she sighs.
“You don’t have to convince me. I’ll come if I want to.” She says and finally sit on the floor.
“Get up. I have a reason for bringing you here.”
“Sure. Let me do it on time so I can return.”
“Return where? You’ll be here till you breathe your last. Try escaping and you will just lose your wolf, whether silver or not.” I inform and she gasps.
“Just cooperate and don’t fret?” I advise as I begin to dance in front of her. It annoys her but it entertains me.
“What’s the reason you brought me here?” She asks, her tone laced with tears.
I point to a naked lady’s picture tattooed at a man’s picture drawn on my walls. She gasps as she tries to confirm the message I am trying to convey.
“Is it…?” She asks and I nod in the affirmative, “it is.”
