Kairos grinned widely, relishing the spectacle unfolding before him. He didn’t regret taking the time to stop by Milan a while back to meet Florensia Morelli, better known as the wife of Santiago Moralez.
He had a significant mission with him at that time. He vowed to succeed in convincing Florensia. Making her believe in all the news he would deliver.
Truly, it wasn’t an easy task to meet the busy conglomerate woman. If he hadn’t dropped his mother’s name, there was no way Florensia would have agreed to meet him.
“So, you’re the son of Annastasia Judith Estelle?”
After going through various negotiations, Florensia finally agreed to make an appointment and meet Kairos. She allowed the young man to enter to convey his purpose and goals in visiting her company.
“Yes, I am Kairos. Mama also sent her regards to you.”
Kairos then presented a bucket of flowers suspected to be Florensia’s favorite flowers. Hoping the woman would soften and not hastily drive him away.
“It seems Annastasia never changes. She always likes giving flowers. As a junior, I’ve always appreciated her. Please send my regards to her. Hopefully, in the future, we can meet again.”
“Of course. I’ll gladly convey your regards.”
“So, what’s your purpose in coming to see me?”
Kairos smiled. He paused for a moment, trying to find the best words to convey to Florensia.
“Actually, I came here to discuss matters related to your husband.”
Florensia frowned.
“Are you referring to Santiago?”
Kairos nodded.
“Yes.”
“What’s wrong with Santiago? Has he done something wrong? Because if you want to propose a collaboration, I’m sure you wouldn’t force a direct meeting like this.”
Kairos smiled. Instead of answering, he took out his phone from the pocket of his jacket. Opening the gallery feature, he searched for some videos to then present and show to Florensia.
“Please take a look,” Kairos said.
Then, Florensia looked at what was presented before her. From behind the phone screen, she could see her husband appearing intimate with another woman. However, before the video finished playing, Florensia immediately returned Kairos’s phone.
“Are you trying to provoke me? I assure you, you won’t succeed. As a renowned brand designer, Santiago is always surrounded by beautiful women. Whether they are models or artists.”
Kairos smiled. He understood Florensia’s denial like this.
“No… I’m not trying to provoke you. But please, take a look at all the videos there first,” Kairos pointed to his phone lying on the table. He scrolled to the next video, then showed it to Florensia again.
“Please see what happens in this video.”
Florensia once again brought her eyes to check which video was being referred to. After a few seconds, she could see her husband in one of the resorts believed to be located in Hawaii. Her husband entered a room, then was greeted by a beautiful woman. Furthermore, Florensia was even presented with a video containing CCTV footage from inside the room. With her own eyes, she saw her husband having sex with another woman.
“Stop!” Florensia exclaimed. “There must be something wrong. Santiago must have been set up!”
“Please watch the other videos first,” Kairos requested carefully. “After this, I promise to give an explanation.”
Florensia seemed to take a deep breath. As if preparing herself, she looked back at the videos Kairos played from his phone. Florensia could see recordings of her husband’s intimacy with another woman. In various places, various hotels, and even countries.
“What is your actual purpose in coming here to reveal my husband’s infidelity?”
Kairos shook his head.
“That’s not my purpose in meeting you.”
“Then what?”
Kairos took his phone, opened the gallery feature, then showed a photo to Florensia.
“Take a look at this woman’s photo. She is Julia Estelle. The newest ambassador exclusively contracted by Santiago Moralez. If you notice, in every video, Mr. Santiago is always being intimate with the same woman, Julia. So, this woman is a model who already has a husband. She deliberately seduced Mr. Santiago to secure a position as an Exclusive Ambassador and to aim for money and luxurious gifts. That’s why she willingly seduced and served Mr. Santiago in bed.”
Florensia took a breath. Her face flushed with anger.
“Here, today, I purposely came to see you because I want to inform you of the evil plan that Julia Estelle is preparing to trap your husband.”
“What do you mean?” Florensia asked in confusion.
“Currently, Julia Estelle is pregnant. And this snake of a woman wants to use her pregnancy to trap Santiago into the trap she has already set. And of course, her goal is for her career and money. That’s why I’m telling you so you can prevent bad things from happening in the future.”
Fortunately, Florensia believed him. In fact, she was willing to cooperate. So, today, Florensia flew all the way from Italy to see for herself what was happening.
Arriving in London, Kairos informed Florensia of Santiago and Julia’s whereabouts. And now, see what Florensia does.
“You shameless woman, daring to seduce my husband?”
Florensia grabbed Julia’s hair and pulled it, causing the woman’s hair to almost fall out of her seat.
“Let go!” Julia whimpered in pain. “Darling, please, help me,” she begged, looking towards Santiago, hoping he would immediately come to her aid.
“What did you say? Darling?” Florensia laughed upon hearing Julia clearly calling Santiago “darling”.
“A wretch like you has no right to address someone else’s husband with endearments!”
“Flo… stop it. What–”
“Shut up!” Florensia glared sharply. She yelled her displeasure at Santiago. “Do you want to defend this damned wench?”
Santiago shook his head. He tried to explain.
“That’s not what I meant. It’s just that what you’re doing is causing a scene. Aren’t you ashamed to be seen by people around?”
Florensia laughed.
“Which people around are you referring to? You’re dining in the VIP lounge, Santiago. Not many people saw me teaching this damned woman a lesson. Or do you want me to drag her to a more crowded place? Do you want me to display this scandal to the media to ruin your career? Don’t forget, Santiago, you are nobody without me.”
Santiago’s face tensed. The man realized that Florensia’s threat was not just an empty threat. Santiago knew well that his wife was capable of anything.
“Flo… stop it. We can resolve this peacefully.”
“Of course. Our problems can be solved at home. But as for this damned woman, let me teach her a lesson first.”
Florensia didn’t release her grip on Julia’s hair. Taking a glass of water, she poured it directly over Julia’s head, soaking the woman’s dress and making it sticky from the spilled wine.
“This is to make you realize and stop dreaming.”
Then Florensia released her hand. She then pushed Julia to sit down.
“After this, stop seeing my husband. I assure you, you will regret it if you dare to bother us again. And don’t ever hope you can get anything from Santiago. Just so you know, all the wealth Santiago has comes from me. So, don’t get it twisted.”
Florensia prepared to leave. Moments later, Santiago seemed to chase after her. Not once did the man pay attention to Julia, who was in a very pitiful state.
“Damn it!!!”
Julia shouted loudly. While behind the partition, Edward just watched without saying a word. Intending to rise and confront Julia, Kairos still forbade him from doing anything.
Sitting back down, Edward fell silent. Until not long after, he saw Julia being escorted by a man he knew as her manager. Aaron.
“Julia, are you okay?”
“You’re asking? Can’t you see I’m currently soaking wet?”
Julia sounded continuously angry. Her frustration peaked to the extreme.
“Santiago, damn it! How could he let me be humiliated like this by his wife?”
“Calm down, Julia.” Aaron tried to persuade. “You need to calm down.”
“How can I calm down, Aaron? I’ve been humiliated thoroughly. My career is even threatened with ruin.”
“I understand how you feel. Alright, calm down first. It’s better if we go to my place. There, I’ll help calm and entertain you so you won’t keep feeling sad like this.”
After making sure both of them left the restaurant, Kairos was the first to rise. He pulled Edward to follow wherever the man went.
“Let’s go! I want to show you the final act.”
“Why don’t you just let me deal with Julia?”
Kairos sighed directly.
“Later. Bear with it. There’s still something else I want to show you.”
Reluctantly, Edward followed wherever Kairos took him. Until finally, the car they were riding in stopped at one of the luxurious apartments in the city center.
“What are we stopping here for?”
“Come on, just follow along. I promise, after this, I won’t stop you from doing anything.”
Edward nodded. After waiting for about 30 minutes, he and Kairos got out of the car. Walking in, heading towards one of the apartment units that Edward didn’t know at all.
Regardless of whose apartment unit this was, Kairos could easily enter. He pulled Edward to follow. Then they walked quietly towards the main bedroom.
Fortunately, the door wasn’t tightly closed. From behind the door crack, Edward was surprised once again. This time, his eyes caught sight of Julia being intimate with another man. Insane!
