“Are you sure you want to go back to London tonight as well?”
On the way to the airport, Kairos double-checked. He wanted to make sure whether Edward really wanted to return to London tonight after completing their entire work schedule in Switzerland.
According to the schedule that had been arranged, Kairos, Edward, and Axel were supposed to return tomorrow. But for some reason, since afternoon, Edward seemed so restless. And now suddenly decided to return tonight as well.
“Yeah. Besides, all of our work is done, right? Instead of lingering, why not just go back now?”
“We could even rest tonight, Ed. Why the rush?” Kairos debated, still curious. He wanted to know what prompted Edward to decide to return to London immediately. Normally, he wouldn’t behave like this.
“If you want to rest, you can do it when we get home later. Besides, tomorrow is already the weekend. You can rest to your heart’s content without anyone disturbing you.”
Kairos shook his head. Hearing Edward’s response, it seemed like the man’s decision couldn’t be questioned anymore.
“Don’t tell me you’re in a hurry to go back because you miss Julia?” Kairos sighed lazily. After a few seconds, he threw a scrutinizing gaze. He looked at Edward intently. His serious expression slowly turned into a teasing grin. “Or… could it be that you’ve decided to return immediately because you can’t wait to see Bella?”
Edward suddenly coughed. Keeping his composure, he lazily responded. Why did Kairos accuse him so casually?
“Why bring up Bella?”
“Well, who knows, maybe you really miss her? I’m just asking and want to make sure. If it’s not like that, you don’t need to get offended, let alone angry.”
Edward sighed. Reluctant to respond, he decided to leave as soon as the car they were both in arrived at the airport terminal.
Along the way to the departure terminal, Edward was preoccupied with what Kairos had said. Somehow, his friend’s words disturbed his mind. What if he wanted to go back immediately because he missed Bella? Oh, God. Surely not!
Fortunately, the distance from Zurich to London was not too far. Using the plane, it only took about an hour and thirty minutes to arrive.
This time, it was Kairos’s driver who picked them up. Meanwhile, Axel chose to go home by taxi.
Arriving at Edward’s residence, Kairos, who wanted to use the bathroom, chose to get out as well. Just as they entered and were about to head to the stairs, they ran into Bella wearing her pajamas. The beautiful woman had just come out of the dining room and was holding a glass of milk in her hand.
“Princess Bella,” Kairos greeted. He flashed a wide smile and a mischievous look as usual. “How lucky I am to meet an angel like you at this time of night.”
Bella looked surprised. Especially seeing Edward’s figure also in front of her.
“Mr. Kairos, Mr. Edward?”
Kairos immediately frowned. He had warned Bella several times.
“Oh my God. I’ve told you several times not to call me ‘Mr.’ or any other formal title, Bella. Why are you so stiff?”
“Sorry, Kairos.”
Kairos smiled.
“That’s better! Or if you want it easier and more familiar, you can call me sweetheart, baby, or honey.”
“Ah, come on, Kairos,” Edward protested, not liking it. His face clearly looked sour hearing Kairos’s exaggerated banter. “You said you wanted to go to the toilet. Why did you stop here?”
“Tsk.” The click was audible from Kairos’s lips. “Please be patient, Edward Cullen. I want to say hi to Bella first. Besides, I miss her because I haven’t seen her for two days.”
“Nonsense!”
Kairos burst into laughter. He clearly saw how Edward’s face turned annoyed.
“Now go to the toilet. After you’re done, leave my house immediately! It’s late.”
Kairos nodded. Instead of responding to Edward’s warning, he went on to talk to Bella again.
“Bella, I’ll excuse myself now. Tomorrow, I’ll come here to see you again. Besides, I’ve bought some special souvenirs for you.”
“Kairos!”
Before Bella could respond, Edward was heard reprimanding again. His annoyance was evident when he found Kairos back rambling on and on.
“Alright then. You’re such a grumpy man.”
When Kairos went to the toilet, it was only Bella and Edward standing together in front of the stairs. They exchanged glances for a moment, then Edward decided to address the beautiful woman first.
“It’s late. You should go back to your room and rest.”
“Okay, Sir. I’ll take my leave then.”
For some reason, after meeting Bella, Edward couldn’t deny that he suddenly felt calm. Strange indeed. But that’s what he felt.
Edward decided to follow when Bella climbed the stairs to the second floor. Clearing his throat, Edward’s feelings became uncertain as he watched Bella’s appearance from behind, wearing a thin nightgown. Suddenly, the image of him and Bella making love danced in his mind.

Why was he having such strange thoughts?
Just as they reached the front of her room, Bella turned around. The beautiful woman politely threw a smile.
“Good night, Sir. Sleep well.”
Edward nodded.
“You too.”
Then, Bella closed her door. But not completely and deliberately peeked through the crack in the door.
As far as Bella could remember, Julia hadn’t left her room all day. Instantly, she thought about what would happen if tonight Edward found out that his wife had brought another man into their room. There might be bloodshed or even a third-world war.
Due to her immense curiosity, Bella decided to continue peeking. She carefully observed how Edward intended to open the bedroom door but found it locked from the inside.
Meanwhile, Julia, who was busy wrestling and making love with Arrow, was startled when she heard a call from outside the room. Believing it was indeed Edward’s voice, she quickly pushed Arrow away from her body.
“Damn! Edward’s back,” Julia whispered in confusion. She was so worried that her husband would find out that she was bringing another man into their room.
“What should I do? This is dangerous, Julia. Edward could catch us both.”
“Shut up!” Julia looked panicked. “It’s better to quickly put on your pants. Let me think for a moment.”
“Julia… open the door.”
From the outside, Edward kept calling. Fortunately, Julia had previously used a double lock so that her bedroom door couldn’t be opened from the outside.
Julia raced against time to think fast. When she saw the window, she came up with an idea.
“Quick, get out through the window. You can leave from there without anyone knowing.”
“Through the window? Are you crazy! I could die if I jump from the second floor.”
“No!” Julia shook her head. “That won’t happen. You can check for yourself that there are several ways you can do to get downstairs.”
“But what if your security sees what I’m doing? They might think I’m a robber.”
Julia shook her head again,
Julia put on a melancholic expression as if surprised. She welcomed Edward and invited him to enter their room.
“You seem to be sleeping soundly. You didn’t even hear me knocking on the door earlier.”
Julia nodded.
“I’m sorry, Honey. I thought you were coming back tomorrow. Besides, I haven’t been feeling well all day. That’s why I decided to take some medicine and ended up falling asleep, not hearing you knocking on the door.”
“Well, it’s okay. I’m sorry for disturbing your rest too.”
Julia smiled. She decided to go up to the bed first and waited for Edward to change his clothes. After that, he drank some water and joined her to rest.
“I missed you.”
Julia immediately cuddled affectionately. She kissed and hugged Edward tightly. Since she didn’t have a chance to reach the peak of pleasure with Arrow earlier, she had to make up for it by making love with Edward tonight.
“It’s been so long since I held you like this, Darling.”
Edward didn’t respond. He didn’t feel any desire when Julia teased him.
“Julia… I’m tired,” he complained. And this immediately made Julia pout.
“But, Ed. I want it now. I want you to-”
“We can do it tomorrow,” Edward immediately cut her off. “There’s still plenty of time. It’s just not tonight. I’m really tired from working all day and then coming straight back to London.”
“But, Ed. I want it now. I want you to-”
“Julia,” Edward interrupted again. “Tomorrow is fine. I’m tired and sleepy. Didn’t you say you weren’t feeling well earlier? So, it’s better for us both to rest.”
Julia grew more frustrated. Especially when Edward turned around innocently and chose to sleep right away. Leaving Julia angry because her desires once again failed to be fulfilled.
Arrow himself, who had already jumped and successfully reached the ground, quickly put on his shirt and adjusted his pants. He walked fast to reach the gate door, then left Julia’s house area. Little did Arrow know that Kairos had been observing his movements.
Kairos, who had just come out of the main door, looked puzzled. Seeing a man suddenly jumping from the balcony shirtless, of course, made him suspicious. And his suspicion immediately pointed to Julia.
Fortunately, Kairos was smart. Instead of taking a picture, he quickly took out his phone and from a distance recorded what he saw. Kairos believed that what he was doing would be useful in the future.
