“How can that be? Although the dinner party was held at a female teacher’s house, I didn’t make contact with any female staff. Maybe I got it when I spilled tea on the couch.”

In the bathroom, Li Ze was staring at himself in the mirror. Thinking about what his wife had said earlier, his back turned cold.
If he didn’t know his wife very well, he’ll think she was joking. Her words earlier were specifically structured to determine if he had any contact with a female. It was a trick question and he almost fell for it.
If he was the one questioning his wife, his face and entire body would have been so tense, but his wife was in a different league. She is mentally prepared to deal with the situation.
Remembering he needed to send a message, he picked up his phone by the window and opened the WeChatapp. Then he searched for a photo to use as his status update. He decided to pick the one he took last month where his wife had held a red apple to her lips.
After selecting the picture, he attached a message to it; thanks for staying with me….
While updating his status, he felt awkward.
He truly loves his wife but recent occurrences have made it difficult for him to say the same of his wife. If his friends saw the status update, they would think that both of them really love each other, but deep inside of him, he knows that isn’t true. How can he still love her like before when he knows for certain that she had cheated and couldn’t find any proof?
When he finished taking his bath, he picked up the phone again and opened his WeChatapp. Four people had commented on the update.

The user name “lingering fragrance” didn’t ring a bell. He tried to remember whose username it was.
After staring at the profile picture for some time, it finally clicked. He added the author’s WeChat when he read his novel back then. The author’s name was lingering fragrance; although he didn’t finish reading the novel because the author lost his plot towards the end, he really loved the novel back then.

Seeing his wife staring out of the window, he asked, “What’s wrong?”

“You must be really bored”, Li Ze said
“You stayed longer than usual in the bathroom. I had to look for something to keep me entertained.”
She threw the binoculars on the bed.
“Honey; I think it’s the same people from yesterday, but the posture toady is different.
