Dorothy spoke in a very low voice. However, Juelz, who was standing by the corridor, miraculously heard all of it, and he heard it clearly, too.
He wanted to rush in immediately, but he was stopped by the bodyguards at the door. He was furious and said, “Dory is awake. I want to go in and see her. Get out of my way, all of you, f*ck off!”
After yelling, he held Belle in his arms and ran straight inside.
These dutiful bodyguards were afraid of harming Belle, thus they had no choice but to let Juelz enter with large strides.
The captain of the bodyguard’s face turned cold as he stared at Juelz’s furious back. He walked over to the other side, called Benjamin and told him about the overall situation.
On the other end of the line, Benjamin said that he understood and would let Mr. Scott know as soon as possible.

Juelz held Belle tightly in his arms and quickly passed through the hall of the outer room. He reached the inner room and gently pushed the half-closed door open.
A strong smell of disinfectants could be smelled throughout the ward. The crystal lights hanging on the ceiling were just right, it was not too glaring nor too dim. Juelz could see at a glance how gaunt Dorothy was lying on the hospital bed.
“Dory, did you just wake up? That’s great, you finally woke up. Thank God!”
Juelz looked at Dorothy seriously. In less than two and a half days, she had turned so skinny that her skin seemed to have lost all its moisture. Her face was pale to max. Her eyes were sunken, and her chin was extremely sharp. Veins bulged badly from her thin arm. When he looked at her, his heart was in a mess. He wanted nothing more than to take her place and endure her suffering for her.
He really wanted to throw himself at her and hold her tightly in his arms to heal every pain she felt in her body and her heart. He wanted to personally tell her that he would always be there. However, in the end, no matter how excited he was, Juelz’s eyes still turned red and he could only manage to ask in a hoarse voice, “Dory, are… are you all right?”
Dorothy slowly raised her head, her vision was a mess, it was completely vague. She tried to focus for more than ten seconds before Juelz’s face came into focus. It was filled with endless worry and his unbridled tenderness.

She had given Credence a chance, however, he did not cherish it. He did not love her as much as she thought he did. Hence, what was the point of staying by his side?
Moreover, she was afraid that if another powerful character like Melanie showed up, she might not be as lucky as she was. She might not be able to save the child in her womb or her own life.
“Mommy, do you have a serious illness? Is it the same as mine?”
Belle looked at her mother who was lying there. She looked exactly the same as her back when she was seriously ill. Her body was filled with tubes. She quickly got down from Juelz’s arms, ran towards the bed, and lowered her head to look at the IV needle in Dorothy’s right hand. She puffed up her cheeks and blew on it.
As she blew, she comforted Dorothy obediently, saying, “I know it hurts to get injections and take medication. I’ll blow all the pain away for you.”
Belle’s warm actions made Dorothy tear up. A joyful smile formed on her lips, and she lifted her right hand with all the strength she had and caressed Belle’s head gently. She smiled at her tearfully, saying, “Thank you, Belle. Mommy isn’t in pain anymore.”
Juelz took a step forward and grasped Dorothy’s hands which were on Belle’s head tightly. He held her hand firmly in his hand and looked at her face, which was as pale as snow, and he lowered his eyes. “To tell you the truth, I can’t wait to take you away right now. I’ll take you away right now!”
“However, your current physical condition is too weak, you can’t move at all. I can’t risk your health for this. How about this, I’ll ask Germaine to come to the hospital, where we will take turns to take care of you, how about that?”
In reality, he wanted nothing more than to take Dorothy away from Credence as soon as possible, the sooner the better.
He’d been by her side in Monticello for six years, and nothing had happened at all.

“Dory, stop shaking your head. If you keep shaking like this, your wound will hurt more. I’ll listen to you. I’ll take you away. I’ll take you away right now!”
After Juelz agreed to Dorothy’s request, he immediately started to take action. He took out his phone and called Sontha. He told Sontha to bring some men and medical personnel over as soon as possible.
D*mn, in this world, as long as anyone had money, then they could find their own bodyguards. Credence was not the only person in the world who could do that.
“Mommy, if we leave, then what about Daddy? He’s alone, he’s like a beggar under the bridge. He’ll be so lonely and pitiful.”
She thought of how nicely Credence had treated her, and she was slightly reluctant to leave.
Dorothy felt helpless, and she could only coax Belle with kind words. In the end, Belle nodded and agreed to leave.
Sontha arrived very quickly. Not long after, the sound of fierce yelling could be heard from the corridor outside. The muffled sounds of fists smashing into muscles could be heard over and over again, and the sounds did not stop.

The call was from the captain of the bodyguards from the hospital.
When he heard that Dorothy and Belle had left with Juelz without looking back, Credence’s heart stopped for a moment. His eyes were so deep that there weren’t any emotions in them at all.
After some time, he coldly spat out a few words from his tight lips.
“Alright, I understand.”
