Dorothy was trapped between Credence’s strong and warm chest and the sofa. There was nowhere for her to run.
As their breathing intertwined, the air around them turned flirtatious.
He playfully used the tip of his tongue to press against the sensitive parts of her chest, and Dorothy could not help but gulp and let out a low moan.
Credence gulped when he heard that, and his Adam’s apple moved up and down. He fixed his gaze on her crimson face, and his eyes darkened as he said, “Babe, do you want to moan louder?”
“Oh… what?”
Dorothy did not hear him clearly, thus she looked at him and asked him in confusion.
Under the lights, she raised her eyes and stared at him with a look that was filled with complete trust and dependence. As if she had reverted back into that gentle wife she was when they were first married, the little wife that would treat him well and take good care of him no matter how cold or violent he was.
When was the last time she had trusted him with all her heart?
Credence’s heart skipped a beat, as his thirst faded away like the low tides, leaving only indescribable tenderness in his heart.
He raised his head and slowly lifted his thin lips from her fair and tender skin. He easily turned over on the sofa and used his strong body as a mattress for her while he continued to hug her slender body tightly in his arms. He kissed her calmly on her smooth forehead, “Babe, you look like you are in a bad mood today. Can you tell me why?”
“It’s nothing, I’m just a little tired.”
Dorothy knew that her emotions were unstable, and she was so impulsive that she felt like she could explode at any moment. She did not want to talk to him in such a terrible state.
Even if she wanted to talk, she needed to wait until she had calmed herself down.
For she could only listen to his words and judge things in a reasonable way when she was calm.
“If you are tired, then lie down and rest. You can listen to me quietly.”
Credence gazed at her beautiful face. He said in a soft and low voice, “Babe, I’m really happy today, happier than I’ve ever been. Do you know why?”
Perhaps it was his voice and manner, which seemed to be both friendly and devoid of offense, Dorothy looked at his calm face and actually felt that he was a little pitiful.
He’d always been high and mighty. It was rare to see him showing such weakness. Dorothy’s heart softened, and in the end, she asked him softly, “Why?”
“Because you have agreed to my proposal!”
Credence picked her up from the sofa and took her to the balcony of the lounge. There was an elegant tea table on the balcony. He made her a cup of rose tea and a cup of green tea for himself. Under the sun, he smiled at her and said, “From now on, I won’t drink coffee anymore, I will only drink tea instead. I am getting older. I must take care of myself so that I can be with you and grow old with you.”
The autumn sunshine was warm, it was neither too cold nor too hot. When the sunlight shone on them, it made them feel warm.
Dorothy was sipping the rose tea as she squinted her eyes. She enjoyed the rare peacefulness. Suddenly, when she heard Credence say that he would accompany her until they were old, her heart suddenly tightened and she felt a warm feeling. However, she argued, “What does what you drink have anything to do with me? I can’t control you.”
“Are you still angry with me?”
The teacup in Credence’s hands paused when he heard that. He frowned at once, “Is Juelz really that important to you?”
Faced with Credence’s jealousy, Dorothy felt helpless. “Credence, I’m upset at you. Why do you keep pushing the blame to Juelz?”
He put down the teacup and clutched her slender wrist tightly with his strong hands. There was a cold look of pain in his eyes. “I proposed to you in public and gave you a diamond ring that was as big as an egg. Did I make you unhappy by doing that?”
“Credence, can you understand me? I’m not upset at your proposal. I’m upset that you chose to hide everything from me, and that I’m always the last to know.”
Dorothy gently but firmly wrested her wrist out of his grip, then heaved a sigh before continuing. “You’ve always given me everything that you think is best for me, and you think that you’re treating me well by doing that. But has it ever occurred to you that I’m your wife and that I have my own thoughts? I don’t want to be a puppet and accept everything that you throw in my way without being able to make my own decisions.”
“On the surface, you said that you would give me a big surprise, however, you have never regarded me as your equal. You have never respected me and my opinions.”
“You didn’t discuss anything with me and just went ahead with everything on your own. How is this any different from our previous marriage?”
When it came to relationships, she wanted nothing more than equality.
At this moment, she felt like she was just Credence’s pet, that she was something that belonged to him.
“Dorothy, I’m sorry, and I apologise! This is the first time I’ve ever thought of sucking up to someone in my thirty plus years of living. I shouldn’t have kept you in the dark about the proposal!”
“I don’t have any other intentions, I just wanted to give you a big surprise. I wanted to make you happy. I want you to feel delighted to be my wife!”
“I am sorry, my methods may have been wrong this time, but I am working hard to make up for everything I have done to you.”
“I have never taken the initiative to pursue any woman before. Thus, babe, give me a chance, let me pursue you, let’s start over, alright?”
He wanted to pursue her all over again?
Dorothy’s clear eyes flashed, and her face burned. Her breathing sped up, and her heart raced. Her blood boiled, and her body trembled…
All the sweet talk in the world was nothing compared to Credence’s truthful words.
However, he was still not satisfied despite intoxicating her so badly. He suddenly stood up from his seat, walked around the tea table, and leaned over to her. As she stared at him in a stunned way, he placed his slender fingers on her red lips, smiled at her and said, “Dorothy, we have already gotten married again. You are now my legal wife. I only want you as my wife, and I will only get hard when I see you!”
“Besides, you gave birth to my child, and you are now pregnant with my second child. We will be entangled with each other for the rest of our lives, do you understand?”
After he said that, Credence narrowed his eyes, and his gaze accurately swept past the beautiful arc that was visible through her slightly opened collar. His desire grew stronger and stronger.
Dorothy’s heart thumped wildly upon hearing his sweet nothings. She closed her eyes and asked with the last trace of reasoning she had, “Credence, if I am not the only woman who can make you hard, would you still keep me by your side as your wife?”
“Credence, are you only treating me well right now to make up for all the harm you caused me in the past, or because you love me?”
A dim light flashed in the man’s eyes. Just as he was about to give Dorothy a reassuring answer, his phone rang.
Credence took his phone out and answered the call. Jonathan’s enraged voice immediately rang out and he shouted, “F*ck, Credence! Dorothy’s gotten into trouble! Quick, go check out the headlines, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck! That cheap, shameless b*tch is going to make me die of exasperation!”
