The message was one that almost made Dorothy’s eyes pop out of her sockets.
The message in red read, “Sister, are you satisfied with my photography skills? If you don’t want these videos to be circulating in the public, then you must do everything I say. Otherwise, I will make Germaine and your precious daughter lose their reputations. They will be ruined forever!”
Apart from Rosalie, who else would refer to her as her sister?
At that moment, Dorothy began to fume. She did not hesitate to reply to the email.
“Rosalie, just tell me, what on earth do you want?” She wrote back.
After sending the message, Dorothy stared at the phone with her head down for a long time. She knew that Rosalie must have already read the message, but she did not reply at all, as if she was playing dead.
Dorothy felt irritated and anxious. This woman did not have a good bone in her body at all. She could not fathom what terrible things were on that evil woman’s mind.
When Credence finally returned to the room, he was met with Dorothy’s livid face. He was only gone for a short while, what could possibly make her so angry?
He slowly walked up to her and asked softly, “What is it?”
“Look at this, Rosalie is making trouble again,” Dorothy opened up the unsightly video on her phone and showed it to Credence as she began to rant, “That woman has really gone too far. She wants to use Germaine and Belle to blackmail me into doing everything she wants obediently. Back then, even though she liked to seduce you and frame me for stuff, I always thought that deep down, she still had some kindness left in her. Looking at it now, she really is just rotten to the core!”
As she ranted, Dorothy began to take out her anger on Credence as well. She raised her head and glared menacingly at him as she continued, “Also, Credence, I can’t believe you let such an evil woman stay by your side for so many years. How did you never notice her true nature? It seems that something is wrong with you as well!”
The two of them looked at each other. Facing the irritated woman, especially when her big round eyes were filled with disdain, he was filled with indescribably mixed emotions.
If he could, he wished that he could travel back in time back to their marriage and give his old self who hadn’t cherished Dorothy a good beating.
Credence thought that the safest thing for him to do now is to change the topic as soon as possible. He narrowed his eyes and sharpened his gaze as he promised fervently, “Since Rosalie is bold enough to send something like that to you, it must mean that she is not afraid of the consequences anymore. Don’t worry, I will get someone to find out where she is. I’ll make sure she never lives to see the light of day ever again.”
If he continued to let her live, he knew that she would become a huge problem for him and Dorothy in the future.
Dorothy nodded, she absolutely agreed with Credence.
Rosalie was one of the most vicious women in the world and was always hatching up schemes to ruin lives. Dorothy agreed that a person like that really shouldn’t be allowed to continue to live.
A spear in the open was easy to avoid, but an arrow in the dark was difficult to dodge.
Dorothy thought that as long as Rosalie was still hiding and watching her every move, it was very likely that the woman might attack her at any moment. She could not help but shiver at the thought.
Dorothy pinched herself and soon enough, she calmed down. “Rosalie’s target probably isn’t just me. She’s targeting Germaine and Belle as well! I can’t just sit around and wait for our impending doom like this. I’ll have to call Germaine and warn her to be more careful these few days.”
…
When she received Dorothy’s call, Germaine sat in a hermetic tea room leisurely having a “friendly” chat with Jeremy’s mother, Ysabelle.
However, the way these women communicated was a little strange. At that moment, Germaine had the higher ground, while Ysabelle was in a sorry state.
Ysabelle sat on the sofa with her hands tied behind her back. The rope that tied her was thicker than a thumb. Her face was already scrunched up in discomfort and there were ten fingermarks imprinted on both sides of her cheeks.
At this moment, her elegance had been long gone and her true colours showed. A hint of malice flashed across her face as she yelled, “Germaine, you shameless little b*tch! How dare you treat me like this! Good, good for you!”
“With your stinking reputation and the fact that you just slapped me, do you really think I’ll let you get married to Jeremy and take you in as my daughter-in-law? Keep dreaming!”
“I would rather accept a woman who has slept with a thousand men than you into my Chilton family!”
Ysabelle shouted angrily, going insane from rage.
Back in the bar, after Juelz had knocked down all her bodyguards, Germaine took the chance to drag her here, tied her up with ropes, and showed the older woman no mercy at all.
Without the ability to resist, Ysabelle forcibly received two hard slaps from the little b*tch and she could instantly taste blood in her mouth, even some of her teeth had loosened.
If she were to take a few more slaps, she felt that every tooth in her mouth could be knocked out of her mouth.
This was especially true after she felt the burning sting on her cheeks. She was sure that her face must look disfigured and swollen beyond recognition at that moment. The hate Ysabelle harbored for Germaine grew stronger and stronger. She cursed in her heart that the b*tch would be hit by a car the moment she walked out the door.
“You’re wishing for my death, aren’t you? When I was four years old, you hooked up with my uncle and had your fun. You even constantly humiliated my aunt with foul language and angered her to death. Have you ever felt guilty doing all that? After you married into the Sherman family, you used all kinds of means to cripple my uncle and made him spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. Does your conscience even exist?”
Germaine saw Ysabelle’s eyes grow dark with hatred and raised her eyebrows with joy. She sneered coldly, “Don’t try to threaten me with Jeremy anymore. Let me tell you, from now on, I have completely lost all interest in him. You can try to find him as many sl*ts as you want. I don’t care anymore.”
Her body had already been violated beyond belief. What could she use to love Jeremy?
However, Germaine did not tell Ysabelle that. She did not want the woman to use this information against her to attack and embarrass her.
“Germaine, if you’re so determined, then you’d better not think about Jeremy for the rest of your life,” Ysabelle was on the verge of exploding, her face filled with gloominess. She huffed and said, “You’ve already hit and cursed me. When are you going to let me go?”
“I will let you go once I’m done playing with you.”
Germaine narrowed her eyes when she heard her phone ring. She took the phone out of her bag and glanced at it. Seeing that it was Dorothy, she walked out to answer the phone.
Just when she finished talking on the phone, she reached the door of the room at the same time. She turned her head around and gave Ysabelle a contemptuous smile. After that, she slammed the door shut, leaving Ysabelle to scream and yell into an empty room.
When Germaine reached the front desk on the first floor, she threw a stack of money on the counter and told the receptionist to go deal with Ysabelle after half an hour. After that, she strode out of the place arrogantly, got into her fiery red luxury car and drove away without looking back.
…
Thirty minutes later.
After enduring a long while, a waiter finally entered the room and untied the ropes around Ysabelle, allowing her to finally regain her freedom.
The first thing she did was raise her arms and gave the waiter, who had seen her in such a state of distress a few slaps. She gnashed her teeth and threatened, “Remember, you must keep this whole thing a secret. Do not mention it to anyone! Otherwise, I will make you disappear, along with this restaurant!”
After venting out her anger at the waiter, Ysabelle’s mood finally got better. She made a call and ordered the bodyguards to drive her home.
After returning to the villa, she saw Yezoo come towards her in his wheelchair. She raised her hand to touch her swollen face, suddenly self-conscious. She was filled with rage as spat, “Your little niece made a fool out of me! I’m in a bad mood now. Leave me alone!”
Yezoo’s smile froze on his face, and he said with a heavy sigh, “Ysabelle, Germaine is a girl who lost her parents since she was young. I know her temperament. Although she is a little impulsive, she is filial and faithful to those close to her. She knows the difference between right and wrong. How could she do anything bad to you? I have given you everything you wanted and satisfied you to the best of my abilities all these years. What else do you want from me?”
“That’s right. You have given me everything you have. I am not dissatisfied with anything at all.”
Ysabelle replied coldly before walking up to the second floor. She walked to her study and locked the door. Then, she took out a phone to call an all-too-familiar number and said coldly, “It’s me. Help me find out who this woman is. If she is just from an ordinary civilian’s family, then send someone to kill her. It’s best if you can do it without causing a stir. I don’t want to cause trouble.”
On the other side, the voice of a slightly older man came. He had agreed to her request but did not hang up. He began to speak softly to her. Intoxicated by the man’s words and charm, she replied in an extremely warm and soft tone, “Gosh, had you not failed back then and got one-upped by Yezoo, I would have been the one standing beside you this moment. Yeah, I know you’re a man who does great things. You’re getting ready to do a big one? Sure, I’ll wait for you then!”
After flirting with each other for a while, Ysabelle finally hung up and sent Dorothy’s photo over to the man. A malicious smile took over her face as she did so.
That morning when she was at the bar, Germaine would have been disabled by her bodyguards had that d*mned woman not appeared so suddenly. She would have even been able to humiliate Germaine and gave her two hard slaps of her own.
If Dorothy hadn’t suddenly appeared out of nowhere, she would not have suffered so shamefully.
Compared to her hatred for Germaine, Ysabelle found that she hated Dorothy even more.
Now that she had the man’s help, that f*cking b*tch of a woman who did not mind her own business would be doomed.
She swore that she would teach her a lesson that she would remember for the rest of her life. That d*mned Germaine too!
