Chapter 191 Pain Came Washing Over Like A Tide

Dorothy glared at Rosalie. Before Rosalie could react, Dorothy took the dagger on the tea table and held Rosalie’s shoulder tightly with one hand, and pointed the dagger at her delicate neck with the other. She sneered at the man who was striding in.
She sneered at the man who was striding in, “Credence, let me go, or the two of us will die here.”
The dagger was small, but sharp. Under the bright crystal lamp, it emitted a dazzling light.
Dorothy waited for three seconds. Without waiting for Credence’s reply, she made up her mind. She ignored Rosalie’s pale face and trembling lips, immediately piercing the dagger into her neck without hesitation.
“Ah!”
Rosalie felt so much pain that she trembled violently. She turned her head around and glared at Dorothy with hatred, so furious that she gnashed her teeth.
“This f*cking b*tch, we agreed it would just be a show,” she cursed in her heart. Who knew that she was really taking things this far.
“Just you wait,” Rosalie thought. She would definitely torture her to death in the future!
Upon seeing the bright red blood on Rosalie’s neck, Credence raised his eyes and looked at Dorothy. After that, he lit a cigarette and took a drag from it. He spat out a puff of smoke with a straight face and said coldly, “Dorothy, you’re using Rosalie to threaten me. She is the daughter of the foster parents who has raised you up. Do you still have any conscience in you?”
This man, the same man who had been indifferent and cold towards her for four years, who was blind enough to take a vicious and venomous woman like Rosalie as his lover, was actually saying that she didn’t have a conscience?
Dorothy’s gaze remained fixed on Credence’s face for a long time. Her eyes were dark, and not a trace of light could be seen within.
She was utterly, thoroughly disappointed in him!
They had agreed for this to just be a show, but faced with this man with an icy face, Dorothy suddenly felt a hard sense of indignation and hatred. She stabbed Rosalie, pulled out the dagger, and smiled fiercely at the wound where blood was oozing out.
“Credence, you are the one who forced me to do this. As long as you promise to let me go and never harm Juelz and his company, I promise that from now on, I won’t do anything to your fiancée. I won’t even let touch a single strand of her hair.”
“Are you trying to negotiate with me?”
He strode forward with his long legs, and a wintry aura emanated from his body, making her tremble. He walked towards Dorothy step-by-step, taking a deep breath of cigarette with a gloomy look in his eyes. “No one in Talco City can threaten me. Let go of Rosalie now, and I will forgive you!”
His eyes were cold and ruthless amidst the white smoke emitting from the cigarettes. His demeanor was so cold that it could make anyone’s bones shiver. “So after learning of Juelz’s discharge from the hospital, you can’t wait to leave me? Two of his broken ribs have just been reconnected, so are you sure he can satisfy you?”
“That’s enough, Credence!”
Irritated by his crude words, Dorothy was trembling all over, and her right hand, which was holding the dagger, shook as well.
She loosened her grip on the dagger yet suddenly tightened it again, constantly rubbing against the wound on Rosalie’s neck. It hurt so much that Rosalie kept screaming.
However, her heart hurt even greater.
Credence was completely ignoring her existence right in her face. He did not immediately think of a way to persuade Dorothy to put down the dagger to save her life, but instead continued to bicker with Dorothy. Every word of his was filled with jealousy over Dorothy’s feelings for Juelz.
Even when he had lost his memories, even when she had smeared Dorothy’s image in his mind, in his subconsciousness, he was still attracted to Dorothy. He was actually jealous of Dorothy and Juelz’s feelings for each other.
Why couldn’t he see the infatuation she had for him? Why didn’t he see the full amount of love she had given him?
Rosalie suppressed the impulse in her heart to stab Dorothy thousands of times. She looked at the man, who bore a gloomy and cold expression on his face. Tears welled up in her eyes, and her voice was as gentle as tranquil waters. “Credence, stop provoking Dorothy. It hurts, it really does!”
“Endure it for a little while longer. I won’t let her hurt you anymore.”
Faced with Rosalie’s pitiful expression, Credence was not in the mood to ask her why she had deliberately come to Dorothy’s side to provoke her. He gave her a comforting smile and crushed the cigarette between his fingers before throwing it into the ashtray.
From the moment he decided to make Dorothy his mistress, he had no intention of letting her go.
Even if he grew tired of her one day, he had no intentions of letting another man touch her.
This sensation was his terrible possessiveness for her, nothing to do with love.
Therefore, he planned to snatch the dagger over to save Rosalie and severely punish this disobedient woman when she was not paying attention.
Why must she be so beautiful? Why must she have a body that was completely to his taste?
After tasting the most delicious dish in the world, how was it possible for him to let her go?
Dorothy looked at how gentle he was while comforting Rosalie, and she felt a sharp pain in her chest as if her heart was being clawed at continuously. It slashed against her flesh and bones, hurting every inch of her heart.
She had loved him, yet he had exploited the love she had for him to hurt her over and over again. Every single time, the pain was stronger than a turbulent tide, sweeping over her like no tomorrow.
Starting from this night, she would cut ties with him and never look back.
Dorothy buried the pain in the deepest parts of her heart. She quickly blinked the stinging tears in her eyes away as she placed the dagger against Rosalie’s slender neck again and sneered coldly, “Credence, if you don’t want Rosalie to die in my hands, then get out of my way right now!”
Without waiting for Credence’s reply, she exerted a little of strength. Another one-inch-long wound immediately appeared on Rosalie’s neck, and blood oozed out of it. It dyed her fair skin red. Even Dorothy’s fingers, which were clenching the dagger, turned crimson.
At that moment, Rosalie hated her, but she was unable to do anything. She could only look pitifully at the man, who had no emotions on his handsome face, and shed tears. “Credence, save me, I don’t want to die. I still want to marry you in two months. I still want to bear you a few children…”
Hearing the word ‘children’, Dorothy couldn’t help but tremble, and the strength of her grip on Rosalie also weakened. The dagger moved an inch away.
The right moment had come.
Credence continued to stare at Dorothy’s actions. When he noticed that she had stopped harming Rosalie, his gaze turned sharp. Just as he was about to step forward and pull Rosalie to his side…
Unexpectedly, a sudden sound of rapid footsteps behind him arrived. Caleb and Linda ran in and squeezed past Credence to the front. When they saw Rosalie who was drenched in blood, they still couldn’t help but feel distressed although they had been mentally prepared.
Linda, in particular, screamed at the top of her voice, “Dorothy, you’ve already divorced him, but you are still refusing to let go of Credence. Shame on you!”
“Let go, let go of her now. What are you trying to do to Rosie? Credence, please save Rosie, sob… she will soon be killed by Dorothy!”
Caleb also darkened his old face and glared at her angrily. “Dorothy, six years ago, you had caused a great commotion in the Fisher family. You pushed her out of the window and almost killed her. Six years later, you still want to take her life away? What did the Fisher family do to offend you and make you hate us like this?”
She realized at once that she had been set up. Dorothy was so furious that her eyes turned bloodshot in an instant. “In your eyes, I really am just an ungrateful woman! Fine, then today, I will let you know what a ruthless person really is like!”
After that, she stabbed the dagger into Rosalie’s neck once more. Taking advantage of the chaos, she took Rosalie away and got into a car.
Inside the car, Dorothy forced Rosalie into the driver’s seat and she quickly drove the car out of the villa. They headed towards the dark night sky that was devoid of any stars and moon.
