Chapter 181 Something Even More Humiliating

Book:My Husband Hates Me Published:2024-5-1

Faced with Credence’s sudden flirtation, Dorothy was so shocked that she could not say a word.
With his face expressionless, Credence blew a cloud of white smoke in her face, gently brushing over her skin. His gaze was firmly locked on her, bearing only half amounts of iciness.
“Ahem, wh-what are you doing?”
In the past, even if Dorothy did not smash the bottle on his face, she would have avoided his attacks.
However, she had come here to apologize to him sincerely. If she accidentally angered him more, he would definitely vent all of his anger on Juelz. That was not the outcome she wanted.
She silently bit her lips and took two steps back. She carefully wanted to back away from him, but the moment she took a step, either her high heels had slipped or she had stepped on something, and she felt as if she was going to fall forward.
“Ah!”
He stretched out his strong arms and caught her.
Credence had caught her mid-air and immediately threw her on the other side of the sofa. Anger lacing his tone, he could no longer hold back his rage, “Don’t you know how to do anything apart from throwing yourself at me?”
Dorothy had already been enraged at him after being teased. However, now that she had accidentally slipped yet he said that she threw herself at him, she grew even more furious. However, she could not vent her anger. Instead, she endured his belittling, that even her face turned livid.
“Credence, don’t flatter yourself. If it weren’t for Juelz and his company’s sake, I wouldn’t even come here to see you even if you paid me.”
Why hadn’t she realized how much of a b*stard he was before?
She had indeed provoked him, but she had also apologized to him sincerely. What more did he want?
“So, you don’t want to see me?”
Credence listened to her angry words and looked into her burning eyes. His blood seemed to have turned icy cold, so cold that his heart stopped beating, turning completely numb.
He had a sensation that there had also been a woman like her a long time ago. She was also stubborn, not afraid of death, and would go against him in every aspect just for another man.
He failed to remember who that woman was or what her face looked like either. However, he knew that her expression was almost the same as Dorothy’s at that moment.
His body suddenly tensed, and he raised his cold and hostile eyes. He stared at the woman who was getting up from the sofa, even though she was trembling with fear. He let out a smile mixed with ferocity and iciness. “Dorothy, if you didn’t beg Jonathan like a dog, do you think you would have a chance to see me today?”
“Who are you calling a dog? Credence, who the f*ck are you calling a dog?”
Once again, she was insulted by this d*mned man. Dorothy was infuriated. She no longer cared about whether she should hold back her anger, whether she should apologize humbly, or take Juelz’s company into account.
In spite of everything, she grabbed whatever was by her side, such as wine bottles, wine glass, exquisite plates filled with desserts, or knives and forks shining with silver light, anything. She grabbed all of them in her hands and threw them at Credence, cursing at him. The tears that had appeared out of embarrassment slid out from the corner of her eyes.
She cried silently and asked, “Credence, how did you end up like this? Why have you turned out like this?”
He remembered everyone. He remembered Rosalie, Linda, Caleb, Jonathan, Marvin, and even his company and assets. He remembered his friends and family, but the only thing he could not remember was her. Why?
Hearing her silent sobs, Credence’s cold features froze for a moment. He stared at her with a frown, and his eyes were frigid as he sneered, “Dorothy, no matter how I have become, it’s none of your business. You are just a woman who wants to seduce me so you can reach a higher social status. What rights do you have to blame me?”
“Yes, you’re right. I am just a stranger to you. In truth, you are just a stranger to me as well.”
Dorothy looked back at him in a trance as if he had cut a hole in her heart. She was in so much pain that she did not even have the strength to get up.
She closed her eyes harshly, feeling as if she had lost the strength to support herself, her delicate body collapsing onto the icy-cold floor.
She was really cheap. He was about to marry Rosalie, so why was she still fantasizing about him?
The spot where Dorothy had fallen over was near Credence, and he could save her from falling as long as he stretched out his hands and held her in his embrace.
The elegant and refreshing scent emitted from her body smelled exactly like the mysterious woman from Talco Hotel.
There was a brief moment where Credence’s mind was sent into a trance.
He took a deep breath, but he inhaled too much of Dorothy’s scent instead, and he involuntarily thought of the soft and warm woman who had intoxicated him.
His body reacted way faster than his mind did.
Upon recognizing the familiar scent of the woman from that night, Credence almost lost his mind.
Soon, his eyes turned red. He carried the collar of Dorothy’s dress with one arm, picked her up from the floor, and threw her on the sofa again. He started to nibble at her thin and smooth face.
He was not kissing her, but instead biting her fiercely as if he had gone crazy.
He bit Dorothy’s tender lips until a sweet bloody smell emanated from them, then put his elbow against her neck and said in a cold voice, “You’re the woman from that night, aren’t you?”
If Dorothy dared to nod and admit what she did, he would snap her neck in an instant.
As he vented his anger out with cruelty, Dorothy felt no tenderness. Only pain, only endless pain awaited her.
The more painful the sensation was, the clearer Dorothy’s mind got.
She had loved him for over a decade, and they had spent four years of their lives in marriage. She knew Credence’s brutal personality especially well.
Juelz had already offended him. If he found out the truth about that night, that she was the woman who humiliated him, then only a fate worse than death awaited her.
She had loved him for so many years, yet she could never achieve what she wanted. She was no longer afraid of death.
However, if she really died, then what would Belle live?
Without her protection, without her help in giving her the umbilical cord blood, Belle might not even live past seven years old.
Dorothy quickly blinked her eyes, endless tears pouring out of them. Under his ravaging vengeance, her trembling body and voice could be heard. Her fingers were still digging into the floor, but she smiled silently.
“Credence, I don’t know what you’re talking about. You must have gotten the wrong person.”
“You’re not going to tell me the truth?”
The hand he had used to press her neck turned to clamp her chin. “Fine, then I’ll f*ck you until you tell me the truth.”
He used so much force that he almost crushed Dorothy’s jawbone. The pain was so intense that it felt like a steel knife was scraping every inch of her bone. It was unbearable, but she could only grit her teeth and bear it.
However, Dorothy did not expect an even more humiliating thing awaiting her.
When all her clothes were torn into pieces by Credence, she finally couldn’t hold back her screams, and shouted, “No, Credence, please, I beg of you, don’t do this!”
