Credence walked across the hall, all the way to the suite’s bedroom.
He reached his hand out and slowly pushed the unlatched door open. Then, he was greeted with a scene that caused his blood to boil.
Fifteen minutes had passed since he departed from the hospital. He was shocked to see Dorothy was still nestling comfortably in Juelz’s arms. Her eyes were closed, and her lips curled into a smile.
He stood rooted to the spot for a long time with no expression on his face. It was as though he was enjoying the loving scene.
However, if Jonathan or Marvin was by his side at that moment, they could easily tell that he was absolutely pissed.
The calmer Credence portrayed himself, the more furious he was inside. Most importantly, it was a sign of impending doom for someone.
“Juelz Sherman, since you wish to die, I’ll grant your wish!” he muttered under his breath.
Then, he slowly unbuttoned his shirt’s sleeves and rolled up his sleeves to his elbow.
It was like a slow motion scene in a movie.
When he was satisfied, his lips curled into a sneer. The next moment, he rushed into the bedroom at lightning speed.
Everything happened so fast.
“Who the f*ck are you?”
That was all Juelz managed to utter. He suddenly felt a strong presence on the back of his head. The next second, his neck was firmly locked by a strong arm.
Under the sudden force, he loosened his arms that were wrapped around Dorothy.
While Juelz was still in a daze, he was violently dragged off the sofa. His handsome face that he had always been proud of hit straight at the hard wall on the opposite side…
Juelz could only shout in pain. Then, he slipped from the wall and fell to the ground. His whole face was bruised and swollen.
He was lucky that other than some external injuries, he did not suffer any more pain.
Dorothy was leaning on the sofa, thinking everything was just a dream. She let out a yawn gently. With her head hanging on the armrest of the sofa, she was still in a state of half-consciousness.
Meanwhile, Juelz shook his dizzy head and rose to his feet. He glared at the man who had almost disfigured him and realized it was Credence. There was a smug look on Credence’s face as if he had caught his wife red-handed. Juelz raised his brows and laugh softly, “Credence, you don’t care about Dorothy, but I do! I guess you’ve seen it. Dorothy took the lead and kissed me just now. I’m still reveling in it now. To be honest, I like her so much that I couldn’t refuse her!”
“You’re very familiar with this feeling, aren’t you? I bet you must have experienced it with your sister-in-law, Rosalie Fisher.”
At this point, Juelz paused. He straightened his back and looked at Credence with a sneer. “There is no right or wrong in a relationship. The only thing that matters is whether you love that person or not. Am I right, mighty Mr. Scott?”
As a typical rich playboy of Talco City, Juelz hated people like Credence who was a model figure among the business elite.
During Juelz’s younger days, he had been criticized by the elders of the Sherman family for being ignorant and incompetent. They had always compared him to Credence, saying that he would be able to glorify the family’s name if he had Credence’s ability.
Over time, Credence became the person Juelz hated the most.
Credence let out a cold laugh.
Under the bright crystal light, his face outline was prominent. His eyes were ablaze with rage as he growled, “You can love whoever you want, but you are not worthy of my woman!”
At the thought of Dorothy kissing Juelz’s face, Credence wished he could cut off Juelz’s face with a knife.
However, he could not!
If he really did that, Dorothy would never forgive him for the rest of her life.
Credence knew how stubborn she could be better than anyone else.
For ten years, he showed no response to her passionate feelings. But the more she was defeated, the bolder she was. In order to get his attention, she had done many things no matter how embarrassing they were. She was determined to marry him. No one could stop her.
She showed fierce enthusiasm when she loved him. It would be the same when she hated him!
Hence, Credence figured it was not a wise move to go that far as it would only cause more damage to himself.
However, there was no way he would let Juelz off the hook easily.
Within a few seconds, a thought struck Credence. He smiled coldly and lifted his leg to kick Juelz in the shin. It was an accurate and ruthless attack.
“Crack!”
There was a deafening sound of broken bones.
Just like that, Juelz’s left leg was broken. His body tilted to one side. He was in so much pain that he wanted to curse. One could only imagine how strong Credence was.
“F*ck you, Credence! What kind of man are you to ambush me? No wonder Dory could not wait to divorce you and escape from you. You despicable, dirty jerk! Let me tell you, as long as I’m alive, my love for Dory will never die.”
Dragging his injured and limp left foot, Juelz was enraged beyond words.
D*mn it! He couldn’t believe that Credence actually broke his leg!
It would take at least three months to heal from his injury, which meant he would not be able to get close to Dorothy for a long period of time.
His intelligence and fighting skills were on a completely different level from Credence. Clenching his fists, Juelz punched the wall helplessly.
Credence retracted his legs gracefully and patted some non-existent dust off his suit. His black shirt and black trousers were spotless, and he looked like a perfect gentleman.
The commotion had woken up Dorothy from her slumber.
After sitting up straight, she was dazzled by the light. She could not help but blink and waited quietly for a moment. When she finally adapted to the bright light, she looked up and instantly realized that something was wrong.
When did Credence arrive?
Also, why was Juelz beaten up again?
“Credence, why are you here?”
As soon as she finished speaking, Dorothy felt a chill on her scalp. Credence’s hand flashed before her. The next moment, Credence dragged her into the bathroom before slamming the door shut.
He then locked the bathroom door from the inside.
The deafening sound caused Dorothy to tremble violently. When her eyes met Credence’s cold gaze, her heart couldn’t help but palpitate.
“What the hell are you doing?!”
“Doing what you wanted to do!”
He pressed Dorothy against the door and forced himself on her. Without using his hands, he managed to trap her with his strong legs. She could not move at all.
Almost at the same moment his body was pressing on her, Dorothy’s slender legs were forced open by him.
