Natasha could be seen carrying her boy child whilst Naomi carried the girl child, both were walking swiftly to the private jet that’s taking them out of Leaf City. Natasha’s heart was pounding so hard as if Jucef’s men will appear any moment from then.
Soon, she was inside the jet.
Natasha then explained everything that had been transpiring to Naomi. Soon, the jet took off. Only then did Natasha’s over beating heart stopped.
“You didn’t tell anyone where we are heading to, right?” Naomi asked.
“Only Fernando knows cause he’s the one that helped us get the jet. I hope he doesn’t snitch on us,” Natasha said.
“If he wanted to snitch, he would have done that before the plane took off. I think we’ll be fine.” Naomi encouraged.
Natasha looked at Naomi gratefully and said, “thank you so much for standing by me. If you do not come with me, there’s really nothing I can do.”
“It’s okay,” Naomi smiled and casted her gaze on the kids that were now sleeping. “I can’t wait for them to grow.”
Natasha chuckled, “same here. Looks like it will take forever.”
The two women continue to have a light conversation, eventually, both women slept off since the distance seemed far fetched. Soon, the plane landed and that was when Natasha opened her eyes.
Natasha called on Naomi gently for she was still sleeping. Naomi woke with a yawn and stretched her hands.
“We are there,” said Natasha.
Naomi nodded and carried the girl child while Natasha carried the male child. They were soon stepping out of the plane. Natasha’s eyes furrowed a little at the surrounding, “Naomi, is it just me or this place doesn’t really look like a airport.”
Naomi had also observed the environment, “this is more like an estate. With that house over there and another hut over there, I won’t say this is a airport. Also, we were supposed to be seeing crowds of people but everywhere seemed quiet.”
Natasha paused, “do you think it’s a trap?”
“I don’t know what to think but I’m beginning to get scared,” Naomi said, both women continue to walk through the large space.
“I think I should call Fernando,” Natasha was already bringing out her phone.
“There’s a man approaching,” Naomi looked to the left and said. Natasha looked towards her direction and eyes almost fell of at the sight of the person approaching.
Her heart began to beat heavily against her ribcage. It was as if her world was colliding. “No, this is not happening.” Natasha said, taking steps back instinctively. “That’s Pavel.”
“What!” Naomi exclaimed.
It dawned on both women that they had been set up. The plane had brought them right into the enemy’s den.
When Pavel got before them, he said, “oh sweet Natasha, it’s so nice to see you again.”
“You are a monster!” Natasha cursed.
Pavel frowned a little then he loosened up a few seconds later, he asked Naomi, “do I look like a monster?”
Shivering, Naomi shook her head in response.
Pavel hummed, “but why are you women this scared?”
“Please let Naomi go with her kids. She’s not involved in all of these ” Natasha said. If she was the only one in the enemy’s den, she knew she will get out, it might only take time and by time- maybe decades. But she won’t stop attempting to escape but with her kids and Naomi here, escaping will be almost impossible.
Pavel shook his head, “when Dmitry performed a DNA test on your kids, who did you think instructed the doctor to send the wrong result to Dmitry?”
Natasha remembered that the day Dmitry had forcefully performed a DNA test, the result had turned out negative. She kept wondering where the error came from, she now understood that it’s the handiwork of Pavel.
“If Dmitry knew the kids are his, he will do anything to protect them, and may protect you, the mother as well. You made a big mistake by not telling him about his babies, now, he will never find out.” Pavel said.
“Only a coward will forcefully marry a woman and keep her hostage,” Natasha said.
“A coward, you say? If that’s your definition of coward, then I say you are not intelligent.” Pavel said. “You are my guest, I must welcome you all to my father’s mansion.”
“Please come with me,” he made a polite gesture.
“You want me, right? Here I am, your plan has worked. But please send Naomi and the kids back.”
“You mean Naomi and your kids? No. Naomi will be here to take care of your kids while both of us grows to love one another. We’ll have our own babies too and I give you my word, I’ll never maltreat you,” Pavel said.
Natasha exhaled and signalled to Naomi that they should start following him. Fighting at this point is useless. This is Pavel’s territory and they are more like slaves over here. The only thing that hurts and scared her the most is that her kids may end up growing in this large prison.
When they were almost at the gate of a particular building, for there are many buildings in that large space, Natasha quickly clicked on Dmitry’s name, she was about to start typing a message that she will send to him when Pavel swiftly snatch the phone from her hand.
She reacted instinctively, trying not to let him but he was quicker and stronger.
Pavel looked at the screen of the phone and smirked, “you really believe he’ll come for you?”
“He’s a far better man than you.”
“Far better man, huh? And yet he withdrew his protection over you? You are nothing more to him than an ordinary miracle doctor. Or should I say a failed doctor since you couldn’t even cure his mother.” Pavel said.
“Your words proved you are really a gentlemen,” Natasha said sarcastically.
Pavel exhaled, “hand over your phone.” He was speaking to Naomi. Naomi looked at Natasha who in turn gave her the permission to.
“Not to worry, I’ll get you both a new phone of your choice. But I hope you understand why I’ll have to seize this from you,” Pavel said. Then he lead both women inside.
As soon as they appeared at the living room, Natasha was welcome by a very thick smell of smokes and cocaine. It’s not a surprise since Mr. Jucef deals in hard drugs. Mr. Jucef was in the living room with five other pot belly men who were seriously sniffing in drugs as though their lives depends on it.
Mr. Jucef stood at once with opens arms, “my sweet Natasha, bless heavens! My daughter in law is here.” The remaining people with Mr. Jucef also stood in welcome of Natasha.
Natasha said to Pavel, “this smell isn’t good for my kids.”
Pavel whispers to his father and he quickly spoke, “of course! Gentlemen, let’s leave the space for the new couple. They have some couple business to do.” At this, the rest of the man laughed heartily. They abandoned the remnants of drugs they were sniffing and began to walk out.
When Mr. Jucef got to the door, he said to Pavel loudly, “son, please take a very good care of Natasha.”
“Definitely.” Pavel assured and soon, in the room were only Pavel, Natasha, Naomi and the kids.
Pavel showed Naomi the room she would be staying with the kids then be brought Natasha over to a master bedroom, “this is the room we’ll both be living. If the design isn’t according to your taste, I can bring the designers over to design it according to your taste.”
“It’s really not according to my taste.” Natasha said.
“In that case, the designers will come very early tomorrow morning but for now, we must enjoy this night together.” Pavel said and went to sit on the bed.
What did he mean by ‘enjoying,’ this night together? “I’m not having sex with you.”
“I’m not a rapist, okay? If we are to have sex, it must be consentual. There are other things a couple could do to have fun,” Pavel said. “We could play games, chat , walk or just do anything that comes to the head. We could even cuddle.”
“Listen, Natasha, I just want to make you happy and I know that overtime, you will realize it.” Pavel said.
“So I can’t be alone this night?” She added, “Cause we are not even a couple yet.”
“You will be signing the marriage certificate tomorrow, and I advise you corporate.”
“Or what? You will slap and strip me naked?” Natasha asked. “that’s truly who you are. Anyways, we are not technically married yet so can you let me have the night to myself?”
After a few seconds, Pavel stood. “Okay.” Then he walked out.
Whereas, Yuri could be seen walking swiftly inside the living room where Dmitry sat.
“Sir, we’ve not received any good news from our hackers yet. They kept saying that wherever Natasha is, the people there must have ensured that the place is un-locatable.” Yuri reported.
Dmitry crossed his legs and said, “I’ve always come through for her, why didn’t she trust me on this one?”
“She definitely still sees you like outsider does. Otherwise, she should have known that there was no way you are withdrawing your protection over her. Irrespective of whether she helps your mother heal or not.” Yuri said. “We have to help her fast, sir.”
“Of course. Send spies to all neighboring cities, and I want more eyes on Crying Sun. I need news as regarding where she is in twenty four hours.”
“Got it, sir.” Yuri said. “And sir, the kids are…” Yuri wanted to reveal the fact that the kids are truly is. The result of the DNA test he secretly performed is out and he had been finding an opportunity to tell it to him. Obviously, the first result was tampered with somehow. But Dmitry wasn’t paying attention to him anymore so he doubt if he even heard what he said, so he just walked out.
