It’s An Honor

Book:Miracle Doctor And Her Hot CEO Published:2024-6-4

When it was break period, Natasha could be seen standing at the CEO’s office. She had gone to the CFO’s office but the CFO had directed her to the CEO’s office. However, the CEO wasn’t on the seat so she will have to wait.
After waiting for an hour and thirty minutes, Natasha was a little frustrated. She might spend the rest of her work hours here if she keeps waiting here. She should probably come back by the end of the day.
She then walked towards the door, as soon as she twisted the knob, Dmitry appeared.
“Sir…” She finds herself saying. Dmitry went to his desk and gestured for her to sit.
Natasha sat.
“Why did you have to forge your results?”
“I was desperate to get a job. I’ve got medical skills but no one will employ me since I do not have a certificate to prove it.”
“You committed a crime.” Dmitry said.
“I’m sorry and I hope I can be forgiven,” Natasha pleaded.
“You are fired!”
Natasha’s brow furrowed in shock. “Fired?”
“Leave this moment,” he said and didn’t bother to pay her attention anymore.
Natasha stood with a quiet heavy heart. For she lost all the money in her bank account and now she’s losing her job.
“I was robbed over five hundred thousand dollars today while trying to pay Kenji with cash.” She said.
Dmitry didn’t bother raising his head. He didn’t even say a word in response.
Natasha felt even more embarrassed, then she walked away.
As soon as Natasha was out of sight, Dmitry placed a call across to Yuri, “Natasha was robbed. Look into it.”
“Got it, sir.” Came Yuri’s response.
After Natasha was done that day, she stepped out of the building in an attempt to walk towards the Uber she had already ordered. As soon as she entered the Uber, the door to the left and the right suddenly opened up and two men came from either side.
Looking at these two men, she recognized them at once. One was Pavel while the other was her ex fiancée, Huxley.
Fear engulfed her heart, “what’s going on here?”
“Nothing sweet pea,” came Pavel’s voice. “We only need you to stay calm.”
This time, the car was already moving.
“Stop the car!” Natasha said in a loud voice to the driver but he turned deaf ears. Natasha was scared to the gut. She didn’t know how these two men met and what they wanted with her.
“Dmitry made a big mistake by not killing me. He ruthlessly killed all my family members and freezed all my family’s assets as if he’s the government.” Huxley said in rage. His jaw clenched.
“What do you people want from me?” Natasha asked.
“I need you to help me to get Titiana to a solitary place, where I can be able to kidnap her,” Huxley said. “In return, I’ll help you find your father’s whereabouts for you. I’ll also help deal with your stepsister and Stepmother.”
“Titiana is my friend, I can’t help you,” Natasha said.
“Should I rather attack your children and the nanny then?”Huxley asked.
“You won’t do such a thing,” Natasha said. “My kids and I are under Kenji’s protection.”
“Here.” Huxley said and then the car came to a halt. “I hope you will do that tonight, Natasha. I hope… For your own sake.” Then he stepped down. Although his voice was calm, one could tell he was threatening her.
Natasha watched as Huxley went into the car that had newly arrived and parked before the Uber car she was in. Natasha watched as the car drove Huxley away.
Natasha exhaled then adjusted away from Pavel so that she was no longer sitting directly beside him, “and what do you want?”
“I just came to apologize.”
“Oh really! You came to apologize with my ex fianceé?” Natasha asked.
“He came to my father for help, that was I agreed to cross you with him,” he said. “Natasha, I do not know what came upon me. I am truly sorry. For slapping you, for ripping your top up, it’s my last catching up on me. That’s who I used to be, I thought I have changed but it seems I still have that strong violent trait on the inside of me.”
“Please, forgive me.” Pavel pleaded.
“What’s your plan? To find another workplace here or to go back to Crying Sun?” Natasha asked.
“My father insists I come back and learn the business so I can take over in a few months,” he said. “My father practically ruined my life. He’s a monster.”
Natasha sighed. “I can’t forgive you and I need you to stay far away from me.”
A car suddenly drove over and parked right beside the Uber car. Natasha turned from Pavel to the car that had just arrived and watched as Kenji appeared. Kenji opened the door of the car forcefully and pulled Pavel out angrily. He punched him twice in the face then grabbed him by the neck, “how dare you kidnap her? Did I not announce she’s under my protection now? Whoever comes for her is directly seeking my wrath.” He said and headed him on the nose.
Blood immediately came running from Pavel’s face yet he did not fight back. Natasha had also stepped out. She didn’t stop Pavel at all for he was doing his job.
“If I ever see you around her again, I’ll kill you.” Kenji threatened.
Kenji turned to Natasha and said, “I’m sorry I’m late. Please come.” Kenji then helped Natasha get inside the car he just brought.
Kenji glanced angrily at bleeding Pavel one more time before walking to the driver’s seat of the car he bought then he began to drive away.
“Miss, I do not think you need to be ordering an Uber anymore. Just give me a call whenever you need to go anywhere, I’ll leave whatever I’m doing and attend to you. It’s part of my service, ma’am.” Kenji said.
“Thank you, Kenji.”
“You are welcome, ma’am.” Kenji said as he continued to drive.
Natasha couldn’t stop thinking about why Pavel didn’t fight back. Is he trying to prove he’s righteous now or what? No matter how good he presents himself to be, she will never get so close to him again.
“Please take me to Ivan’s mansion, I need you to deal with my stepmother and stepsister. Those two witches kept my father somewhere, I need you to force them to confess where they are keeping him. Use whatever means to get the truth out of them.”
“Got it, ma’am.”
In about forty three minutes, the car came to a halt before Ivan’s mansion. Soon, both Natasha and Kenji were walking towards the main door. Once they were there, Kenji didn’t bother knocking, instead, he kicked the door repeatedly until it gave way. He went and searched all the nooks and crannies of the house but there was not a single soul there.
He returned, a little beads of sweat on his forehead, “I can’t find anyone here.”
Natasha then placed a call across to Ruby and she answered immediately, as though she had been expecting her call, “Natasha, I can see you and your lover boy in the living room. You people should sit and make yourself comfortable.”
Natasha looked around the house and surprisingly saw a CCTV camera at the corner of the living room, “coward! Where are you?”
“I’m with my mother.” Answered Ruby.
“Where? And where is my father?”
“Your father is with us. We are waiting for him to take his last breath. Find us if you can.” Ruby scoffed and ended the call.
Natasha exhaled sadly, “I think they know I’m coming, they are somewhere hiding.”
“It’s not a problem. I’ll have my men secretly keep their eyes here.” Kenji said.
“Thank you,” Natasha said.
Soon, Kenji dropped Natasha at her lodge and then drove away. Natasha became even more burdened about her father’s death. Instead of walking inside, she leaned on the wall of her house instead, her heart heavy. She then began to sob quietly, she felt so overwhelmed.
After she had cried for what looked like a long time, she felt slightly better. She believes she will find her father and as for Huxley asking him to bring Titiana to a solitary place, that’s never going to happen.
When it was the following morning, after Natasha had finished dressing, she placed a call across to Kenji but it wasn’t answered. She called repeatedly but he wasn’t answering the call. Has something happened to him? Although Kenji is powerful, that doesn’t mean that he has a bulletproof body.
Then the sound of the horn of the car began to sound outside her door. Natasha stepped out, dressed in a blue silk office shirt and a black skirt that went slightly beneath her knee.
She was stunned to see who was inside the car before her house. She wished she checked herself multiple times before stepping out. It’s just that she didn’t expect that of all people, Dmitry will be here.
At Dmitry’s gesture, she got inside the car. Dmitry pressed on the accelerator and the car began to move. “Good morning.”
“Morning. Kenji had left earlier this morning to meet my grandfather.”
“Why? I already paid him.” Natasha said.
“He’ll have to refund you. There was a threat against his life here, we need him outside of this city until I figure out those threatening him. And my grandfather even needs him over there so it’s better he’s with him,” Dmitry said.
“Oh. He should have at least picked my call and explained to me. He can’t just vanish,” Natasha said.
“I believe he’ll call you back as soon as you can,” Dmitry said.
Natasha wondered who could have threatened Kenji’s life. Could it be Pavel’s family? Afterall, Kenji had hit Pavel yesterday and he didn’t do anything about it.
“Thank you so much for coming to pick me up, it’s an honor.”
“I’m not taking you to the office.” Answered Dmitry. “You entered a room you shouldn’t have entered, you are about to pay the price.”
