“Mr. Charles,  there’s no need for you bring the flower to me. As long as you can come here, I’m very happy.”
Henson faked a smile and said, “How can I do that? It’s inappropriate for me to visit you with empty hands.”
Henson pulled over a chair to sit down with crossed legs. “I just heard from the doctor that you got arrhythmia.”
“Well, yes. I always have a problem with my heart. In the afternoon, after I had a conflict with the girl named Wendy, I got this old weakness again.”
“Um. The problem with heart should be paid with more attention. And Mrs. Taylor, I suggest you get a good treatment with it soon.”
“Don’t worry, Mr. Charles, I will cure it soon…”
“No need to be so hurry. The problem in heart is a big problem, which will take up much of your future time. So I suggest you should stay here for a long time to treat your illness slowly. But given to this, you may not be able to go on your work as the principal of San Diego University anymore. But you still don’t need to worry about that I’ll find a suitable candidate for you to get the job.”
Mrs. Taylor became nervous and said hurriedly, “Mr. Charles, I…”
“About this, I’ve already discussed it with the relevant official departments. Now, you need only write an resignation letter.”
“I won’t quit my job. Why would I do that?” Mrs. Taylor shouted at Henson as she had lost her composure, “I’m all fine now. I can leave the hospital and go back to work tomorrow.”
“But the doctor has already made a diagnosis about your sick. It’s arrhythmia. I believe you won’t dare to make a fake medical report, so you should treat your illness first. You’re a patient now. How can you take care of those students with such a weak body? I have made up my mind already on this thing.”
“Mr. Charles, you can’t do this to me.”
Henson’s fake smile instantly disappeared.
“What did you say? If Mrs. Taylor thinks me in that way, then fine, and go ahead. I always keep my words. I remember I warned you last time, but obviously, you did not take my warning seriously.”
“Mr. Charles, I really say this for your own good. Wendy pestered you and made my son as her back-up at the same time. Obviously, she doesn’t take you seriously, otherwise, why couldn’t she just leave my son? Are you really like being fooled by her?”
“Back-up? Gorman is not worthy of Wendy. Also, it’s your son who has been unwilling to give up Wendy.” Henson stood up to look down at her,” You’d better hand over your resignation report to the university soon. I don’t have much patience for you.”
Mrs. Taylor firmly shook her head, “No, I won’t resign.”
As the principal of the best university, she had enjoyed so many privileges in San Diego. How could she be willing to give up that?
“Your job or the Taylor Group. You could make a choice. If you still choose your job, I will not make things difficult for you, but the Taylor Group will be the price you have to pay.”
“You…” Mrs. Taylor’s so angry that her hands were almost trembling.
Henson laughed coldly at her, “I’m doing this for your own good.  You know you are sick.”
“She just broke some skins. Mr. Charles, you won’t be so ruthless to me, right? This’s too much.”
Henson glanced at her in disdain and said with a cold tone, “What ‘Just’? Scars on a girl will make people feel heartbroken, and how dare you make wounds on her? ‘Just’ a minor thing to you. But to me, it is already unbearable. You ask for the punishment. Don’t ever bargain with me. You are not worthy of my forgiveness.”
Wendy ate some fruits, took a bath and even start to read a book in the room. Then after she had read the book for about half an hour, she heard footsteps coming up…
Wendy put the book down and got out of the bed. She then pressed her ear against the door, listening to the steps.
But suddenly the door was pushed open from the outside.
Her head was hit by the door immediately and she took two steps back and cried out for the pain.
Henson looked at Wendy who was covering her hand on her right forehead and asked, “Did I accidentally hit you just now?”
“Don’t you even knock the door before you get into other’s room?”
“Who will guess that a people may stand behind the door? So what are you doing behind the door just now?”
Her eyes blinked twice and said, “I…I am practicing handstand.”
“Ihandstand?”
“Yeah.”
“If you practice handstand by the door, then why will you hurt your right forehead?” Henson laughed wickedly, “Miss Evans, your are really bad at lying.”
“I heard the sounds from the stairs, So I stand up soon.”
“Really?”
“Why would I lie to you? No one will give me any award for that,” Wendy said calmly as she walked into the room, “I thought you would not come back early.”
Henson smirked, “How do you know I have gone out?”
“Ah… Hmm… A servant told me as she came to send the fruits to me. ”
“You must have asked her about me.”
“No, I didn’t.”
“Do you want me to ask her to confirm that?”
“How do you know I have asked her?”
“My people here will never say useless things. If you didn’t ask her, she won’t say anything.”
“She delivered a lot of fruits to me. And I thought that might for both of us. So I casually asked her about your position.”
“So, you did improve.”
“Huh?”
“You’re more concerned about me now.”
“I’ve already said that it because there’re too many fruits for me. I thought she might have forgetten your portion.”
Henson smiled, “Alright, what you say is always reasonable.”
“It’s true.”
Henson poked the center of her brows and id, “You’re really bad at lies.”
Wendy was depressed for this. But just forget it. She was more suitable to be an honest child.
Henson pulled Wendy’s arm to see, “How is it now? Is it still painful?”
“No that painful. I’m not a pretentious girl. It’s skin damage. Not a big deal.”
Henson frowned, “Then what injury do you think is a big deal?”
Wendy looked at him strangely for his sudden angry.
“In the future, you should be more attentive to yourself. In this world, only your could take care of yourself at any time.”
Wendy looked at him. “If you put it this way, I will feel I’m wrong.”
“You are. You should have loved yourself more, or you are making a mistake.”
“I love myself.” Wendy pout.
“Learn to change be better to yourself. Don’t be so hard to yourself. You were injured and have the right to make a complaint. Why are you still pretending to be strong? In front of me, you can be yourself. Remember?”
Wendy looked at Henson and clenched her fist.
Henson then took her hand in his.
Wendy lowered her eyes, feeling nervous instantly.
She was screaming at heart.
Henson, stop there, you should not go any nearer to me now. Really can’t.
Because I’m afraid, I’m really afraid I would… fall in love with you.
