Chapter 339 Open Up and Speak Your Mind

Honestly, the sight did leave Flynn in awe.
Not too long ago, Callie had also put her hand inside his shirt and it was definitely a turn-on, but it didn’t compare to Trusova’s confidence.
Scarlet was no match for Trusova either.
As Flynn felt those waves crashing against him, he couldn’t help but make comparisons.
After three minutes, Flynn withdrew his hand and angrily asked, “Do you think I’m someone who would bend over for beauty?”
“And do you like me? Are you willing to degrade yourself like this just to get my help?”
Flynn pushed away Trusova’s body and turned around with his hands behind his back, looking very righteous.
Trusova was slightly taken aback. She didn’t really have any romantic feelings towards Flynn; it was more about respect and admiration.
Flynn’s words just now made him seem even more impressive in Trusova’s eyes.
“I don’t exactly like you; it’s more of a teacher-like reverence. But today, you saved my life, and the offer I made is sincere from the bottom of my heart,” Trusova said earnestly.
“Teacher-like reverence?” Flynn raised an eyebrow and spoke seriously, “We’re around the same age, and you’re under Ms. Sharp. There’s no need to have such thoughts.”
“If there’s anything, just open up and talk about it! Consider me your friend and let’s be open and honest… um, I mean, candid. Don’t hold back.”
“Really?” Trusova couldn’t believe it and asked, “Are you saying, Mr. Clark, that you’re willing to be my friend?”
“Yes! I don’t like having a teacher-student barrier between us!” Flynn glanced at Trusova’s chest and spoke seriously, “If the Bazayev family troubles you, it’s naturally troubling Ms. Sharp, and I won’t stand by and do nothing!”
“Get some rest soon!”
“Okay! I’ll see you off.” Trusova was deeply moved upon hearing Flynn’s words and accompanied him downstairs.
Just as she was about to get into the car, Matteo called.
“Flynn, you’ve been busy these past few days. If you have time today, come over to my house. I’ve cooked some delicious dishes, let’s have a drink.”
Flynn initially wanted to refuse but was concerned about Matteo’s condition. So, he agreed and gave the address to the driver. Soon, they arrived at the Kaur residence.
“Mr. Kaur, is it a special day today? Why are you so happy?” Flynn asked with a smile.
As soon as he entered, Matteo pulled Flynn onto the sofa and asked with a beaming smile about his work, sensing something out of the ordinary.
“Madeline signed three projects today, totaling 1. 5 billion, with a profit of over 500 million. Our family is finally on the rise! How can I not be happy?” Matteo laughed heartily, his face filled with joy.
“After you joined the family, Madeline has secured four projects. Starting today, I want to see who dares to say you bring bad luck!”
“Madeline has finished signing the contracts, we’ll have dinner as soon as she returns!”
Matteo’s voice was loud as he patted Flynn’s shoulder, laughing heartily.
Paulina knew that Matteo’s words were directed at her. She couldn’t help but mutter, “Isn’t it all thanks to Mr. Fletcher’s projects? What does it have to do with Flynn?”
“If it wasn’t for this troublemaker, Mr. Fletcher would have proposed long ago! The Kaur family would have been better off without this little troublemaker!”
Flynn touched his nose and smiled, “Mr. Kaur, we’re family. You don’t have to be so polite.”
“To be honest, I had no idea about those three contracts. I only found out after Madeline finished her call and told me that Charlie and the others gave her three contracts to curry favor with me.”
As soon as he said that, Matteo paused for a moment.
Charlie and the others gave the Kaur family 1. 5 billion worth of projects to curry favor with him?
Just as Matteo was about to say a few good words for Flynn, how did he manage to take credit again?
He really can’t resist boasting!
In the kitchen, Paulina was cooking with a sour expression, nearly dropping the dish.
If she didn’t know that the big boss behind the scenes was Nathan, she would have thought Flynn was just bragging.
But now that she knew Nathan provided the three major contracts, hearing Flynn taking credit was obviously annoying.
Was he treating the Kaur family like idiots?
Thinking they didn’t know who was responsible for those three contracts?
They knew everything, and he was the only clueless one!
Paulina became increasingly angry and wished she could pour rat poison into Flynn’s food to kill him.
Of course, Paulina knew that Flynn was reckless and she didn’t dare to confront him directly, so she immediately revealed that it was Nathan’s credit.
If Flynn found out, he would surely cause trouble for Nathan, which Paulina didn’t want to see. So she had to suppress her anger.
“Flynn! You’re good in many aspects, but you still need to work on your speech. If you improve in that area, you’ll see a significant improvement overall.” Matteo nodded with a smile, trying to be tactful and consider Flynn’s emotions.
Flynn misunderstood and shook his head, saying, “Mr. Kaur, I don’t attack unless provoked. If someone acts out of line, I don’t mind using foul language to confront them!”
“I won’t change my way of speaking, and I don’t care how others perceive it!”
Having spent ten years in prison, Flynn had come to the realization that the ultimate way to deal with evildoers was through force and aggression. Nothing else worked.
Matteo was once again taken aback, unable to understand Flynn’s response. It seemed completely unrelated to what he had said.
However, Paulina sneered.
This guy definitely understood Matteo’s words but pretended not to, diverting the topic to shut Matteo up.
Fine! Today, I’ll have a good argument with you!
“Flynn, you said yesterday that the Ancient Formula Returning Heart Pill from NourishNature Pharmaceutical was made according to the ancient prescription you provided?” Paulina stood at the kitchen door and asked.
Flynn nodded, saying, “Yes, the timing of NourishNature Pharmaceuticals’ production of the Ancient Formula Returning Heart Pill matches the time you lost the ancient prescription. And the field of treatment of their Ancient Formula Returning Heart Pill is the same as the ancient prescription.”
“I suspect that the ancient prescription you lost was picked up by someone from NourishNature.”
“Suspect?” Paulina chuckled. “So, you don’t have solid evidence to prove it?”
Flynn replied, “Without seeing the samples from NourishNature, I can’t be completely certain, but I trust my intuition!”
Paulina snorted in response, disdainfully saying, “Trust your intuition? Then predict the winning numbers for tomorrow’s lottery! It’s ridiculous!”
Matteo shook his head as well and said, “Flynn, coincidences happen all the time in this world. We can’t rely solely on our subjective assumptions!”
“Otherwise, it will become a big joke.”
“The heritage of medicine in Ostrad spans thousands of years, and there are not just tens of thousands, but hundreds of thousands of ancient prescriptions. It’s inevitable that there will be cases of name duplication.”
“Just because a new medicine has the same name as yours doesn’t mean it’s produced from the same prescription!”
Flynn didn’t bother arguing with them anymore and said indifferently, “Mr. Kaur, you’re right. I understand.”
The ancient prescription was already lost, and proving who was right or wrong had no meaning anymore. He didn’t want to entangle himself in it.
Just then, Madeline walked in through the door.
“Dad, all the contracts have been signed, and I also obtained a bottle of Ancient Formula Returning Heart Pill from NourishNature.”
Seeing Flynn there, Madeline’s smile disappeared. She placed the Ancient Formula Returning Heart Pill on the table and sat down beside it.
Upon seeing this, Paulina’s eyes lit up, and she sneered, “Matteo, it seems like Flynn is still unwilling!”
“Here’s an idea: since you claim to remember the medicinal ingredients on the ancient prescription, compare them to the ingredients on the bottle to determine if it’s the same prescription.”
