Chapter 236 Endless Cheating

Book:A King Reborn in Shadows Published:2024-6-4

Braiden’s face turned dark with anger, and his eyes behind his glasses were filled with fury. He couldn’t believe that after dating him, this woman had slept with six of her ex-boyfriends and even three other men just two days ago! How desperate could she be?
Braiden never imagined that as the legitimate son of a billionaire family, he would be cheated on like this.
He felt humiliated beyond words. The damage to the Swanson family’s reputation would be severe if this got out.
Today he had lost all reputation!
The more Braiden thought about it, the angrier he became. He grabbed Virginia by her hair and started slapping her repeatedly while shouting at her in rage, “You filthy whore!”
“You lied to me about being a virgin when you’ve slept with over ten men!”
“After being with me, you still went around sleeping with other men!”
“I’ll fucking kill you! I’ll kill you!”
Virginia screamed in pain as she was beaten mercilessly. Her hair was tangled up messily as tears mixed with blood streamed down her face.
Braiden continued to hit her relentlessly while cursing loudly, “From today onwards, we have no relationship whatsoever! Return everything I gave you exactly how it is!”
“And give back the 10 million dollars I gave your father too! Otherwise I’ll destroy your entire family!”
Everyone present gasped in shock at Braiden’s crazed behavior. Virginia lay there barely conscious; unrecognizable from all the bruises on her body.
No one sympathized for Virginia; any man would go insane if they ended up with such a woman, let alone someone from such an esteemed household like Swanson’s!
This kind of wealthy family valued their reputation above all else; now they were made into laughing stocks because of some promiscuous woman who had cheated on him everywhere.
Rose couldn’t help but frown, not expecting Virginia to be so self-destructive.
The woman’s private life was in such disarray, and her character had reached such a low point, something unheard of throughout history.
Madeline was left dumbfounded.
While astonished by Virginia’s deplorable behavior, she was also curious about how Flynn managed to gather so much information, even details about hotels and dates.
There were even records of hospitalizations, highly confidential information.
Scarlet, on the other hand, wore a disgusted expression.
Virginia’s promiscuity was bad enough, but repeatedly causing trouble for Flynn, she deserved the current consequences!
Lilia stood there, dumbfounded, not expecting that her compliment to Virginia would lead to such a significant upheaval.
As an ally of Braiden, she felt extremely embarrassed.
Virginia was completely devastated. She had done everything in her power to get close to Braiden and kept it a secret, thinking she would become a wealthy socialite for life.
But today, that dream was shattered. Her reputation was bad now, and no one would want her in the future.
All of this happened because of Flynn! Virginia hated him so much but couldn’t do anything about it except glare at him fiercely and limp away from the venue.
Lilia turned to Flynn and said coldly, “Do you think what you did was ethical? Was it aimed at Virginia or Mr. Swanson?”
Virginia may have been vicious, but if Flynn hadn’t exposed these things publicly, the Swanson family’s reputation wouldn’t have been damaged either.
Now everything is beyond repair like water poured into sand. Flynn smiled and said, “I helped Mr. Swanson see someone’s true colors; how is that aimed at Mr. Swanson?”
“If someone like Virginia marries into the Swanson family, won’t she contaminate their noble bloodline?”
“Mr. Swanson should go to the hospital just in case he gets hit by something!” When Flynn mocked them with these words, Braiden looked even more embarrassed and wanted nothing more than to strangle him.
“Very well! You’ve done me such a favor; I must thank you!” Braiden gave Flynn a murderous look before turning around and announcing loudly, “Both companies’ press conferences are over now; Bone-Cleansing Pill has indeed proven better than Acebegron Clear Relief with promising prospects!”
“You can invest more money in Energence Pharmaceuticals.”
“For those investors who promised us earlier but want to back out now for Energence Pharmaceuticals instead, I won’t stop you!”
Lilia also looked coldly proud as she scanned everyone present with frosty eyes.
No one there was stupid enough not to understand its threatening implications.
The two sides were already mortal enemies; what Flynn had just done pushed things beyond repair easily!
Even if Rose surrendered herself entirely, this matter wouldn’t be easy to resolve!
Their three pharmaceutical companies almost occupied 80% of Niarak’s medical market share; they were half of Shipmeda’s market share!
Who would dare supply Energence Pharmaceuticals?
Who would dare distribute products for Energence Pharmaceuticals?
To put it bluntly, even if there were suppliers or distributors available, could Energence Pharmaceuticals withstand future crises worth trillions?
“Mr. Swanson is joking around here. Since we promised investment in the Swanson’s Group earlier on, how could we betray our trust by investing elsewhere?”
“Yes! Acebegron Clear Relief is effective and will definitely sell well once it hits the market. Only fools would regret investing in it!”
“Energence Pharmaceuticals is just a small company with weak resistance to pressure and too much risk. Why would we invest in them?”
Everyone present expressed their support for the Swanson’s Group.
Braiden gave Flynn a cold glance before turning to Rose with a playful smile.
“Ms. Sharp, your team has helped us greatly. I should promote Energence Pharmaceuticals, but they don’t seem grateful.”
Madeline couldn’t help but glance at Flynn.
Last time she had warned him at the Kaur family that Rose was struggling alone and going down a dead end path, urging him to change jobs, but he didn’t listen.
Now Flynn had been pushed to the forefront by Rose as a puppet and was getting involved in this doomed war.
After Rose failed, Cruz would have her back. Who did he have behind him?
Just as she was thinking this, there came a loud laugh from outside the exhibition hall door.
“Haha… I didn’t miss it after all! I thought everyone had left after the press conference!”
“The Wong family is willing to invest 5 billion dollars in Energence Pharmaceuticals!”
A burly middle-aged man with an imposing appearance quickly walked over followed by several men who exuded an intimidating aura.
It was Uriah himself who had just finished lecturing his incompetent son and immediately returned to the Wong’s Group headquarters where he withdrew half of their circulating capital of 10 billion dollars on paper.
He then contacted some good friends from his business circle persuading them to invest.
After these friends understood what was happening, they trusted Uriah’s judgment and decided to put some money into Energence Pharmaceuticals.
In just moments, Rose received more than 20 billion dollars in investment from the Wong family along with other families such as Lewis’, McGuire’s and Hewson’s which added up another 9 Billion dollars making total investment of over $30 billion dollars!
Braiden frowned deeply upon seeing this scene unfold before him while Uriah wore an expression full of smiles as he approached Rose.
After reeling off investments worth billions of dollars within minutes, Energence Pharmaceuticals which only days ago seemed insignificant suddenly revealed its sharp edge like snowballing bigger and bigger!
