After Roman finished speaking, Garrett shuddered. He knew the difference between the two options, but he still chose to side with Braiden in order to suppress Energence Pharmaceuticals. Now facing Roman’s sharp gaze, he was speechless.
“Mr. Price is right! Garrett has been a traditional medicine practitioner his whole life. Even if we couldn’t smell it, how could he not?”
“Is Garrett deliberately trying to discredit Energence Pharmaceuticals for the Swanson’s Group? If that’s true, then it’s really not right.”
“You see how red Garrett’s face is? It means we guessed correctly. Ah! His reputation has been loud for decades and now it collapses for a little benefit.”
Roman’s questioning voice was loud and everyone looked at Garrett together. They felt deceived and couldn’t help but feel angry.
“Mr. Price, things are not what you think,” Braiden quickly explained with a smile as things were about to be exposed.
“Garrett has recently helped improve Acebegron Clear Relief and smelled many chemical agents.”
“And because he is overworked, his sense of smell has some problems and he smelled the wrong medicine.”
Roman ignored him and looked coldly at Garrett, “Is that so?”
“My nose really does have some problems recently,” said Garrett awkwardly with a smile as he bowed to Flynn, “Mr. Clark, I’m sorry for my words earlier.”
Flynn didn’t believe him of course but didn’t bother arguing with such clowns either, “Garrett, you defamed Energence Pharmaceuticals’ Bone-Cleansing Pill; you should apologize to Ms. Sharp!”
“Oh yes yes yes! Ms. Sharp I was too arbitrary; please forgive me!” said Garrett turning around apologizing Rose.
Everyone glanced at each other obviously not believing Braiden’s explanation.
“It wasn’t easy for you to achieve what you have now; in future please think twice before drawing conclusions or else it will become a joke!” Rose said smiling sarcastically.
“You’re just kidding. My sense of smell temporarily failed me without any intention against Energence Pharmaceuticals,” said Garrett feeling annoyed by Rose’s words, forcing out an insincere smile.
“Oh hey! How could I almost forget this thing? Master, there’s something else I need to take care of so can I leave first?” Garrett had no face left staying here, so he found an excuses and said goodbye.
Roman didn’t even look at him waving his hand dismissively.
“This person has evil eyes and a hooked nose, with a wicked heart. He is definitely not a good person. How could you have such an apprentice?” Flynn shook his head slightly, believing that Garrett was not a good person.
Roman watched Garrett’s back as he left and said with a bitter smile, “You’re right. This guy has bad intentions. After studying medicine with me for two years, he secretly started researching witchcraft.”
“I found out and was furious. I kicked him out that same day.”
“I can only blame myself for misjudging people.”
“Witchcraft?” Flynn narrowed his eyes slightly.
Witch doctors were both righteous and evil; they could cure illnesses and save lives but also kill or curse people, which went against traditional medical practices.
Garrett had an ominous aura about him, suggesting that he had already been infected by the witchcraft inside of him.
Roman spoke again, “Mr. Clark, Mr. Wong and I served together in the special forces when we were young; now at this age, he’s my only surviving comrade.”
“I wanted to stay longer in Niarak but there are too many things going on in Eahta so I’ll have to ask you to take care of Mr. Wong’s matters instead.”
Flynn nodded without saying anything.
Roman smiled again before continuing, “My useless apprentice will be staying in Shipmeda for some time; he asked for your What’s App ID so he could add you as friends.”
“He also asked me to apologize on his behalf…”
Flynn waved his hand indicating Roman didn’t need to say anymore.
“Well then I’ll head back to Eahta,” Roman said tactfully before leaving with Benjamin and others from their group.
“What kind of background does this young man have? He faced Mr. Price without any fear,” one person whispered curiously.
“Who knows? It’s too mysterious! Not only does he know ancient medicinal formulas but also knows Mr. Price!”
“We shouldn’t worry about who he is though because Bone-Cleansing Pill has received certification from National Traditional Medicine Clinic which makes it more promising than Acebegron Clear Relief! Let’s discuss whether we should withdraw our investment from Swanson’s Group!”
The two men talked on stage for over ten minutes while everyone else listened intently but couldn’t hear what they were saying clearly until they snapped out of their shock after realizing how important investing was right now!
Bone-Cleansing Pill was incredibly effective, much more so than Acebegron Clear Relief, making it clear that it had great market potential!
“Not bad at all!” Braiden clapped coldly while looking towards Rose, “I’m surprised you actually possess an ancient medicinal formula!”
Rose remained calm as she replied nonchalantly, “Are you disappointed?”
“Disappointed?” Braiden was taken aback, laughing loudly. “You don’t think you can take down the three of us with just a Bone-Cleansing Pill? That’s too confident!”
“In business, the most important things are funds and connections.”
“Even if all the money invested in the Swanson’s Group earlier is now invested in Energence Pharmaceuticals, it’s only barely over 10 billion dollars. With our previous investments, you have at most 20 billion dollars in your hands.”
“But we three families have over a hundred billion dollars available for use. If we want to launch a war against Energence Pharmaceuticals, we can raise another 100 billion!”
“If we short Energence Pharmaceuticals through stocks and futures trading and then cut off your suppliers and block your channels, how long do you think Energence Pharmaceuticals can hold out?” Braiden stared at Rose with murderous intent in every word.
The bosses present all felt bone-chilling coldness from his words and hesitated.
“Yes, Ms. Sharp has conflicts with these three families but she is not someone who will bow down easily. There will inevitably be a life-and-death battle between the two sides in the future; currently speaking Ms. Sharp clearly has no chance of winning.”
“The Swanson family, the Woods family and the Hussain family are all billionaire giants; their combined power is even more terrifying! Besides they also have Layla while Ms. Sharp’s ancient formulae are useless without any room for development!”
“When encountering such powerful opponents as this, one can only say that Ms. Sharp was born at an unfortunate time.”
Just as everyone started thinking about investing in Energence Pharmaceuticals, they were doused by Braiden’s cold water which made them shake their heads.
Currently the best solution would be for Rose to soften up and agree to let them invest into Energence Pharmaceuticals but this matter was impossible.
Rose frowned slightly; Braiden’s words were not exaggerated.
They really had that kind of strength.
At this point, Lilia also spoke up with an arrogant expression on her face, “Everyone is right. If Energence Pharmaceuticals wants to survive, there is only one way: surrender or else we will use all our resources together to strangle it!”
“No channel supplier dares compete against us three families nor does any supplier dare supply goods to Energence Pharmaceutical!”
“Flynn knows Mr. Price. We have Layla whose connections aren’t much worse than Mr. Price! If there really needs to be business warfare, then Mr. Price won’t dare come forward easily!”
Flynn originally didn’t want anything to do with Lilia but when he heard her using Layla again, he became unhappy immediately saying coldly, “$200 billion may seem like a lot of money but for me it’s just so-so.”
“As for connections, you don’t need to say anything about Layla. Shut up. She’s just a grade schooler in my eyes,” Flynn paused and stared coldly at Lilia before continuing with disdain, “That woman can only bounce around in Ostrad while I have connections all over the world!”
As soon as he finished speaking, the doors of the exhibition hall opened again and a group of ten or so foreign men and women walked in with a tall man leading them confidently.
