Two years later…
Authoress POV
Dave has become the man he had planned to be. In these two years Dave had topped his game. He continued to work harder and harder till he finally became co-owner of Hilton’s company.
Dave did not stop there. He also signed a lot of multimillion contracts.
Today, Dave is a billionaire and has his very own mansion which was ten times better than Hilton’s.
But of course Dave never forgot his friend. He made sure to invest in Hilton’s company.
Dave now lives in New York.
In all his achievements, I mean when he realized that he was close to reaching his goal, he had a face surgery done.
Yes, a face surgery. Nobody except Hilton and Kathryn, knew about what Dave had been through.
He also made sure to change his name.
Today, everyone that knew this famous billionaire, knew him, not as Dave but as Sylvester.
Sylvester, the greatest billionaire in the whole of the continent.
Changing his face, his identity, his name, and his personality was all part of Dave’s plan to ruin Mr Adams.
It’s quite surprising how Dave never gave up on his thirst for revenge. Maybe any other person would have long forgotten about everything. But why did Dave choose to keep himself attached to the past?
Even before these two years, Hilton had always tried his best to convince Dave to turn away from his plans of taking revenge.
Unfortunately for Hilton and possibly for Dave as well, Dave turned deaf ears to every attempt of Hilton’s.
“Dave, what you are doing will cause more harm to you than it will to Mr Adams.” Hilton would always say.
But Dave held tight to his own will.
Where do you think Dave’s choices will lead him?
“Was Hilton right about his opinion?
Please comment about this as well.
Bella POV
What a beautiful morning! This is going to be a great day.
I got down from bed and straight to the living room.
“Mom! Dad!” I said.
I searched around in the living room but they weren’t there.
How unusual, they normally get up before I do.
I went left the living room to their room.
I opened the door and made myself welcome of course.
I jumped right on the bed and they woke up immediately.
“Bella…” Mom whispered from sleep.
“Yes mom?” I answered.
“How many times do I and your father need to warn you about barging into our room like this?” She asked.
“As many times as you wish mother. I will keep doing it over and over a again.” I replied.
Mother dropped a pillow on my face and I pushed it away.
“Mom!” I yelled.
“You know I don’t like it when something covers up my nose like that.” I said.
I got up from my parents’ bed.
“Do I have to keep reminding you?” I added.
“Good. Now this is how it will work. As long as you keep jumping into mine and your father’s bed like this, I will keep covering your face with a pillow.” She said.
“Hm. Not if I make a run for it first.” I said.
“Talking about intruders, why is dad not saying anything?” I asked.
“Honey?” My mom said.
“Mmm.” Was the only thing we heard from dad.
“Hey! Wake up.” My mom said to him.
“No… Just a little longer… He replied.
“Shh… Mom, I know how to get his attention.” I said.
I whispered something into mom’s ear and she nodded.
Time to execute my idea. I came out of their room and closed the door.
After a few seconds, I knocked on the door and my mother answered from within.
“Who’s at the door this early in the morning?” Mom asked.
I had an app in my phone which can change my voice to a man’s voice and also do play it clearly.
I played the voice after mom asked who was at the door.
“I need to speak with Mr Adams.” The recorded said.
“He can’t meet you right now, he is still asleep.” Mom said.
“But it’s a contract worth two million dollars.” The recorded voice said.
“What?!” I heard dad tell from inside.
“Hold on! I’ll be right there.” He said.
“Where do you think you are going Mr Adams?” Mom asked.
“Didn’t you here what the man at the door said?” Dad asked.
Mom must have given dad that absurd look she always gives when ever I was behind something that happened because dad yelled me name.
“Bella!” He shouted.
I immediately ran away to my room.
“La la la la.” I kept saying as I ran up the stairs.
“I can’t hear you dad.” I said.
Everywhere went into silence once I reached my room.
I took my bath and brushed my teeth. I searched through my wardrobe for the cutest outfit I had.
Christopher had asked me out just yesterday and that’s the only reason I’m behaving this way.
Christopher is the most handsome guy working in the same office as I do.
My parents can only see this cheerful side of me when I am extremely happy.
Actually, not just my parents but everybody else that works in the same office as I do.
In my place of work, pretty much everybody hates me.
