She was still talking wildly when Flynn swung his hand and slapped her.
Smack!
The sound of the slap echoed.
Virginia stumbled back a few steps, crashing heavily into Braiden’s arms. Her head was buzzing, and her right cheek stung with pain.
“See! Everyone heard it. She asked me to hit her. I didn’t do it on my own!”
Flynn spread his hands innocently and shook his head.
“I’ve never encountered such a request before in my life. It’s unheard of for someone to ask someone else to slap them!”
Rose almost burst out laughing at the scene but quickly covered her mouth and lowered her head.
This guy was really infuriating!
Virginia was stunned by the sudden slap, as were the others who watched in shock before erupting into chaos.
“You son of a bitch… Mr. Swanson, you have to help me out here! Look at my face… wah wah…” Virginia didn’t expect Flynn would dare lay hands on her here.
While shocked and angry, she looked at Braiden with tears in hopes that he could help restore order.
“How dare you hit her? How dare you cause trouble on my estate?”
Braiden looked at Virginia’s swollen face and bloody lips; he knew there would be less fun tonight as he exploded with rage.
“Mr. Swanson, this is your fault too,” Flynn said indifferently while pointing towards Virginia’s direction. “She asked me to do it. I didn’t initiate anything.”
“And besides that since she is your woman, then keep an eye on what she does instead of letting loose like a dog!”
“We’re here to discuss matters. What’s the meaning of having a watchdog here?”
“Discuss matters?” Braiden’s face darkened, and he gritted his teeth, saying, “You come here and talk nonsense, either declaring war or slandering Ms. Woods. Is that how you discuss matters?”
Flynn sighed helplessly, “I’m telling the truth. If you don’t believe me, whose fault is that?”
“If it’s true then prove it,” Braiden retorted furiously, “You claim to be Lennon Porter’s medical master so show us proof!”
“As long as you have that ability, not only will I not bother you but also let Virginia apologize.”
“But if there isn’t any capability, then consider yourself intentionally causing trouble because we won’t tolerate this behavior!”
After hearing this, Virginia gritted her teeth fiercely, “Mr. Swanson, this waste just talks big. What are we even arguing about?”
“Just break his legs quickly, and throw him out already!”
“If he were better than Dr. Porter, Rose’s scars would have disappeared long ago! Why are they getting worse?”
“Mr. Swanson, you may not know this in Pelens, but I saw Rose’s scars worsen a few days ago. They’re twice as bad as before and the wounds look like those of a corpse. Even children would cry at the sight!”
“If that waste is better than Dr. Porter, could Rose’s scars become like this?”
Everyone nodded after hearing this.
“I’ve seen Rose’s scars and they’re pretty scary – they snake from her mouth to her ear like a centipede.”
“I heard she searched for medicine for three years and spent hundreds of thousands trying to find several famous doctors who couldn’t cure it. It really is tricky! I think other than Medicine King Roman and Medicine Saint Lennon Porter, it’ll be hard for anyone else to cure it! Ms. Woods should be able to do so too but it’ll take some time.”
“Isn’t that perfect? That kid isn’t Dr. Porter’s master? He should easily be able to cure these small scars then right? Let him prove himself!”
The celebrities present all had mocking expressions on their faces – finally finding a way to shut Flynn up.
Layla also nodded slightly and said, “I’ve seen Ms. Sharp’s scar; she was injured by a poisonous knife.”
“Treatment will be difficult but give me one month; I should be able to heal her!”
Braiden listened then his face showed some determination. “You’ve heard everyone else here already,” he said.
“Don’t try acting godly or anything like Dr. Porter does. Just make sure you can heal Rose within one month just like Ms. Woods did – then I’ll let you go free.”
“Don’t even think about running away. It won’t work! People all over the country know me. Even if you run abroad your life won’t last long!”
“One month? Ms. Woods still has room for improvement with her medical skills, huh?” Flynn was stunned when he heard this before shaking his head again saying, “For me, one week is enough.”
“And what’s more, Rose has been using my medicine on her scar so it should have already disappeared by now.”
“Oh f***k. he’s being stubborn again!” Milo looked angry saying, “He always wants everything done his way. Why does he always want to suppress Ms. Woods?”
“Mr. Swanson is giving you an opportunity. If you don’t kneel down right now and apologize while struggling, you’re only making things worse!”
“All right, you keep resisting. I’m not going ask about your medical skills yet, but do you have any qualification certificates?” Milo asked coldly.
“Hmm?” Flynn thought about it before answering, “Nope, I don’t have any.”
“Hahaha…” The crowd burst into laughter once again.
“This guy is really amazing, he doesn’t even have a medical license! And he claims to be Dr. Porter’s master! Mr. Barrett hit the nail on the head, this kid was exposed in an instant!”
“Rose, did you hear that? That guy doesn’t have a medical license, hurry home and change your bandages! If you use his medicine and it gets worse, your whole face will be ruined and it’ll be all over!”
“Oh my god! These two are really weirdos! One dares to give medicine and the other dares to use it! Just wait and see, in a few days Rose’s face will turn into a ghost. By then she won’t even be able to leave the Davies’ Pharmaceuticals building!”
Rose blinked slightly as she looked at Flynn with concern in her eyes. How could this guy not even have a medical license? But why did it feel so comfortable after applying the ointment on her scars?
After hearing Flynn’s words, Layla frowned, “I advise you to apologize to Mr. Swanson right away and throw away the medicine you gave Rose.”
“Don’t try to act tough about everything!”
Flynn didn’t bother responding.
Kimber said sternly, “I know you want to prove yourself but don’t use someone else’s face as an experiment.”
“If something goes wrong, you can just walk away leaving an innocent woman hurt.”
“Ms. Sharp, maybe you don’t understand Flynn very well. This man is crazy!”
“He dares do anything. If you believe him now, then regret will come too late!”
Although both sides were opposed, they both agreed that what Flynn did was pretty disgusting.
To prove his own medicine, he actually used a woman’s face as an experimental subject which was irresponsible!
Flynn coldly sneered with disdain, “I never fail when using my medicines, so don’t worry about me!”
Seeing how confident Flynn looked, Rose felt somewhat relieved inside as she spoke indifferently, “I trust Flynn. He wouldn’t harm me.”
She hadn’t known him for long, but she felt like he had never harmed her before instead every time they talked his advice always proved true.
Rose didn’t think Minor Energy-Enhancing Pill could cure scars, but applying them did feel comfortable which meant Minor Energy-Enhancing Pill must work effectively.
“Did everyone hear that?” Virginia raised her eyebrows at everyone saying, “Rose is such a slut who would rather believe what Flynn says than Dr. Woods’. This kind of trash deserves their faces rotting down their bones!”
“Keep going, don’t stop. I’m counting on your face to get even worse! When you’re feeling down, just take a look and feel better all over!”
River leaned in close to Rose and whispered, “You don’t really think Flynn can heal your wound, do you? Dream on.”
“The knife that cut you was coated with arrow poison and frog venom. There’s no cure for this kind of poison.”
“Dr. Woods says it’ll take a month to heal, but it might not be completely cured. At best, it’ll make the scar fade.”
“No one in this world besides Dr. Porter and Roman Price can guarantee 100% healing for your scar!”
Rose’s heart skipped a beat as she listened closely to River.
“How do you know so much about my scar? Is it because of…”
She couldn’t finish her sentence as a terrible thought flooded her mind.
