Raising her gaze to check who she had just bashed into her eyes almost popped out of their sockets at the sight she beheld, it was Kai. She clenched her fist and gritted her teeth as waves of anger flashed through her. She couldn’t believe that she had just lost her food to the bastard again.
“You again?” She scoffed while pointing out her index finger at him and bit her lower lip, trying to control the waves of anger that sparked through her. Her eyes darted to her food that was now staining the beautiful and well-cleaned tiled floor, she closed her eyes tightly.
Meanwhile, Kai stood rooted to the floor with his hands tucked into his pockets while staring at her blankly like nothing had happened. Is he being serious right now?
“Are you mad, huh? You just made me lose my food, why the heck didn’t you look where you were headed, huh? Why do I always have to bump into bastards?” She yelled angrily, glaring hard at him but what annoyed her more was the fact that he was just staring back at her blankly like he couldn’t hear a thing from what she had said.
“Don’t you dare give me that look, I am talking to you!” She yelled, pushing him angrily. Tears welled up in her eyes and slowly found their way out. She wasn’t so hurt because of the food, but she was frustrated and to think that he was trying to add to her problems, hurts her a lot.
“If you’re expecting me to react to your rants, then that’ll be in your wildest dream. Don’t blame me for your carelessness, you bashed into me and should take responsibility. Look at my clothes, you stained them,” He spoke for the first time with sarcasm in his voice, pointing at his stained trousers. She scoffed unbelievably, tilting her head sideways. Of course, the whole scene was crazy and annoying, he was trying to turn the table around and she understood him well enough.
“Screw you, man! Who the heck do you think you are, huh? Is this how you go around bullying people, just because you have money, wears expensive suits, and drive beautiful and expensive cars? You’re nothing but a jerk!” She spat angrily, and he just smirked.
“I’m happy you acknowledged that my clothes are expensive and not like the rags you wear, my car is expensive and not like you that walk around with your short legs. If you’re sad because of the food, I can buy you another one. You look hungry, anyway,” He said sarcastically. He was never used to this kind of lifestyle, he isn’t the type that talks much, but somehow, he just finds it sweet and interesting, bullying her. He had never felt this way toward anyone before. Her guts and everything are what he can’t help but admires.
She scoffed repeatedly, processing everything he had just said. He dares to call her clothes rags even after all he had done to her? Another set of tears flooded down her cheeks.
“You don’t have to cry, young lady. I was just telling you the truth. Anyway, I can see that the food didn’t have a piece of meat,” He said with a smirk dancing on his lips, while she just stood staring at him. He clicks his fingers and in the next seconds, one of the waiters came rushing toward them.
“Good day, Sir,” The waiter greeted him.
“Four plates of pasta with four chicken laps, four packs of orange juice, and two bottles of water,” He ordered, and the waiter nodded and left to go get it.
“I didn’t need to ask if you’ll like Orange juice. Of course, ladies love the juice, so you shouldn’t be an exception,” He said sarcastically, and she bit her lower lip. The waiter arrived with the ordered food.
“Here, Sir,” The waiter said, but he signaled him to give it to Lilly, who took it with a smile on his face.
“Thank you,” She said politely to the waiter, who nodded and left them.
“It’ll also interest you to know that I’m not interested in this,” She smirked, as she dropped the bag on the floor and picked out one bottle of the juice before uncapping it. She smirked and emptied the whole content on his body while he stood frozen on the spot with his mouth dropped in shock.
“You can mess around with every other persons and go scot-free, but not me. Stay the hell away from me, you bastard!” She yelled, picking the bag from the floor and throwing it on his body, emptying the whole content of it on him.
“You disgust me!” She spat on his cloth and with that, he stormed out of the restaurant in tears. He gritted his teeth and stared into space with anger written all over him. He couldn’t believe that anyone would dare to get on his nerves and to think that he hadn’t killed her yet, keeps disturbing him.
Meanwhile, Lisa sat inside a black car outside, watching everything that just happened. She couldn’t believe her eyes, she couldn’t believe that someone would dare to talk back at Kai, let alone do what the girl had done. She was expecting him to react to it, but the fact that he was quiet about it, keep disturbing her and she couldn’t help but get curious about the connection between the too.
She watched as he stormed out of the restaurant angrily, and turning on the ignition of the car, she followed her secretly. She was curious to know who the girl was, maybe she could get some clue from her. After following Lilly for a few minutes, she finally saw her heading toward the school dorm, and she concluded that she must be a student of the school and lives in the dorm. She was about to leave the place, when something caught her attention, or someone, rather. It was Raymond.
“What’s he doing here?” She thought to herself but her eyes slowly narrowed as she sights him walk over to Lilly…
