Chapter 21 Noisy

The Qipao woman chuckled lightly, touching Marcel’s chest and looking at Caleb like he was a fool. “Those who want to have dinner with Mr. Hill every day can queue up to the next block from here.”
“It’s hilarious that you’re trying to get close just for a meal with Mr. Hill!”
“Don’t even think about causing trouble here. Even if you’ve had dinner with Mr. Hill or are his frequent friend, you won’t get any respect! Right, Mr. Hill?”
Caleb couldn’t help but be stunned and awkwardly smiled.
Marcel viciously pinched the Qipao woman’s fair and tender thigh and squinted his eyes as he asked, “I’m busy, so who made the first move?”
Flynn sat in his seat without lifting his head.
“Are you too scared to speak? You bastard!”
Caleb thought Flynn was afraid and turned to Marcel, “Mr. Hill, he made the first move. Everyone in the hall can testify!”
The diners in the hall nodded one after another.
The woman in the qipao saw Flynn wearing cheap clothes and having calloused hands. A look of disappointment briefly crossed her face.
She though it was one of the prominent figures in Niarak, but didn’t expect it would be such a poor guy. How boring!
Marcel glanced at Caleb’s injured hand and said calmly, “Since he made the first move, let him disable himself and leave.”
Caleb’s face stiffened, but he replied politely, “I’ll follow Mr. Hill’s lead!”
Flynn had disabled his right hand with a steel fork before, so it was only fair that he couldn’t get out of bed for the rest of his life.
Marcel believed in an eye for an eye. Although Caleb was unhappy about it, he had to accept it because Marcel had a powerful background.
Marcel nodded slightly and said to Flynn, “Young man, you made the first move and your argument is weak. Disable yourself and leave here!”
“I can overlook what happened at the hotel,” Marcel continued. “But the Peninsula Hotel no longer welcomes you. Go ahead and make your move!”
Marcel spoke as if issuing a royal decree from above. But nobody found it strange because everyone respected him.
“Mr. Hill is generous,” someone commented admiringly. “He doesn’t blame people for their mistakes.”
“That’s right!” another person chimed in agreement. “He should thank Mr. Hill for coming over. Otherwise, things wouldn’t have been so simple with just one disabled hand! Mr. Johnston would have taken half his life away.”
“He probably feels grateful to Mr. Hill already,” yet another person added eagerly. “Hurry up and make your move! Don’t delay Mr. Hill’s business!”
Seeing that Flynn remained unmoved by their words, Marcel said coolly, “Do you have any objections to my decision, young man? You can go out and find out what happens when people cause trouble in my hotel.”
“I’m doing you a favor by letting you off easy,” he continued. “If you don’t want to comply, then I’ll have to follow the rules of the hotel.”
Everyone nodded in agreement. If this kid didn’t want to comply, Marcel would definitely enforce the rules of the Peninsula Hotel. And at that point, Flynn’s punishment wouldn’t be as simple as losing a hand.
He clearly didn’t know how ruthless Marcel could be.
Caleb was furious when he saw Flynn still acting nonchalant and yelled at him, “You piece of trash! Mr. Hill is here and you still won’t even look up!”
“Are you scared or deaf?”
“You’re so noisy!” Flynn suddenly stood up and kicked Caleb with all his might.
Bang!
As everyone watched in shock, Caleb flew seven or eight meters through the air before crashing heavily onto the ground!
Flynn took a step forward with an icy expression on his face and faced Marcel directly, “Who do you think you are? I’ll do whatever I want.”
The lobby fell silent, with some forks even dropping in shock.
“Does this guy even know what he’s saying? Mr. Hill is a person who can talk with mayor!”
“Even that crippled man from Pelens only flirted with his waitress, never faced off against someone like Mr. Hill!”
“To insult Mr. Hill like this is more than just being disabled, it’s a death sentence!”
Marcel clearly didn’t expect such arrogant words from Flynn and his face turned frosty.
“Clear the room!”
Marcel gritted through his teeth.
Guests scattered away while over ten bodyguards quickly surrounded Flynn.
The qipao woman knew Marcel was furious and quickly removed her hand from Marcel’s chest and stepped aside. She was one of Marcel’s many mistresses, following him for three years to many grand occasions where others spoke respectfully without daring to offend him.
But this man in front of her who was only a few years older than herself caused trouble at Peninsula Hotel and not only refused to apologize but also insulted him?
From her understanding of Marcel, Flynn would probably not leave alive.
“It’s over!” Scarlet paled in fear as she realized things had spiraled out of control.
This guy can’t go a day without causing trouble. Did he see how even the Dragon Gate Group had to give Marcel some face? Talking to Marcel must mean he was just itching for death.
Flynn calmly sat down and continued eating his foie gras as if nothing had happened.
Caleb struggled to stand up, feeling a salty and fishy taste in his mouth. When he touched it with his hand, it was covered in blood. He immediately flew into a rage, feeling the urge to kill.
But he knew that Marcel was already furious and dared not speak under his sharp gaze.
Marcel stared fiercely at Flynn, with a pale face turning livid. He was someone of great influence in Niarak; even the heads of various government departments were on good terms with him.
Yet this young man before him dared to challenge him?
However, Marcel lived up to his reputation as a big shot and managed to suppress his anger. He pulled out a chair and sat opposite Flynn calmly, “May I know which family you belong to?”
“You don’t deserve the right to sit here and talk with me,” Flynn replied coldly. “If you want continue living in Niarak, then stay out of my way.”
“If you want death so badly, I wouldn’t mind sending you on your way.”
