I suddenly felt my heart beat faster and suddenly became nervous.
Is this old man making fun of me? I was about to text him when Liz ask me regarding Bryan’s reply.
“Sis did he reply already?” She asked.
I do not know what to answer. Thank God I thought of reading it first. I’m afraid that Liz might think that I’m doing something behind her back.
Of course, its hard to believe that having a same name with his new girlfriend is just a coincidence. Besides, I don’t seem to know that I already have a boyfriend. And that supposed boyfriend is my best friend’s ex boyfriend?!
Also I’m worried that I might lose my best friend because of this issue. She might also accuse me of stealing his boyfriend just like my other friends.
And that’s one thing I don’t think that I can handle. I would prefer to be an old maid than losing my best friend Liz.
“Ha? Not yet. Will you stop thinking about that guy?!” I said instead.
“Fine. Anyway, I’ll go ahead.” She said in a sad tone.
I feel sorry for her. I know and I can feel it, she is still in love with Bry. And speaking of that old retard! I will really confront him! I almost got myself in a difficult situation because of him.

When Liz left my house I immediately called Bry.
‘Hello girlfriend!’
I rolled my eyes. This brute!
“WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME YOUR GIRLFRIEND?! SINCE WHEN DID I BECAME YOUR GIRLFRIEND?! BRYAN JAMES LEE STOP BEING CRAZY OKAY?!”
‘Calmed down first girlfriend!’ He continued teasing me.
This guy is so good in pissing me off.
Alex calm yourself… inhale… exhale… relax…
I started to count 1 up to 10 just to calm myself.
“Bry I’m serious here. My best friend is hurting. Don’t act as if everything is a joke.” I told him.
I can’t stop thinking about Liz. Especially the sadness in her eyes when she left.
‘Fine I’m sorry for teasing you. I was stunned by your question that’s why I thought of teasing you. And why are you asking me if I already have a new girlfriend? Do you want to apply?’
HE IS SO SHAMELESS. Hmpf! He is being so cocky because he knew that he is handsome, hot and rich. Well if you will really think about it, he is really a boyfriend material. Plus he has a Korean blood.
I am into Koreans. I mean, I am attracted to them. One of my dreams is to marry a Korean guy because I am a fan of Korean dramas. I really like almost all the Korean actors that I have watched. That is why I became very interested with Koreans.
I actually had a crush on Bry before. I really wanted to meet him before because he is really known business man, but Liz met him first.
I decided not to tell Liz that I had a crush on Bry. What for right? I might just ruin them.
“Can you stop teasing me?! And for your information I will never commit on someone who used to be my friend’s boyfriend, what more if that person is my best friend’s ex boyfriend!” I hissed.
He didn’t utter a word.
Did I say something wrong? Did I offend him? But why will he be offended?
“Hey why are you not reacting?”
‘Ah? Nothing. Alex I’m just wondering, what if you fell in love with someone who used to be your friend’s boyfriend, what will you do?’
My eyebrow creased. Why is he asking me?
“I will avoid him.” I told him.
‘Why is that? What if he is also in love with you? Will you still avoid him?’
Why is he asking me this kind of questions? Its bothering me.
“Yes. I will still avoid him.”
‘But why?’
“Because I am not comfortable of it. I just don’t like that.”
Can this old retard stop asking me this kind of questions?!
He became silent again. I am feeling uncomfortable with his question.
Anyways I will just try to change the topic.
“Hey grandpa! You tell me, do you have another girl when you are still in a relationship with my best friend?!” I can’t help but asked.
I just really wanted to know the truth. If Liz hint is right or not. Since she can’t ask him, then I’ll ask him for her. Maybe I can still save their relationship.
“What? Is that what she told you?”
“Kind of. She told me that she felt like you are already liking someone else. But can you tell me what is the reason why you two broke up?”
‘Alright I will tell you. Its just because as a man I have needs. But sadly she can’t give it to me.’
I frowned. Needs? What kind of needs? Does he losing money that’s why he is in need of that?
But if that’s the case, Liz can easily give it to him because she is rich.
“What kind of needs?” I asked him.
‘Seriously you want to know?”
“Of course! What kind of needs is that? Stop beating around the bush!” I hissed.
‘Okay. But you need to promise me that when I told you this, it won’t change your perception of me?’
I cleared my throat. What does he mean by that?
‘Hey! You promise first!’
“Fine! I promise. So what is it?”
Why is he taking so long to answer? I am getting nervous here.
‘Sex.’
I was stunned by what he said. What did he said? sex? AS IN SEX?! Am I hearing it right?!
“What?” I wanted to know if I heard it right.
He then laughed so hard.
This brute! Is he making fun of me again?!
‘Are you shocked?!’
Who will not be surprise with what he said?! Oh my gosh! My virgin ears!!!
“Are you being serious here Bry? You are asking SEX from Liz?!”
I still can’t believe what he just said. I feel like he is just making fun of me.
‘Yes.’ He just said.
I cleared my throat. “And because Liz can’t give it to you that’s why you guys broke up?”
‘I said yes!’ There is a sound of irritation in his voice.
“Ah okay! I get it. Bye!” Only thing I can tell him.
‘Hey wait you-‘
I didn’t let him finish talking because I already ended the call.
I kind of feel disappointed on him.
I am proud of my best friend because she did not lose her virginity because of his whims. But I’m really disappointed with Bry because I never thought that he is that kind of guy. He doesn’t look like a pervert. Maybe he’s friends look like one but Bry? He look so harmless.
I thought of him as a perfect guy. His looks are perfect, he is very successful as a business man and a loving son.
He let his father to have an early retirement so that his parents can enjoy and have a quality time together.
Like in the often quoted line in Spiderman, “with great power comes great responsibility.”
Most of the successful business man often sacrifice their time with their family.
And now that Bry is the one handling their business, he’s parents always feel like they are on their honeymoon everyday.
Bryan took over the company at an early age. That’s why at the age of 28 he has proven himself and accomplished so many things in the business world. He is known as one of the hottest, youngest and successful man not just here in the country but in the whole Asia.
Their business continue to expand in Bry’s leadership.
Let just say that guys are really have that kind of NEEDS, but he did not just ask Liz to marry him? Once they got married they can do that everyday and every night. And also, they are already of age.
Those two are really crazy!
That’s is why I can’t have my own love life because those two always makes me stress!
