Ivan watched her in silence as she shut down the laptop and cleared his table.
“Let’s go and grab dinner, you need enough rest.”
Ivan wanted to decline but his stomach chose that very moment to rumble, making it impossible for him to refuse. Katty placed an order for his favourite food. Katty knew him very well, they grew up together and knew a lot about each other back then. The story changed when Ivan grew older and realized that katty had eyes for him.
“Hey! Ivan? Cheers!” Katty called, pulling him out of his thoughts. They clinked their wine glasses and sipped in silence.
By the time they were done with dinner, Ivan was sure that this was exactly what his body wanted. Skillet chicken thighs with creamy tomato Basil Spanish sauce did his body much good. He had neglected his stomach and body in the past but that day was an exception. At this time, even the wine tasted incredibly nice. He took a glass after another, another, and on and on. In no time, he had finished a bottle of wine.
“Hey! What’s going on?” Katty exclaimed. She just noticed that he was drinking too much.
“What? The wine is sweet. Try it!” he urged and filled his glass once more.
“No, Ivan. You’ll get drunk and it isn’t good for us…”
“I appreciate your concern kid sis, but I’m perfectly fine,” he answered and kissed her forehead.
Ivan did get drunk and Katty had to drive him home. She helped him to his bed and also helped him take off his shirt. He looked handsome and enticing and it brought thoughts and ideas that she didn’t dare implement into her head! The best option was to leave. She adjusted his pillow, straighthened her clothes and stood up.
“Don’t go, please, don’t go,” the man on the bed called after her. She looked at him in surprise. Was he asking her to stay back? Has he changed his mind? Or was he talking under the influence of alcohol?
Nevertheless, she decided not to blow her only chance. She stopped and let him hold her hands.
“Stay the night, please.”
She took clue and climbed the bed. First, she wrapped her hands around him, gave him a massage and planted a kiss on his lips. Ivan frowned, muttered some inaudible words and turned to the other side. That didn’t deter Katty, she reached for his trousers and touched him down there. His sexuality was balanced and in no time, his cock rose in response to her touch. She unbuckled his belt to proceed.
“Katty.. stop…” he called out weakly but Katty could not stop. She wanted him.
“He’s drunk. He won’t remember when he wakes up,” she assured herself.
When he saw she wouldn’t stop, he made to stand up from the bed but his strength failed him. He had consumed plenty of alcohol. He could only hold Katty’s hands and say,
“Stop!”
He turned over and lay on his chest and closed his tired eyes.
Nelly returned from work all smiles.
“Mum!” her daughter cried and ran into her embrace. Emma was growing fast and she seldom troubled her mother. Nelly carried her up and whirled her around. Her laughter echoed on the house, she loved it whenever her mother did that.
“I hope you were good today,” Nelly asked.
“Yes, mum. I was. I didn’t disturb my nanny and she called me a good girl,” Emma announced proudly.
“Ohhh. That’s my baby girl,” her mother responded and gave her a kiss on her forehead. Nelly took a few minutes to look closely at her daughter. She looked more like Ivan. In fact, she was a mini version of the man, she had his blue eyes, small firm sexy lips as well as his nice black curls. The only thing she inherited from her mother was her skin colour and her straight nose. As Nelly looked at her daughter, she remembered her father, his charming looks and the lips with which he took her to cloud nine…
“Oh shit!” she called herself to order. She shouldn’t be thinking of that bloody and disgusting fellow.
“Alright. Come my baby, mummy will help you take your bath.”
“Mummy, do horses fly?”
Nelly laughed.
“Oh no! Horses don’t fly, my dear.”
“But I watched a cartoon and the horses were flying and…”
“It’s a cartoon, that is the reason. Real horses don’t fly, okay?”
“Okay mummy.”
“Now, be good and mummy will give you a bath, so that you will be clean and smell sweet and fresh!”
Emma was intelligent and inquisitive, just like her father.
Nelly shook her head sadly. Everything about Emma reminded her of Ivan. Sometimes, it fueled her desire to make him pay for abandoning her years ago. Other times, she wished he were there for their daughter.
Neuer played a father figure for Emma. But the funny thing was that Emma didn’t like him. She didn’t like Amon either. She was okay in a world of her own. She just wanted her mum, and no other assistance. Neuer had tried getting close to her times without number but each day was met with a new version of opposition. Even as a little baby, she cried whenever Amon or Neuer carried her. Nelly had thought she would outgrow it but instead, she learnt newer ways to avoid Neuer and Amon!
Nelly wiped her clean with a clean and soft cotton towel. She wore her a beautiful dress that accentuated her angelic appearance. They were eating chips and watching cartoon in the sitting room when the door bell rang. Nelly went to get the door. She was super excited when she saw Neuer. She hugged him and kissed his lips.
“It’s been a long time since I saw you,” she complained like a teenager.
“Yh, I know and I’m very sorry. I apologize. I’ve been largely at work, you know so many patients, surgeries and all. But the good thing is that I’m here for my baby now,” he answered and they laughed heartily.
“My bad. Come in please,” Nelly invited and stepped aside.
“Oh my beautiful baby, how are you my dear?” Neuer called out to Emma. She put down her chips and turned towards him.
