Frank was helpless, he stared at Evelyn and squeezed out a cold response, “A gamble…”
The two of them returned to the room.
Ten minutes later, Evelyn watched as the crimson blood slowly flowed into Henry’s body. Finally, her exhausted body couldn’t hold up any longer, and she tightly closed her eyes.
Frank panicked.
“Evelyn, Evelyn,” He picked her up and rushed out.
David followed, concerned, “Where are you taking Madam? If boss wakes up…”
“Shut up. Henry won’t die. If you stop me again, and he wakes up to find Evelyn dead, I can’t guarantee what he’ll do…” With those words, David immediately stopped in his tracks, watching as Frank carried Evelyn away.

David stayed in the room until midnight, and Henry finally woke up.
Henry, still groggy, mistook the figure sitting at the foot of the bed for Evelyn. It wasn’t until David stood up that he flashed a hint of disappointment in his eyes.
“Boss,” David carefully chose his words, “Madam stayed with you for a long time and went to rest just now.”
“And the old master is also sleeping in the guest room of the villa.”
Henry nodded, his expression easing slightly. He moved his clenched left hand slightly, and in his palm lay a ring with an emerald gemstone. However, the ring was broken in the middle, slightly affecting its appearance.
“Give this to Evelyn,” Henry handed the ring to David.
David nodded respectfully, unable to help but glance at the ring a little longer.
The members of the ‘Silent Reapers’ were never supposed to harm the boss, yet he voluntarily exposed his location for this ring.
Indeed, it was all for Evelyn.

Frank drove all the way to the outskirts of Memphis, bypassing a desolate graveyard until a standalone European-style villa came into view.
After settling Evelyn inside, he rushed upstairs. Soon, he dragged down a man wearing cartoon pajamas, with disheveled hair and wire-framed glasses.
“Frank, have you lost your mind? I just fell asleep,” complained the man with glasses.
“No time for nonsense,” Frank snapped, throwing him to the ground. “Save her.”
The man with glasses pouted and glanced at the sofa. Once he caught sight of Evelyn’s face, he jumped to the other side of the sofa in terror, looking as if he had seen a ghost.
“Uh uh uh… Damn it! Frank, you beast, are you out of your mind? That’s a woman, and I hate woman the most, don’t you know?” He exclaimed, attempting to go upstairs but immediately pulled back by Frank.
“Will you save her or not?” Frank pressed the man with glasses, clearly losing patience.
“The only person who knows your current location is me. I recall the bounty for finding you has reached thirty million, right? If I report to the family, I might… make a little profit?”
The man looked at Frank’s serious gaze and couldn’t help but shiver.
“Save her. How could I not save the person you brought? I was just venting, complaining a bit, is that not allowed?” Despite his reluctance, he reluctantly made his way over to Evelyn’s side.
Just as he was about to examine her, he felt a tight grip on his wrist, as if caught in a giant vice… Evelyn had actually grabbed his wrist.
The man with glasses felt goosebumps all over his body. Before he could react, a heavy blow landed on his right eye.
The world spun, and the man with glasses fell to the ground in misery. Evelyn stood above him, her foot on his neck, staring down at him with a cold gaze.
“Who are you?” Evelyn furrowed her brows warily. She had no memory of this environment at all. Could it be that she was kidnapped after falling asleep from the blood transfusion?
Her actions were strong and vigorous, far from someone in need of help. The man with glasses realized he had been fooled by Frank again.
“Frank, get out,” the man with glasses shouted.
Frank, shocked by the scene before him, finally reacted and called out, “E… Evelyn…”
Upon hearing Frank’s voice, Evelyn turned her head to see him…
“Evelyn, are you alright?”
Evelyn breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing Frank and shook her head. She wasn’t sure how long she had been asleep, but she felt more energetic now than before the excessive blood loss. Especially her hands, they felt stronger than before.
Frank noticed too. Just as he was about to speak, the man with glasses on the floor roared in anger.
“Would you two have a bit of conscience and let me go first??”
Evelyn released her foot, her eyes filled with apology.
Frank, worried about her health, forced the man with glasses to get up and conducted a detailed physical examination on Evelyn.
