Lexy’s POV.
Adam’s hair is low on his head as usual, I could perceive the scent that escaped from it. He’s dressed in a white inner top with a checkers shirt on top of it, with a pair of jeans and matching ankle high boots.
For the first time since we knew each other, I noticed how brown his eyes were, like they were gonna pour out, how small and pink his lips was, how well trimmed his eyebrows were and how broad his shoulders were.
I blinked as his words resounded in my ears, then replied with a small smile “thanks Adam. You look nice yourself”
“Are you ready to leave?”
I nodded “mhm”
He steps to the side so I’d walk through. I walked to his car which he hurried over to open for me, shutting it close after I sat down. He walks to the other side and sits in before pulling us out and speeding through the road.
He drove us for a very short time, pulling up in front of a popular diner with it’s bright lights shinning brightly.
I stepped out of the car and waited for him to walk over before leading me into the diner.
The place was nice, your typical fancy type of diner.
A woman walks to us and greeted which we replied before she led us back outside. Great, I really hoped we’d get a table outside. After sitting under the standing umbrella, the woman asked.
“Would you like anything to drink before ordering? ”
“Ah,” Adam started saying before looking at me “would you like anything?”
Then I said to her “no, I think I’ll get a drink later when I’m ordering thank you”
“Great,” Adam said to her “we’ll order later”
She nods before setting down the menus in front of us and walking away.
“This place is great” I said before the threatening silence could break in.
“You’ve been here before?”
“Not really”
