“What’s this? What’s happening to me?!”
Her vision went dark and everything fell silent. In what appeared to be a flash, Roxanne lost consciousness while seating on the toilet seat.
Darkness, an empty void. Whispers of thousands enveloped her as she felt herself drift in the endless expanse of space. Suddenly, a warm light began to glow, returning Roxanne’s sight to her. She felt herself land on an empty field, feeling the shrubs on her feet, and the warm moisture of the lush vegetation surround her. Roxanne witnessed what appeared to be a flower garden, paradise to the lost and abode of tranquility.
Her sense of smell returned, allowing her to perceive the flowers, the sweet aroma of everything nature had given her in this strange space. Roxanne took in the wonderful sight, not wanting such moment of peace to end. Compared to the pain she had felt not long ago, this seems like paradise.
Suddenly, Roxanne felt the entire area darken. Clouds of storms appeared, and flashes of lightning were heard. Roaring screams of thunder snapped her from the bliss she had as she felt her body return to it’s shivering state. Confused on what was happening, Roxanne couldn’t even move. She was paralyzed, forced to watch what would happen next.
Strong winds appeared and blew the vegetation off the ground. The winds swirled and turned, forming a massive twister that uprooted the greens and lush flowers from the soil.
“W-what is this…?!” Roxanne whispered in wonder.
Lightning struck everywhere, as cold breeze swept through the area. More deafening sounds of thunder echoed around as lightning struck several parts of the ground, making it get enveloped in flames.
The flames are though what was left of the greens and rich soil, turning them into hardened, barren, grounds, a wasteland. The flames passed through her, as though she was a mere projection, meant to spectate the whole thing. In no time, the devastation creased, and as the smoke ascended to the heavens, the clouds responded by giving out their cold reply… rain!
Darkness, cold, destruction… in an instant, everything beautiful around her turned into nothing, only to be showered by the rain.
“I don’t understand… why…?”
Suddenly, the clouds parted, and something Hurst through from the thick layer of darkness, illuminating everything once again. It was the moon, the bright colored orb of light brought it’s illumination and chased away the darkness.
It emanated heat that warmed up the whole area, and suddenly, the rains ceased. The clouds departed, leaving only the clear night sky, an abundance of stars… and the full moon hung on the sky.
Gazing above her, Roxanne couldn’t stop staring at the Moon. It called her, yet seemed to be descending as well. Something seemed to be coming from it, yet Roxanne couldn’t make it out entirely.
“Roxanne.” A voice suddenly called out from behind her.
“E-eek!” She squeaked at the sudden mention of her name.
Her body instinctively moved away, turning to see who called out for her.
“I-I can move again…?” Roxanne whispered in shock, staring at her slightly transparent form.
This definitely wasn’t her real body.
She felt the presence of another, the one who called for her, directly in front of her. Roxanne’s eyes bulged instantly. Her body quivered as she couldn’t move once again. The force and aura emanating from the direction of the voice was too much.
Compared to Asher’s force, compared to Katrina’s… this was on another level entirely. It was almost as if Roxanne was standing face-to-face with a god!
“W-who…?!” Her voice quivered.
“Roxanne…” The voice called her again.
This time it was much clearer. It sounded more feminine, like it was the epitome of tranquility. The pitch was very gentle, soothing to the ear, and her heart became warm up hearing it. Slowly, her trembling ceased. The voice appeared to be getting closer to Roxanne, and as it did, Roxanne felt much better. It was like she was being embraced by a soft, yet warm feeling. Was this also the aura this stranger emanated?
Finally, the stranger came directly in front of Roxanne and touched her dropped face, raising it to meet her gaze.
As Roxanne’s face was key with her the stranger’s soft touch, she felt her entire body tingling with power and warmth all at once. Her astral body glowed and she felt rejuvenated somehow. As she raised her face and she saw the stranger, Roxanne’s eyes bulged.
Who she saw was a woman, appearing to be clothes with the light of the moon and adorned by stars. Her apparel was white and glowing, yet giving off hints of a milky texture and blue shade. She was a little taller than Roxanne, since her face was a little bent to look into the stunned girl’s eyes.
The sparkles in her eyes seemed like the vast expanse of the sky, filled with compassion and emotion. She had smooth skin, fair and lovely. Her hair was white, flowing and floating behind her as she stood before Roxanne.
There was no doubt about this… this was a divine being.
“A-are you a-” She struggled to speak, unsure of how to frame her words.
The woman before her smiled, nodding slightly.
“Yes, I am the moon goddess. Also known as the mother of all werewolves and the progenitor of your kind.” She smiled, looking below her a little.
Roxanne’s eyes followed her gaze and was surprised by what she saw. She had been too distracted by the goddess before her that she failed to notice the presence of someone else, or rather… something else!
“Hello, Roxanne…” The second existence spoke in a thick, deep voice.
His voice tone sounded powerful, firm, and yet… also kind. Roxanne was surprised. After all, the bring that just spoke was a wolf.
The wolf had dark fur, with deep red eyes that seemed to entrap her within it, reminding Roxanne of someone she knew quite well. Still, his jet-like fur glowed, and even on all fours, he was more majestic than any creature she had seen. He had markings on his body, like tattoos that glowed and hummed crimson all over him, finely accentuating his dark appearance.
The canine being smiled at her upon noticing that she was diligently analyzing his features, making Roxanne even more flustered.
Her mind was a mess. She was dumbfounded, unable to tell how to begin, or what to even say. A moon goddess and a mystic wolf… what in the world was happening?
“Kyron, would you stop teasing the poor girl?” The moon goddess spoke to the Wolf, who appeared to be grinning in satisfaction.
Was he enjoying Roxanne’s flustered state.
“Fine, fine.” The wolf said, suddenly emitting a faint crimson light.
The light flashed, and suddenly, appearing before Roxanne was no longer a woman and a wolf, but a woman and a man. The wolf had taken in the form of a man. He had dark skin, and coiled dark hair. His eyes remained the same, as well as the tattoos he had on his skin.
He wore nothing as a top, showing his fine muscles and extremely fine body. In all fairness, he was better in all ways than Asher in his human form. His handsome face was not meant to belong to any human since it charmed Roxanne instantly.
“Y-you’re…” Roxanne muttered, trying to hide her blushing face.
“Yes. I’m Kyron. Well, I’m not a moon god or anything. I’m just the Origin wolf. The source of power for your kind.” He answered with an energetic smile.
Now, there she was amidst deities and legends in werewolf myth. Roxanne was thrown into a state of wonder, yet panic.
Why was she here? Where was this place exactly? And what did these two beings want from her?
