Everything was back to normal.
Everything Camille did was exposed. She threatened Dr Turner with her daughter, then made plans to kidnapped Olivia and threatened Lucas. It seemed like a mission impossible, but it happened. The Zack family’s business nosedived, and Camille went into the prison.
Olivia was curious about how Camille knew she was alive?
She could still remember how surprised and terrified when people in the wedding reception saw her walking into the place. There weren’t many people who knew that she was still alive. How could Camille possible know about it?
Olivia told Lucas about her question. Lucas hesitated and told Olivia the truth, “It was Isabella.”
“You knew that you’re alive through Lance. She wasn’t living a good life for all these years, so she wanted revenge. Somehow, Isabella was then connected to Camille.”
Lucas frowned. Sometimes, being too popular wasn’t a good thing.
Olivia was surprised, “You said Isabella wasn’t living a good life, and she wanted revenge?”
Olivia was curious about what happened between Isabella and Lucas.
Lucas stared at Olivia’s eyes for a while, then told her what happened, “I never felt anything more than a colleague for her. It was all for work. Olivia, you’re the only person I love from the beginning till now.”
Olivia didn’t know how to respond. She was once envious of the loyal love other people had, and she never expected these from Lucas. But now, Lucas told her that what she had now was what she wanted all along.
Olivia smiled tenderly, “Me too.”
Lucas was the only one.
“Mommy, daddy, what are you doing?”
A girl in a white dress ran towards them. Lucas opened his arms and hugged her, then said, “We were discussing what present should we prepare for our little princess?”
Janet smiled brightly, “I want a little brother!”
Olivia stunned, then said in resign, “Nonsense.”
Lucas smiled too, “It seems like I need to work hard to make Janet’s wish come true.”
Three of them smiled brightly in the garden. It was a harmonious picture that envied people.
Lucas and Olivia had been through so much, and they chose to stay together. People in the Cooper family were worried about Olivia, but when they saw how dearly Lucas treated Olivia, they had to agree with Olivia’s choice. As for the Foster family, nobody could ever stop Lucas from what he wanted to do. All oppositions stopped when Janet appeared.
