Receiving a letter, not an ordinary one. A challenge, a battle to the death. Me against my bestfriend. We are to go to a secluded place. A portal it seems.
The Portal of Death. This portal is a portal of death. Only activated by masters of destinies. Those who have mastered and passed through death. The portal is opened by Miguel so that there would be no distractions and we could fight to the best that we can. It is one of the places he has known. He challenged strong people or beings that he has met there from necromancers to fallen angels.
Mariefe has seen the letter and prayed for me. She already felt that this is the time. The time to finally end the life of a bitter foe. A foe not a lover, a foe not a dreamer. He has killed a lot of people. Has he learned something? What is the purpose of his life?

What number is this?”, she asked. “Two”, I said. “Your mind is still unclear. It is four. How could you miss it? Perhaps your plan too.”, she said. “Tell what is it.”, she said. I thoroughly told her my plan. In the end, she gave me an Angel’s feather. The feather turned into an amulet. I have my sword and amulet. But how does the amulet work?
We went to the meeting place in the time stated. Miguel is already there inside the portal. Mariefe kissed me and hopes to see me come back. “Promise me you will come back.”, she said. “I will.”, I said.
It was an open area but full of skeletons like a graveyard. All have fully decayed to skeletons. Skeletons everywhere. There we fought.
I commanded my sword to be as hard as diamond and me too. How could he possibly defeat me? But I was like looking at myself too. He also has a sword similar to mine. I vigorously attack him with all that I got. Swinging my sword like an expert of it. He blocked all of my attacks. I should thought of a way on how to evade him.
“Is this how you win your battles?”, I said. “Certainly yes”, he said. He defeated even stronger enemies with this strategy. “How could I possible defeat you?”, I asked. “I won’t tell you unless you fight me earnestly. Fight me wholeheartedly.”, he said smilingly.
I change my sword to a water sword. It should penetrate to anything. But he does too to a water sword. As the water splash so does his sword. It is still a good even match. “How do you automatically copy me?” I asked. He just shrugged his shoulder. “I won’t tell you.”, he said.
I changed my sword to fire sword. He did too. Fighting fire with fire. As the sword hit each other, it produces a bang, a bigger flame.
We fought for hours. I begin to weaken as time pass by. Each strike becomes heavier. I know that I will last only a couple of hours more. Until I passed out. Am I still fighting? My body is at automatic mode. That is the power of the amulet.
A spirit of fighting. The amulet is the “Warrior Amulet”. A red diamond shaped one. It continuously fight even the bearer is weak or unable to fight like for my case have passed out.
The fight went for a week. Miguel cannot continue and also passed out. This is the second time that he has been defeated. The first one by a powerful mage. I guess I will just leave him in this portal.
