THE CEO ALPHA KING (-Left behind-)

“So what are you gonna be making for your King and his right-hand man?” Anna asked Serena as they both took a walk in the garden of the Mansion.
“Well, I don’t know yet. Why don’t you suggest to me what the king and his right-hand man will love to take,” Serena voiced out.
“Uh, sorry, but I’m only allowed to assist you in whatever you want to make. I can’t do what you asked me. I don’t wanna lose my job either.”
“But it’s just a suggestion. Who says you are going to lose your job?” Serena scoffed in annoyance.
Anna giggled. “Well, you never know.”
Serena kept quiet, and they continued walking.
“So about what I told you last night. Have you thought of it? Have you come up with a plan to make him yours, or should I go ahead and steal him away from you.” Anna said.
Serena halted. She turned to face Anna. Her mind quickly interpreted the words and remembered all that Anna said to her last night. There was no way she could forget those words so soon.
“Anna…” she opened her mouth to speak, but Anna interrupted her again.
“Why are you giving me the serious face? Have you not still accepted the fact that he finds something in you. And he likes what he found,” Anna continued walking.
Serena sighed; she followed her immediately.
“And if you keep pretending that you also don’t feel the same way towards him, then you are going to lose him sooner, of course; I’m sure I’m not the only lady interested in him. Damn, look at his building, so beneficial and massive, and he is also very tall and handsome.” Anna claps her hands together dreamily.
Serena got to her front and stopped, blocking her from moving.
“Seriously, Anna, you should never repeat such things. You are lucky he and Adam didn’t hear a thing you said last night, else your head would have been hanging on a stake and same as mine for listening to you.” Serena scoffed again.
Anna laughed in amusement.
“I don’t think he is a king that will do that. He is not that cruel to not too nice to others either. But yesterday, the fire that I saw in his eyes when he looked at you, that was the same fire I see in my ex’s eyes than before he got arrested by the cops.” Anna sighed bitterly at the end.
“Fire? Boyfriend?” Serena picked much interest.
“Hmm,” Anna bobbed her head twice.
“My ex-boyfriend, Chris, fell for me in our final year in high school, we went to the same college, and he couldn’t stop chasing me. He could do everything to win me over. His eyes always sparkle whenever he looks at me.
The truth is, when someone falls in love deeply with you, you’ll know it. You’ll see it in his eyes. The way he stares intensely at you is also one of the reactions you get from someone that finds you attractive.” Anna explained.
“But I’m not attractive. So, why did you break up with Chris then?” Asked Serena.
“He got influenced by his new set of friends. He stole diamonds with them and got caught days later. He was thrown into prison together with his friends, and I ended things with him that day. I never knew he could do such things. He was always laughing and cheerful. He never told me he had money issues either, I was so disappointed in him, but the truth is, I still love him even till now and want to visit him every day. He’ll soon be released too.” Anna narrated.
Serena kept looking at her sadly. Anna smiled a bit.
“Is it too much? Do you think I should continue loving him, or I should forget about him completely and move on?” Anna asked.
“I don’t know. I don’t know the type of person he is either, and I won’t advise you to leave him. I’ll advise you to listen to every word he speaks with care before you make your final decision.” Serena advised.
“Woah, are you a relationship expert?”
Serena chuckled at the question. “No,” she smiled a bit, embarrassed.
“Yeah, I thought so too. You don’t even know what BDSM means. So anyway, did you learn what it means and about your King, are you going to take him or-” Anna couldn’t complete her sentence because Serena cut her off.
“I’ll go look for something to cook for his Highness and his right-hand man.”
Serena then turned and started heading back to the Mansion.
“Wait, why are you avoiding both topics? What happened? I’m sure you watched it over ten times. Do you also want to watch fifty shades darker? We could watch it together tonight.” Anna said, running behind her as Serena walked extremely fast.
Serena didn’t reply and kept walking until they both got to the Mansion. She went straight into the kitchen and started looking around.
“You should probably make him pasta and chicken or some Noddles. I was going to make Noddles for him the last time, but he left early.”
“Noddles?” Serena groaned.
“How do you expect him to like that?” Serena frowned her face.
“Never. I’m never making that for King Zed. He might as well kill me,” Serena said in determination.
“Okay then. What do you have in mind to cook for king Zed and his man? Huh. You asked me to suggest earlier, didn’t you? I suggested now, and you are turning me down.”
“It’s lunch, you should make something light but something they will equally enjoy after returning from wherever they went. Don’t you want your King to keep falling in love with you or what?” Anna smirked.
Serena turned to glare at her. “Stop saying that, will you?” Serena pointed straight at her.
“Why? Don’t you like it? I will keep saying it. I’ll even say it in front of them to make you more uncomfortable.” Anna said stubbornly with her lips pouted.
“Bad child,” Serena frowned and turned away from her.
“Let’s make pasta and chicken as you suggested then.” She added.

The next day. Serena and Anna stayed in the sitting room for king Zed and his Beta. They are leaving for the meeting that made them come.
Shortly King Zed and his Beta descended the stairs. Serena ran to the table and took up the cup of coffee she made for King Zed, and she ran to give it to him. King Zed received it without uttering a word. He drank from the cup until he finished the content, then he handed the cup back to her.
“We’ll be leaving after the meeting ends.” King Zed said.
“Yes-your Highness,” Serena bowed a bit.
“No, you aren’t leaving with us, Serena. You are staying behind, and there is something you need to do here first before you come back.” Beta Adam continued, he said.
“Huh,” She looked up at King Zed, then instantly took her eyes down.
“Yes. I won’t be taking you along with me. You have something to do, and someone will come over in the evening to take you. Listen and obey every order,” King Zed grunted.
“Yes, I’ll do as you command.”
King Zed lifted his eyes from Serena over to Anna.
“You stay here with Serena until everything is okay. Don’t worry, and I’ll double your pay.” King Zed instructed before walking away from the girls.
“We won’t be returning here. We’ll be leaving for LA from here. Take care of yourself and don’t cause trouble.” Beta Adam advised. He made to follow king Zed, but Serena grabbed his hand, making him stop.
“Why… why? Why do I need to stay here? Did I do anything wrong? Did I offend the king in any way?” She asked worriedly.
Beta Adam sighed. “That’s right. The next time we meet, I’m sure you won’t behave this way then. All these fear in you could have already left you. I’m hoping for then, ” Beta Adam said in his mind before replying out.
“No. You didn’t, but king Zed said that you’ll return once you accomplished your mission.” Beta Adam explained and prepared to leave again. Serena grabbed his hand the second time.
“When…? When will I return? How many days will I spend here?” Serena asked, already tearing up. She couldn’t believe that they were going to leave her behind.
Beta Adam turned to face her fully.
“There is no need for you to be frightened. You’ll be returning late, and the mission will delay you a lot. So take your time and put your soul and body into it. We might even become friends after you finish your task. No! We will become friends when you return.” Beta Adam flashed her a toothless smile.
He prepared to leave again. Serena grabbed him for the third time.
“Please, my brother. I can’t reach him from here. Can you please find a way to tell him what happened when you get back?” Serena asked, hoping he’d agree.
“I will. I will tell King Zed. Take care now.” He patted her shoulder before leaving.
Serena watched with tearful eyes as Beta Adam also walked out through the door. She burst into tears.
“Hey, why are you crying? You are acting childish.” Anna said, walking over to her.
“Why are they leaving me behind? I feel like he is throwing me away. What did I do wrong? I might have done something wrong. Maybe- maybe with yesterday’s lunch or dinner.
But he loved them both. Why is he leaving me here now? I don’t know anywhere here. What should I do? What can I possibly do here? I feel now that he brought me here purposely for these. What should I do? I might not be able ever to see my brother again.” Serena cried out.

Beta Adam steps outside and enters the car.
“How is she?” King Zed asked.
“Not cool at all. Serena thinks you are punishing her. Maybe I should have explained things to her first. Should-I-. should I go back and explain, your Highness?” Beta Adam asked.
“No. Leave her. She’ll come to learn herself. It’s better that way,” King Zed said, sighing.
“Yes, Your Highness. You are right.”
“Hey, drive.” He said to the driver who was waiting for orders.

Serena laid down on the sitting sofa in the sitting room, still thinking about what she had done wrong. What task King Zed could have possibly given her to accomplish.
Anna walked down the stairs and to her. “Hey, are you sleeping?” Anna tapped her.
“If you aren’t sleeping, then you should stand up. There is a car outside. It might be him, or the person he said is coming to pick you up.” Anna said to Serena.
Serena lazily got up from the sofa, and they both walked outside. A woman stepped out of the red car parked around the garage, and the lady stepped down from the vehicle. She walked majestically to them with a slight smile on her face.
She sniffed Serena’s wolf out and turned to face her. “I suppose you are the one I’m here for, Serena. You are Serena, right?” She asked.
“Yes. I am. Who are you?” Serena answered.
Carolina flashed a smile at her before bringing out her hand for a handshake.
“King Zed sent me to you. Are you ready for me to accompany you?” Carol said.
“Yes, yes,” Serena took her hand and shook it.
“So, I was told by King Zed to give you a make-over first. Should we start tonight, or should I come to pick you up early tomorrow morning?” Carol inquired.
Serena turned to look at Anna in confusion. “Wait, What? A Makeover? Are you who I think you are? Are you Carolina West? The beauty Fashionista?” Anna shrieked out her question.
Carolina smiled at her. She turned to focus on Serena again.
“You should get ready for me tomorrow. I’ll send a car to you. I’ll leave now,” she bowed a bit, turned and walked back to her car, then drove off.
What is it about getting me a Makeover artist? What are you thinking? King Zed.
