Writer’s POV
Facing the mall was a fancy English restaurant, so Kate suggested they go there to talk.
Issac agreed, a suspicious look in his face as he sat down with her at a table.
“The bill is on me since I brought you here. What would you like to eat?” Kate asked, smiling softly.
“Nothing. I don’t want anything from you, please get to the reason you called me here.” Isaac frowned, pushing away the menu at the table.
Kate shifted uncomfortably, but the smile remained as she called for a waitress who took her order of two bottles of red wine before leaving.
There was an awkward silence as they waited for the waitress to return, and when she did, she dropped it gently along with two wine glasses before leaving once more.
“So, are you gonna open that?” Kate asked, opening the bottle before pouring it’s red content to her glass, her stern eyes watching Isaac who said still. She sighed, pouring a glass for him too.
“Cheers?” She took her cup to him but he ignored again, his eyes flashing in anger but she didn’t back down. Isaac scowled before clicking his glass to hers before they both took a sip. A victorious smile on Kate’s lips.
“So, you aren’t with Serena this time. I’ve seen you two together, twice. At the mall.” Kate started, twirling her wine in the cup.
“Just get straight to the point, Kate.” Isaac demanded impatiently.
“Do you like my sister? You know she is my sister right?” Kate questioned, her eyes not leaving the cup in her hand.
“Of course I do. Our bond is very strong, we tell each other the truth.” She heard him drop his glass on the table, before meeting his eyes. A fierce determination laid in those hazel eyes of his.
“You tell each other the whole truth? What has she been telling you about me then?” Kate inquired.
“That you are the worst sister on earth. That you suck, that you are actually hiding an ugly face behind that heavy makeup and expensive designer wear.” Issac said, a smirk lifting his lips when shock filled her features at his response.
She never really expected him to say things like that. Probably because Serena never spoke ill of anyone, irrespective of what the person might have done to her.
So where had he gotten all these assumptions of her?
Kate smiled, picking her glass again and taking a sip before chuckling, amusement danced in her eyes.
“Truth is, this won’t be the only time we would get to meet like this again. I do see you often, Isaac.
I know you come to the mall mostly every weekend. Sometimes you come alone, sometimes you come with a taller blond guy and sometimes you come with a red haired girl or even a yellow haired girl.” Kate started to say, pinning him with an amuse stare that Isaac returned.
“Oh I see, you have been watching me, so this isn’t about Serena, is it?” Issac chuckled, leaning against the table, his face a few inches from hers.
“Yes, not about her.” Kate confirmed, smirking at him.
Issac chuckled again knowing where she was really heading to. He could read Kate like an open book. As much as she tried to mask her emotions, he could see through the fake gleam in her eyes.
“So you like me, is that it?” Isaac asked, shifting backwards to relax in his seat, his smirk matching that of Kate.
“Sort of.” She replied, sipping her drink once more, her gaze not leaving Isaac as she watched him intently from the brim of her glass.
Issac laughed. This was interesting.
Should I just use this opportunity to teach her a lesson not to mess with Serena anymore?
Maybe I should but once I get Serena out of the castle we would move far away from here and she wouldn’t like me taking revenge for her.
So that part isn’t going to work. Let me be plain, I can embarrass her then just walk away but that will be so foolish of me.
But I can still do that. Isaac smirked, his gaze fixed keenly on the model.
“So, you want to date me? Did you even care to know if I’m dating your sister or not. You really don’t care, do you?” He asked, watching Kate drop her glass, her tongue ran over her lips.
“I don’t.”
“Well it’s a pity, Serena could have cared. She is very caring and lovely.” Isaac pouted playfully but Kate only rolled her eyes.
“Please can you stop mentioning her in our conversations, please?” Kate asked annoyance, lacing her voice.
“Tell me why you hate her.”
“I.. hate her? Is that what she told you?” Kate asked in shock.
“Well, don’t you? Tell me, you hate your sister because your mom died giving birth to her. Ironic isn’t it? That is the mere reason you couldn’t support her in anything she did. Every good opportunity that comes her way you make sure to snatch it, constantly reminding her that she killed your mother.
But you forget that she was only a baby, she has no power whatsoever to harm. You forget that she also lost a mother and a father too. You forget that she was an orphan with nobody else in the world but you, and then you constantly abuse her. What kind of a human does that to their own blood sister?
Are you even a human being? Human beings from my own description are kind, forgiving and loving. You aren’t a human so what are you, Kate?
A young lady like you with so much hate in her heart. You even thought I was your sister’s boyfriend, you wanted to snatch me away from her. So you could own everything and she will have nothing.
Is that how you have been taking all her friends and true lovers away? Oh, I shouldn’t ask. That is what a lady with so much hate and envy in her heart will do.
Everytime you cause your sister tears, blaming her for what she knows nothing of. You don’t feel remorseful at all. Everytime you see her broken, that makes you feel happy.
You knew you were the only one she had left and you took advantage of it and broke every spirit she had, turning her into this puppet that did your every command.” Isaac was saying, anger sparked in his eyes and a few people started to turn in their direction.
“I’ve met a lot of ladies in this lifetime but your type, I’ve never seen before. You are a devil, and I don’t want to get involved with you.
I love your broken sister more, I will help build her up again while you try so hard to get up to her level.” Isaac concluded before rising up to his feet, and walking out of the restaurant without as much as a second glance, except to throw a wad of cash on the table.
Kate was dumbfounded, as she watched Isaac leave, her lips frozen shut. She couldn’t speak, nor could she blink. Even when the tears started to run down her face, she didn’t blink them back, didn’t wipe them away.
She could feel the gazes of the customers’ boring hole into her body and shame filled her.

King Zed sat comfortably at his office in the castle and suddenly felt the urge to see Serena and request for a coffee.
The first time he tasted the coffee she made, the exact taste reminded him of the one his mother used to make for him as a kid, years ago when she was still alive.
So he mind linked his Beta, Adam, demanding that coffee be brought to his office.
He received the reply that Serena wasn’t in at the moment, but someone else could make the coffee for him.
He frowned, refusing it and asked that Serena be brought back to the castle at once.
Adam receiving the order sent the guard again to go search the mini mansion while he headed for Serena’s new room in case she was there.
After searching for twenty minutes and still not finding her, he requested that Isaac be called. Adam, who had also heard the rumour that Serena was Isaac’s sister, didn’t bother to confirm it.
As Isaac started to head back to the estate, his phone rang in his pocket, snatching him from his thoughts from earlier today.
“Hey man. Is Serena with you?” Kendrick’s voice came over the phone as Adam stood beside him, glaring impatiently.
“Nope, any problem?” Isaac asked, taking a sharp turn, as the estate came to view.
“Yes, there is. Your sister is nowhere to be found.” Kendrick said, sighing tiredly.
Isaac pulled the car to a halt, pressing the phone against his ear as confusion filled his features.
“Wait, what?” He asked, not letting Kendrick respond before he spoke again.
“She is not there? Then where is she? I’m sure I left her in her room earlier today. And even u git back and didn’t see her therez I assumed she might have been with the Alpha.”
“No. No. The king never called her, man. He just asked her to make him coffee a few minutes ago but she isn’t around here. You need to get back here fast.” Kendrick said before ending the call, and turning back to Adam.
“Where the hell is this girl?” Adam grunted angrily, eyes darting across the compound.
“Seems like the girl is hell bent on making us suffer today.”
“Go to the CCTV room and check the footage of when she left her room and where she was headed next.” Adam ordered, leaving Kendrick to report back to the Alpha.
He got to the office and knocked, a tight knot forming at the pit of his stomach and fear started to run down his spine.
“Come in now!” He heated the Alpha yell from the other side of the room.
“Where is she?” The Alpha asked, rising to his ferry and taking a threatening step towards his Beta.
“We.. we are trying to find her your Highness. We don’t know where she went.” Adam replied in a shaky voice, steeping backwards as the temperature in the room dropped.
“How is that possible? How can a little tiny wolf escape the guards?!” A deadly aura filled the room, almost choking the life out of Adam who was struggling to stay standing.
“Your Highness we’ll find her, we’ll find her.”
“I’m giving you all 30 minutes to find and bring her to me. 30 minutes!” King Zed yelled, turning his back to Adam who sprinted out of the room, shutting the door behind him.
He started to cough, his hands and knees trembling when a drop of blood fell from his nose as he coughed into his hand, blood staining his palm too.
“Oh no, please. Not again.” He whispered fearfully.
The king’s angry aura had filled the whole castle, suffocating the wolf within him. He was angry, and everyone knew.
They trembled at the anger of their king, they feared they would die, because he was too powerful, he could hardly control his emotions.
And the demons in him had been set loose.
Adam went to the CCTV control room and demanded the footage that had been gathered. A computer screen that showed Serena leaving her room played.
“After Isaac left her room, she left a few minutes later and went to the garage.
There is no camera inside the garage so we weren’t able to detect where she went next. But the camera here shows that she hasn’t left the garage till now.
The guards are searching the garage right now too but nothing. Her scent is very weak over there.” Steve, a guard responsible with the CCTV explained, pointing at the empty garage that housed all of the king’s luxurious cars.
“Then she must have sneaked into a car, the trunk or something.” Adam said, resting against the table to think.
“Yes, we suspected that too but then the only vehicle that has left the castle is the one Issac uses.” Steve explained.
“Oh great! Isaac, the brother. Where is Isaac now?” Adam questioned, pushing off the table eagerly.
“He just arrived at the castle a few minutes ago.”
“Bring him to me, he needs to answer a lot of questions.” Adam said before leaving the room and heard for the sitting room.
It was another minute before Isaac walked in, confusion filled his face, as he looked around expecting Serena to walk out any moment.
“Your sister left here with you, Issac, but the guards at the gate only saw you leaving. Does it mean you sneaked her out or she tricked and followed you out on her own?” Adam demanded, when Isaac’s gaze found him.
“I honestly don’t know. I’m as confused as you are.” Isaac answered.
