“Hey, catch hold of her. She must not escape.” Jude barks as the light in the pack house start to shine and dim simultaneously. I run towards the main gate and to jerk it open, I notice that I need a witch power. Jude smirks as he comes near me. Other pack members, those on the field, those in the rooms, those preparing to go hunting, those celebrating their mates, all gather behind Jude and the heaving of sighs blare this whole pack.
“Don’t come nearer…” My lips quaver and I shift backwards as Jude approaches.
“Dear, we are not going to hurt you.” Jude says, sounding unbelievably cool. “We just need you to get me my mate through the map.”
“No.” I look back and I breathe in, noticing that it only needs few inches back to get to the gate and jerk it open.
“Don’t make the Alpha annoyed. What is your problem?” One of the member shouts at me from the back. Only him.
“I know it is you, Mike.” I say, and move bits backwards again.
“Rose, do you know what? We will give you the best treatment ever. Don’t try to escape…” He tells me but stops abruptly. Instead, Mile completes his statement.
“… because you can’t. You just can’t.” They all chuckle and Jude approaches with more steps coupled with frightening and loud thuds.
“Go back into the room.” His voice comes out like a forghon and I have no other option.
“I’ll go. But send your members back to their places.” I tell him.
“What if you try to escape again?” Mike asks, coming towards us.
“Just do what I said!” I yell at Jude, and cover my ears with both palms.
“Alright. Let all pack members return to where they were.” Jude orders, and they all obey. Even his other Betas maybe the second in rank Beta, Romeo, leaves.
“Mike, what do you want? You can also leave.” I shout at him but he doesn’t budge.
“Tell him to leave.” I face Jude with a red eye. He stares at me, unbelievably. Spark is controlling me right now, if I get angry, I’ll only bring Spark out of me.
“Mike, we will talk.” He winks at Mike, and he goes away with rough thuds on the ground.
“So, why do you want to see only me?” He asks, his eyes peering straight into mine.
“Because.” I reply.
“You know what, this won’t work. You can’t escape.” He smirks.
“Let’s go to my room.” He adds, and takes my hands into his as we head straight into the room.
UNKNOWN’S POV
Suddenly, all pack members shriek and yell at the top of their voices, leaving me in the dark. The illumination goes dim and all members run towards an area. I drop what I’m doing, and it disappears. Surely, neither a vampire or wolf is trying to escape. I must get this person and contact her if she can help me look for my missing relative. I do not leave where I am, I only sit and relax. This gives me free space to shift. I shift into my paranormal being and try to mind link who is escaping. It tries to go through but it doesn’t since the Alpha of this pack raises his voice, and stops the person’s mind link immediately. I need to see this person, where is she? My paranormal being sees other pack members coming and it quickly gives me back the control as I run into the dark room to put on some clothes. Getting there, I grab hold of a diary titled WITCHES DIARY. The one trying to escape must have left this behind without her knowledge. I pick it up and wrap it into my pocket. I creak the door open but jam it shut immediately I see the Alpha and someone approaching. Thank goodness they are heading to his room and not here. If the Alpha meets me here, I’m dead already. After they brush past this room, I gently open this door and tiptoe outside. I was kidnapped from my pack into this pack since my pack was ruined and annihilated. Half of my fellow members in my previous pack joined this pack as well and the other half flee with the Alpha. As I get out of the room, my feet thud even though I’m just tiptoeing and someone immediately bumps into me.
“Hey, what did you do?” He raises his voice but I try to shush him and since he doesn’t respond to shushing, I pretend to be sick.
“Aah… My stomach, my stomach.” I grab my stomach hard but my intention is to make sure the diary doesn’t fall. After all, I’ve got no stomach ache.
“Oh oops. May I summon the doctor?” He says, shakily.
“Oh no, don’t.” I respond. “Aah… I just need to use the restroom.”
“You’re sure?” He responds, and helps me up. He feels something in my pocket and he sighs.
“What’s inside your pocket?” He asks, questioningly. “What did you take from that room?”
My eyes bulge and sweat trickles down my forehead to my nose as I stare at him in disbelief and not knowing what to say. I clear him off of the road with a kick and I run towards the rest room. I enter the rest room and jerk the door shut at once.
“Hey, open the door! I’ll report to the Alpha if you don’t.” He yells at me but slightly.
“Open the door right now.” He knocks hard, and I notice an object creeping towards me – just like a bat but it isn’t. I am becoming scared, I run towards it and hit it with my feet. Instead of hearing crunching or crumbling sound, my feet rather get stuck on the object. I try to detach it but it only gets tougher. I sigh and signal to the person at the door to break in and save me. He replies, “How?”
“Just your wolf.” As I say that, his wolf thrusts out of his body and destroys the glass door with one claw. He changes into his human form and detaches my legs from the object.
“You have taken what you should not have even peeped on, that’s why this object is here with you. Better thank me, what if I didn’t yell and run after you?”
“Thank you. But I didn’t stare at a lady’s naked body. What do you mean?”
“Let’s talk.” He says, and jerks me towards one of the walls.
“We have to escape. First, we destroyed this door.” He points at the shattered glass door.
“Second. We both are wolves, and not vampires. Vampires will keep bullying us.” He adds.
“The Alpha is looking for his mate through the map. If he doesn’t get it, he might have to drink our blood, you know, vampires drinking wolves’ blood, it happens.” I support him, and he nods.
“So, how do we escape?” He asks and something diverts our attention. We face back immediately and we see a female wolf twerking with all energy. Worst still, she puts off her clothes and starts to rotate her buttocks up and down.
“What is all this?” I ask the guy, but he seems confused too. The lady turns her face to us and we notice that she’s nude all way down.
“Oh my goodness.” The guy turns his back to the lady but I don’t. I move towards her and she sends suggestive looks at me. A second to grab her waist, and cuddle her with all rising hormones and she separates into two. The two bodies enter my nostrils and I land on the ground with a loud thud. The diary falls out from my pocket, and the pages flip open. The guy comes near me and start to shift so as to heal me.
“No, don’t.” I tell him. “I only feel better, not worse. I feel my memory is being restored. I feel courage within me.”
His eyes and mind meet and go straight to two sentences in the diary.
“Wolves act opposite to live.”
“They benefit from it immensely.”
We both gulp down the saliva in our throat, and we resume our works as though nothing is happening but deep down in our mind, we have a plan. And that is to escape.
escape.
