“Yes, actually.” A slurry voice emanates from the inner part of the thick bush, me and Greg stare at the direction, waiting impatiently for the speaker.
“Rogues are meant for rogues!” The voice yells again.
“I agree with you.” This time, it is more aggressive.
“Who’s that?” I ask Greg who is drooling because of his open mouth.
“I also don’t know.” He replies. “Come, let’s escape.” He attaches my arms to his shoulders, and he carries me to his back as we run out of the thick bush. Suddenly, I drop down from his back and a wolf clutches onto his back. He doesn’t notice but I try to yell. No I can’t. My clone shuts my mouth, and places a sword on my neck.
“Where is Sophia?” She asks me.
I point with my fingers at the northern direction but she replies with digging of her claws into the nape of my neck.
“Once you befriend a Luna star, you separate.” I hear a calm tone. I remain calm.
“Your other part will do what you don’t want to do.” A husky voice continues.
“Your other part called your clone will hunt you down. But most especially the Luna Star.” A baritone voice says.
“If she gets the Luna Star and get mated to her, she will end up being you, and you will be forgotten as you will shred in pieces, all by yourself.” The first calm town says but was aggressive in the last words.
“Your duty is to protect the Luna Star.” They both say. I nod, and it clears off immediately. I see my clone turning her eyes into gold, trying to mind link Greg. I stand up immediately but she gives me a hit with the sword. I bleed as I land on the ground with a loud thud.
“I’ll help you.” Debe jerks me alive.
I can’t believe my eyes. Debe will help me? I’ve done a lot for her. A lot to her. All bad. One of which is disallowing her to come out of me, always.
“Thank you, Debe.” She says, and suddenly possesses my body. She repeats as she moves me about.
“Where is Spark?”
My clone turns to Spark immediately, and reaches out to drag Debe’s jaw but Debe overcomes immediately and drags her jaw instead. Spark is kinda having a hot battle with Debe, may I summon Cate? Cate is my wolf, and Debe is my Vampire.
Before Spark and Debe can start the real fight, Sophia appears in front of us. I shifted already but I can recognize her. The smell is so strong. I run away immediately to cover my body, and someone cuddles me from behind. He lifts me up, clears me off the road, and transferred me into a group of people.
Eyes midway shut, I see Ben and Robert in a beer parlour. Trying to force my eyes open, I’m being carried away into a scary box.
SOPHIA’S POV
“Who are you? At least, let me know you.” I tell my Saviour. “If we must escape together, then I must know you. The smell is really strong.”
“Are you from MoonTeam pack?” I sent on but he only gulps and stares irritably at me. “Do You…”
He slaps me hard on my chin. I retort to return the slap but he holds my hand, and tell me:
“Sophia.” He softly mutters.
“Who…” I stutter. “Are you!” I yell out.
“Yes, I’m from MoonTeam pack.”
“Really?” I smirk. “And that’s why you can slap me?”
He moves an inch back.
“Don’t you know Dylan?” I yelp at him, moving at him in large paces. He shivers and shakes his head.
“I am Dylan.” He confesses.
“Pardon?” I retort, smirking.
“Dylan is too busy for all this trash.” I add but he hugs me and sniffs the air.
“Sophia, you forgot me so soon?” He cries, shivering as he hugs me.
“Really? You’re dad? I Can’t believe my eyes.” I dart my eyeballs to and fro, as he pats my back. He loosens the hug, and points at the thick root of a tree.
“Here is where you first shifted.” He moves me near the place, and I bend down, sniffing in the caught air.
“Dad!” I exclaim. “Put on this light.” I grab a light, and turn it on. I see Dad smiling widely.
“How did you get here?” I cry. “You are so stupid, Dad.” I pout my lips, and ask him for a hug. He hugs me tightly, just laughing out his anus.
“How about mom?” I ask him.
“She’s okay.” He says, and we both walk up to the northern part of the thick bush. As we get near there, I hear the silent growls of Wolves and Bats.
“Dad. Wolves. Bats.” I clip, and Dad nods. He forms a fist, and shows me. I send him a high-five. He smiles. I see an object with flapping wings. This must be Rose. Oh gosh, how nude! She must have shifted, and her clothes tore apart. I see a wolf. No, not a wolf. Before I can call Rose to save, she hides behind a tree and disappears. The one-eyed dark grey wolf or vamp? winks at me, and I instinctively look up to Dad. He holds me tighter, and pushes me to a different direction.
“Dad!” I yell.
“Daughter!” He says, giving Rose’s clone a leg kick. She has shifted back to being my friend’s clone. I can’t see the one eye dark grey object. It is her.
“Did you even read the book I gave to you?” He asks me, and I remember immediately.
“Oh no!” I yelp.”Let’s get outta here!” I scream, and Dad helps me up.
We run out of the thick bush as Rose’s clone does too, with all her energy.
I hold Dad’s shirt tightly, and we run with all of our strength.
I’m still wondering how we have not been caught by the clone since she has turned to her Vamp – the one-eyed , while running after us.
“That’s why I gave the book to you.” He splutters, running very quickly. “You can delay the time of being chased.”
“How, Dad?” I reply, with a quavering voice. “She’s almost here.”
“Torchlight.” He says, and slows down.
“What?” Don’t know when I said this.
“Let the light remain fixed on your hindhead, she will Never catch up with you that way.”
“Oh” I exclaim. “Interesting.”
I do as he said, and we get to where a car is parked.
“Dad, the light’s off.” I tell him. He doesn’t reply. He gets into the car immediately. And as the clone almost grabs my shredded shirt, the lower lights of the car boom. The clone staggers at first, struggling to come over get me. I enter the car at once.
The car Dad drove me in while we came to shift. No, only me. Dad drives out of the bush, and gets a mindlink immediately.
“Boss, where are you?” The mindlink is familiar. Thank goodness though I can’t mindlink but I can hear mindlinks.
“I carried a rogue on my back. I thought it was my mate.” He adds but Dad keeps mute.
“Please!” He yells. I nudge Dad to respond but he continues driving.
“Do you have a friend?” Dad asks me.
“Yes, I have.” I reply.
“And what’s the name?” He asks again, swerving to a busy road.
“Umm…” I chuckle. “Why do you want to know?” I smirk.
“Don’t be annoying. Hey, fast!”
“Rose.” I say, and bite my lower lip. “Rose Albert.”
“She is in real danger.” Dad affirms.
“What?” My heartbeat increases in it’s race.
“She has been abducted by herself.” He finally says, and drives crazily into a parking lot. I try to open the door to get out but an hand waves to me from the edge of the house.
“Where are we?” I hide my emotions, and ask.
“Home.” He says, and comes down from the car.
“Home?” I ask, confounded. “Home?”
Oh My Jesus! The Bat, Secret Mom, Boring Days, Busy Dad. No Rose, no roommates. No Ben. No Robert.
Wait, no Max too? No, I can’t be home now!!!!
“Dad, home?” I ask again.
“Seems you need a therapy.” He places his hand on my neck to feel my body temperature but he shakes his head and head onto the sitting room. I can hear mom’s voice reflecting. I wrinkle my forehead, and think of a way of escape.
