Sophia’s POV
“This is the best time to get my mate.” Rose’s clone says, as I notice her eyes turn dark green and blue, then back to normal again. She wants me to be her mate, why?
Well, I might benefit from it. I am being lowered into the pit. She should raise me up again, saving me from hitting my head on any hard object. But she doesn’t. She smirks and soon turns it into a grin. When she sees that I hold onto an object for support, she smirks again, and walks up to me. She shakes off the dust that holds what I’m holding onto, and I shake, almost dropping into the pit.
“Help, please!” I yell, my face being swept away by dust. I can hardly breathe. Where is the real Rose? She should come save me. She smirks again, and mutter before her last, “No one would save you.”
She hits my hand and I fall into the pit with a loud thud. She runs away thereafter. I didn’t hit my head on any hard object but still, I am hurt. Spews of blood again. Like when mum dropped me on the tiles while I was still home. I shake my head, and face a different side. Immediately, I grab hold of a stuck marble. If not, I would have fallen into the next stage. The pit is in stages. I sigh as I stare at it. How will I get out of here? Barely two minutes, I hear yells of someone like Rose. Rose? The real Rose I mean.
“Sophia!!!” She yells. “Where are you?”
ROSE’s POV
This motherfucking idiot has left me alone in this weirdo building. I thought this is a penthouse, not knowing it is her cage. I rise up immediately, and I sight her pushing Sophia into a pit. I try to run afterwards but my feet stumps on an object and I fall. I rise again, with a frowning face, and I soon catch up with my clone.
“Back off.” I hear a gasping mutter from behind, as I try to open the pit.
“Who is that?” I reply, slowing raising up my head, and I sight a dark grey eye. One. On a Vampire’s soul. Oh dammit! It’s a Vampire!
Yay! I know bout them. I’m an hybrid.
Garlics or torchlight? No, sunlight! Dammit, a Torchlight will also help. She comes near me and as she almost grabs my chin to start up a fight, I speed into the jungle. Goodness gracious she doesn’t speed after me. It won’t take her a minute if she does, after all, she’s in her Vampire form while I’m in my human form. I speed into the jungle and sight an object lying lazily on the ground. I hide behind a tree, and stare at him. He stretches his arms, and points out his gun. Oh, gun! Am I now at gunpoint? How to escape?
Shift.
And I do. But immediately, I shift back. I creep behind him, and grab hold of his neck. Stupid coward, he drops his gun and an object, racing deep into the jungle in view of saving his life. I pick up the second object. It is an illumination. It is blur but yes it can help!
Going back to meet my clone, and deal with her, with this. As soon as I get there, to the pit scene, she’s no longer there. Well, I won’t let Debe come out. She’s to be cool now. Let me try opening up the pit once more if I don’t get stopped this time but as I try to, I hear wolf’s gasps, and as I look back, I am face to face with the thick strands of a tree. I was dragged away! Just like that?
“You can’t save her. So, back off.” She says. I laugh at her in derision, and pick up the illumination stolen from the hunter. I move near her and she stares daggers at me. I look at the object and she looks at it too and as she makes a move to snap it from my hand, I put it on, and straight into her eyeballs.
Her eyeballs glow into a dark colour. No grey this time around, and she tries to run away but she can’t. She drops to the ground, and I move nearer cause she’s given an inch apart. I move nearer, ensuring the illumination is direct to her face still. Not her face. Her eyeballs.
“Who will hold this for me while I save Sophia?” I think but Debe doesn’t even give a suggestion. I don’t let her out, she is annoyed, I think. Well, we will go hunting if we successfully return to school.
School. Classes. Oh crap. I miss them!
My mate is somewhere here. Robert and Max and Ben smell as my mate but no I don’t want them. Not for me, and not for Sophia as well.
I don’t want them because they are not my mate actually. I don’t want them for Sophia cause she will be a great Luna leading the whole continent, if she gets mated to any of them but at the same time, I’m being protective not to let her get hurt by any of them. They are all freaking vampires.
My clone suddenly looses control, and hits herself on a soily heap, shutting her eyes afterwards. As she did, I smell a very familiar scent. I know this is my mate.
Who is it? Luna just spoke to me through the smell. It is so heavenly. Wait, not to talk of this! Moon goddess just spoke to me, it’s so obvious. I switch off the lights to avoid being seen, take to my heels, shaking off dust into the pit as a result of gladness. Midway getting to grab my mate, I remember that I have to save Sophia. But who cares? She won’t be hurt, let me just believe so. I reach there and hide immediately. I can see my mate being throttled by my clone. Oh, she got up so easily again? Crap!
A man suddenly grabs her from behind, and she rolls on the ground. She shifts, becomes naked, hides beside again and put on some clothes, then she comes out again. She mutters few words, and her eyeballs give another but scary colour. She is going to kill one of the two. My mate or my Saviour’s mate. I immediately switch on the torchlight again, and she slumps. She tries to rise up but can’t. I see my Saviour’s mate shifting and being embarrassed as a result of his nakedness. I chuckle a bit but try to be thankful. He saved my mate so so. Thank goodness, my clone stands up, grinning and staggering, as she rushes out of the jungle. My Saviour’s mate moves away too, quickly, and I’m left with my mate.
I go over to meet him, and before I can say Mike Jackson, he gives me a tight hug, and say: “My mate. Thank goodness I found you.”
