“We will call you again when we need your attention.” Robert tells Ben. The students are still staring at me, and I can’t help but stare at Ben.
“Luna?” I don’t know I’m saying this loud. I think it’s just a whisper.
“Sophia, you heard him.” Robert says, and i sit up. The students adjust their sitting positions too.
“He said I am his Luna. What does that mean?” I fake a confidence, mainly because of the signal from Rose.
Rose told me earlier that Ben is a Vampire though he’s an harmless one. But never will I consider him as a mate. I even have a proof, and that is when he took me to stay in his penthouse because the hostel was full that day – only God knows what he meant by “full.” And if he had tricked me, and told me that he got a text.
What was the noise I heard while in his car as well?
“It means that…” Robert clears his throat. “You are mated to him.”
My pupils increases, and my gaze do too, simultaneously.
“But I have not confirmed that he is my mate.” I reply, even though Rose’s gesticulations read that I should tell him I won’t get mated, just so blatantly.
“Girl, you have almost a year to do that.” Robert replies.
“Okay. Thank you, Sir.” I space out, and immediately, I fall into a trance. A bat with dark green eyes and curved wings flies into the classroom, and only me can see it.
Rose’s cold tap jerk me out of my scary attachment, and I look up, almost slumping.
“Sophia, it’s time to head home.” She says, and helps me up. I stand, and we walk out of the class. Other Students had gone to their various homes and or hostels.
Once we reach the front of the main door near the front desk, Robert rushes in and bumps into us. Rose frowns and curses under her breath. I almost apologize but Robert does, first.
“Sophia, let’s meet in our office.” Robert says, and jerks off Rose’s hand off my hand. Rose jerks off his hand, and attaches hers to mine while she walks me into the class again. Robert hurriedly follows us, and I can smell danger.
War? Dammit!
Rose walks me faster into the class with calculated steps, heaving of sighs, and gasping of breaths. She dumps me on a chair, and my ass hit the chair, sitting me on it even though I did not plan to.
“Stay here. And i will fight this motherfucker!” She says, turning into a vampire, and returning to her human form every now and then.
I can sense that she is annoyed. I hope Robert will calm her down. If he annoys her instead, mhen! It’s gonna be hell.
“What do you want from me?” Rose approaches Robert, and Robert moves near her. Rose moves an inch forward and so do Robert. They move near each other until the kissing level. Robert suddenly grabs Rose’s skulls, and hit it on the wall.
“You bitch! How dare you!?” Rose annoyingly pouts her lips, and gasps as she approaches Robert. Robert fumes, fumes, and fumes.
When they can no longer argue in the human form, they shift, not minding that I am present.
“Why are you restricting her from Ben, asshole?” Robert yells, and I swear, if anyone lives near the school, such will clearly hear him.
“Motherfucking shithead! Get the hell out of her life!” Rose yells back at him.
“Me?” Robert asks, and took a creeping step forward. “Motherfucking?!” He clips.
“Yes, motherfucker!!” Rose yells, and her eyes turn dark green immediately. With a loud growl escaping her lips, she grows into a monster. Her face elongates and transforms into a Vampire. I can only watch them from behind. All at once, Robert changes his physique, and grows dark furs sprouting from his backbones upwards and downwards till it fills his whole body. I can see wings shooting out of Rose’s arms, and turning into large and flappy ones.
With a sharp claw, Rose rises up a bit, and dumps her vamp physique on Robert. Robert sends her a sounding blow on her forehead but Rose doesn’t budge. I lift my face upwards a bit, and what I see pops my heart outta its socket. I look back immediately, and hold my chest to stop the unnecessary race of my heartbeat.
I can’t shift to save them. I will only get injured if I try to separate the two monsters. I hope she won’t come near me to hurt me. Besides, I don’t want to be bitten by a Vampire, so I gotta stay here, and watch them till they end up their fight.
The sounds of growls have increased. Rose and Robert have grown bigger again, and Rose darts towards his office while Robert speeds behind her.
I can hear wolves and bat’s voices outside the hall. I stand up from my seat after noticing that they have gone out. I move out of the class, darting my eyeballs forwards and backwards in the class every now and then. I move out of the class, and halt immediately I see Rose approaching with blood-stained claws. I stare at the distant object, and in the split of a second, literally, she is near me. She screams at me, and I speed. I run out of the school’s premises, not knowing where to stay though.
Immediately I come out of the school gate, Max passes by and waves at me. I ignore his greetings, and hurry out of the compound. He strolls near me, and pats me on my shoulder.
“What!?!” I sharply face him, and yell.
“I can see that you are lost in thoughts. So I came to check up on you.” He says.
“Oh, thank you. You can go.” I blatantly reply, and he goes on his way. I wish he won’t obey, and stay with me more. His cologne fills my nostrils, and I will kill to smell like him too.
Rose taps me from behind, clutches her hands into mine, and before I can say Rose Albert, she has reached a beer parlour.
