Chapter 748 He Doesn’t Love You

Book:Mr. Brown's Sweet Wife Published:2024-5-28

Elena Bush had discovered that Logan Brown’s love language was getting better and better, and now it was doing the same, always making her blush easily without even thinking about it.
“What Fang said to Kent ……”
“You sure did eavesdrop!”
The little woman looked at him with a pout.
Logan Brown wasn’t impressed, “I was listening the whole time, you just didn’t notice me, plus I was in the room first.”
Who knew she’d suddenly dragged someone in.
“You’re still talking?” Elena Bush threatened.
Logan Brown said yes in a hurry, grabbing her hand and continuing to wipe his hair, Elena Bush let it go until it was dry which was when he tossed the towel aside.
The man then stuck his arm around her waist and asked seriously, “Did you go behind my back to see Abbie?”
This ……
Elena Bush’s heart snapped.
Logan Brown narrowed his eyes, “Say.”
“So what if I did?” Elena Bush straightened her back at the sound of his voice and straightened her face, “She asked me out, I didn’t ask her out.”
“And how dare you just go and see her?”
Elena Bush nuzzled and whispered in defence, “I wasn’t actually thinking of anything else, I just knew she must have had something in mind when she approached me, that’s why I wasn’t that worried.”
“But what if you’d angered her?”
“That’s a different story, isn’t it all right now?”
Logan Brown’s frown deepened.
Elena Bush immediately threw her arms around him and pouted, “Okay, let’s just pretend this is over and not talk about it anymore!”
“You’re trying to pretend this never happened.”
“Did it?”
She looked at him and blinked innocently at him.
Logan Brown couldn’t help it, and shook his head helplessly and laughed, “Capricious.”
“So you’re saying you don’t blame me?”
“Yeah.”
Elena Bush’s little face immediately lifted into a light smile.
Logan Brown was not so easily satisfied and tightened his grip on her waist a little, “You’re not allowed to get involved in Abbie’s business anymore, I’ll do it.”
“No!”
“Elena, stop it.” He reprimanded softly.
Elena Bush shook her head, not listening at all, “I’m not making a scene, besides you should know that Abbie is specifically trying to pull me in, how will things work out at her place if you step in?”
“Why don’t we just let Zach Stone hack into her phone and take the data?”
“Phones are a lot harder than computers!” She warned kindly.
Logan Brown lifted a hand and rubbed her cheek, “Are you questioning Zach Stone’s skills or are you trying to convince me to fix it myself?”
Lingering eyes followed, finally flashing a wry glint.
The corners of the little woman’s mouth rose and she smiled like a cat that had stolen something, “I should say …… both, then?”
Logan Brown simply loved the way she looked and couldn’t resist pressing her into his arms and bullying her for a while.
Elena Bush took advantage of his moment of hesitation to escape her embrace, not forgetting to make a face at him, “Logan Brown, this is something you did, not something I did.”
With that last statement, Elena Bush immediately fled, closing the door behind her in a flash, leaving him alone in the room.
Sure enough, Abbie couldn’t resist contacting her early the next morning.
Elena Bush, who already knew what had happened, didn’t panic and spoke up the first time she saw Abbie.
“He didn’t admit it, only I didn’t mention the photos either.”
Abbie breathed a dark sigh of relief at her words.
In any case, if Kent didn’t know about the photos, then there was still a way out.
Elena Bush took in her reaction and kept a light smile on her lips.
Abbie then remembered that there was still someone sitting in front of her and busily said, “Kent only has Blanche in his heart right now, no one else is in his sights and there’s nothing else I can do if he wants to deny our relationship.”
“You’re saying …… you want to go back to him?”
“Yes!” Abbie nodded solemnly and looked at her a little nervously, “Will you help me?”
“How can I help if he doesn’t love you?”
Elena Bush’s blunt words sent a pang through her heart.
Elena Bush looked down at her nails which had been manicured smoothly by Logan Brown, “Miss Burne, I think you know better than anyone that Kent only has Blanche in his heart and he may not listen to anything I say.”
“But you can help me!”
“And what can I help you with?”
How would she know if she didn’t say?
Abbie gritted her teeth, a flash of madness as she lifted her face again, “Elena, the reason Kent’s heart is in Blanche’s right now is actually because of the baby in her belly!”
Elena Bush’s face sank with a swish.
She hadn’t expected Abbie’s first reaction to be to put her thoughts on the baby in Blanche’s belly.
That was cruel!
“Give me your phone.” She snapped.
At that, Abbie looked wary, afraid of what she might do.
Elena Bush gave her a reassuring smile in return, “Don’t worry, I won’t do anything, I’ll just give you a contact.”
Abbie half-heartedly handed over her phone.
Elena Bush took the phone, “I don’t think the only reason Kent loves Blanche so much is because of the baby.”
“But Kent wouldn’t have married her so quickly if there were no kids!”
“That’s just your guess.”
Abbie frowned at her words, “You want to protect Blanche?”
“It doesn’t seem to matter to you who I’m defending, does it?” Elena Bush gave her a sidelong glance, her eyes cold, “Miss Burne, I never said anything to you about working together, so don’t get too cocky!”
Abbie then realised that what she had said had upset her and hastily apologised.
“I I didn’t mean to doubt you, it just just felt ……”
“Thought what? That I would let Blanche have this baby?”
Abbie didn’t answer, just that the response had indicated the answer.
Elena Bush tugged at the corner of her mouth, “Miss Burne, do you know why I married Logan Brown?”
“Why?”
She looked at her, not understanding why the subject was suddenly being talked about.
Elena Bush grinned, full of sarcasm, “Because I was robbed of my fiancé by my own sister! That’s why I chose to marry him!”
