Logan Brown and Harvey looked at each other, glanced at each other, and then both quickly moved away from each other.
Harvey jumped out of Logan Brown’s arms and immediately went looking for Elena Bush, like a pampered pet.
Elena Bush’s heart immediately melted and she took him in her arms.
Logan Brown watched the mother and son from afar, jealous and wishing he could shrink and be held in Elena Bush’s arms.
A sudden tap on his back and Kent’s sultry face immediately appeared in front of him, “What are you looking at so intensely?”
He followed the man’s line of sight, only to see both Elena Bush and Harvey.
A knowing look came over his face, “I mean, you’re not envious of that little guy, are you?”
“So what if I am?”
“Tsk……”
Kent shook his head for a moment.
Blanche reached behind him and patted him on the head, “What are you doing here, there’s a bunch of dishes on the table, get in there and wash and cut them up.”
Kent then remembered the little ancestor behind him and turned around with a playful smile and a slight bow, “Yes, I’m on my way!”
“……”
Blanche looked at him and couldn’t help but send him a direct glare.
The latter looked relaxed and at ease instead.
Blanche watched Kent enter the kitchen before smiling sardonically at Logan Brown, “Sir Brown, I’m sorry about today.”
“What?”
“If it wasn’t for me, Abbie wouldn’t have been enraged or even tried to hit Elena ……”
“It had nothing to do with you.”
“But it did have to do with me ……”
Blanche was about to say something else when Logan Brown had already raised his hand to interrupt her.
“Elena also thinks of you as one of her own, and since that’s the case, she has her own ideas, and it would be wrong of me to blame you.”
“No, it would be justifiable for you to blame me, after all, if you and Kent hadn’t appeared in time, I might not really have reacted.”
That said, Blanche was also a little guilty.
Logan Brown didn’t really take it to heart and patted her on the shoulder, “It’s okay, don’t take it personally.”
Blanche’s lips twitched and Logan Brown had returned a reassuring look that left her speechless.
Inside the kitchen, Kent called out her name.
Logan Brown released his hand and said, “Go on.”
“Mmm.”
Blanche nodded and returned a smile, “Thanks.”
Logan Brown nodded slightly, then didn’t forget to admonish, “It’s better not to let her hear those words in the future, lest they sound strange to her.”
Blanche’s movements paused, and then it dawned on her.
It was only then that she realised that the man in front of her really cared for Elena Bush.
Even to the point of envisioning friendship or otherwise in her shoes.
Kent seemed to get no answer and called out again.
Blanche didn’t have time to think about it, so she hurriedly answered and went into the kitchen.
Once inside Kent moved a stool for her to sit on and she looked at it for a moment, “What does that mean?”
“You just sit and watch me cook.”
“……”
Blanche wanted to punch someone.
“You called me in and you’re just going to let me sit there dry like this?”
She’d thought he’d yelled in such a hurry because he was thinking he was up to something, but then, surprisingly, nothing was up!
Kent stopped washing the dishes in his hands, “How could it be that simple, I just saw that you were stuck with Logan Brown. I was worried about you being bullied by him.”
After all, Elena Bush had nearly been bullied today because of Abbie, and knowing Logan Brown’s nature, he really didn’t believe he wouldn’t take it to heart.
Blanche looked down, thinking about what Logan Brown had just said and said, “You’re presuming his mind with your own vile thoughts.”
“That’s because you don’t know Logan Brown well enough.”
Logan Brown is a good person in all respects, but when it comes to Elena Bush, he’s a mess, he doesn’t even recognise his relatives. ……
Blanche was silent for a moment before looking up and laughing, “No, it’s you who doesn’t know him well enough.”
They all thought he was cold, but ignored that he was a normal person too.
Kent crouched down to be level with her, “Was it something he said on the side?”
“It’s not because of that either, it’s because I think …… he really cares about Elena Bush enough to not be mad at us.”
Because ……
Elena Bush treated them like they were family, like they were friends.
“Little fool.” Kent tried to touch the top of her head, but his hands were damp and he just withdrew his movement.
Blanche arched her eyes, “Actually, after all the years you’ve known Logan Brown, you should know what kind of person he is, and while he’ll get angry, he won’t really do anything.”
“Hey!”
“What’s wrong?”
Blanche was saying when Kent had cut her off.
Kent wiped his hands quickly and held her face a little sulkily, “Blanche, I’d be jealous if you complimented another man like that in front of me!”
“You’re jealous?” Blanche laughed out loud.
“For saying it like you know him so well.”
“It’s not like it matters.” Besides, she’d only just discovered this.
Kent hugged her tightly and couldn’t resist dropping a few more kisses on her forehead.
Blanche felt a pang of shyness and pushed him away, “Come on, don’t make a scene.”
“No, I just want to hug you.”
“What’s with you being a big man?”
“Why can’t a man be pampered?” Kent said with conviction.
Blanche couldn’t talk him out of it, so she threw her hands up in surrender, “Okay, okay, so do you want to cook or not?”
“Yes.”
“Then get up!”
“No!”
“……”
Blanche took one look at the large man wrapped around her body, like a large dog that couldn’t be pulled away, extremely pampered and clingy.
A small hand reached out to rub his floppy hair and whispered, “Even if I don’t eat, the baby in my belly has to eat!”
At that, Kent finally let go of his hand, only to drop another quick kiss on her pink lips with some fondness.
Blanche watched his actions with a sudden sense of laughter, “You’re putting the baby first, aren’t you?”
“No, it’s our child, you and he are both equally important.”
Blanche didn’t believe him, he didn’t even let go of his hand when he was prodding him, but he softened at the mention of the baby.
Kent cast a meaningful glance, “If you don’t believe me, we can have a good, serious discussion about this.”
