“Vincent ……”
Vincent hugged her back in the same way.
Blanche realised that he could already hold herself, and on closer inspection, the child in front of her seemed to have grown up a little and lost its youthfulness.
Vincent looked at her with a straight face, “Sis, are you going to marry Kent?”
“Yeah.” She smiled and nodded, “Do you like him?”
Vincent nodded hesitantly and then shook his head.
Blanche was a little confused and raised her hand to rub the top of his head a little curiously, “What’s wrong with you?”
“I ……”
Vincent clutched his small hand tightly, then bit his lower lip, ” I don’t want is for you to get married so young.”
“Little fool.”
Blanche burst out laughing, “I wouldn’t leave here if I did marry Kent, I’d be where he is, and I wouldn’t go without seeing you.”
Vincent shook his head and glanced at Kent beside him with a complicated look on his face.
“What’s wrong?”
She wrinkled her brow along with him, a little strangely.
Kent bent down and picked Harvey up and said, “Come on, little one, I’ll take you on the Ferris wheel!”
“I don’t want to go on something so childish! I want to go on a spaceship!”
“Okay.”
Kent gave in and turned to Blanche, “I’ll walk him around while you guys talk.”
Blanche knew he was making it a point to enable her and Vincent to talk and a pang of gratitude went through her.
She reached out and took Vincent’s hand, “It’s not convenient for us to talk here, why don’t we go somewhere and talk slowly?”
“Hmm.”
Vincent nodded and followed in her footsteps.
Blanche eventually found a quiet corner where the noise of the children could not be heard, and it was quiet.
She looked sideways at the child in front of her, a deep colour tinting her eyes, “Vincent, I should be thanking you, if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be with him.”
“Is it because of what I told you about Kent’s feelings for you?”
“Maybe.”
She looked out into the distance, “I’ve been at a loss, not to mention not knowing what I could have done or what I could have fought for.”
But it was his words that had given her the courage to take that step.
Vincent looked at Blanche’s face and genuinely felt her emotions, her joys and sorrows ……
I couldn’t help but, and the small face slowly curved up in a nice curve.
“From now on you’ll be the one who belongs to him alone.” He leaned into her arms with some reluctance.
Blanche couldn’t help but subconsciously hug him back, “Why are you starting to learn to be pampered?”
“Because I remembered that I’ve never been pampered with you before, so I wanted to be a bit of a pamperer before you became someone else’s.”
Vincent hugged her waist tighter, his voice so soft and gentle that it was almost inaudible.
He said, “Sis, you must be happy, and if you are wronged, you must tell me, even if I am still weak, but I can still protect you!”
Blanche listened, and somehow her heart ironed out.
Vincent looked up, “I don’t want to give you to him at all, but I can’t help it, you like him.”
“Why?”
“Because he always makes you sad.” Vincent sulked, “So all these years even though I knew how he felt about you I never thought to tell you, and that wasn’t just because he’d told me not to, there was something personal about it too.”
Blanche froze visibly.
The child in front of her had a gaze on his face like no other, making it impossible for her to say half the words.
“Vincent ……”
“Sis, if you can wait until I’m older, I can take good care of you.”
“How old are you?” Blanche had a look of bemusement on her face.
She reached out and patted his head, “Vincent, love will always be like that, there’s no smooth sailing, there are always painful moments, but there are also happy moments, and that joy, only the person involved can understand, you know?”
“Is that why you like him so much?”
He looked up at her and blinked his eyes.
Blanche was speechless for a moment, then shook her head, “Not only that.”
Vincent tried to press the question.
Instead she held his face and said seriously, word for word, “You’re young now, when you’re older you’ll know what feelings are like to exist, and then you’ll meet a girl you’d give anything to.”
And that person doesn’t necessarily need to be nice or perfect, as long as he likes it, that’s all that matters.
Blanche got a little complicated with what she said and confusion was written all over the little one’s face.
She shook her head and patted herself on the back, wondering what she was doing bringing this up with a child.
Vincent’s hand that was tugging at her tightened silently, “Is it really going to happen?”
“Yeah.”
This time, she didn’t hesitate to nod, “Everyone in this world is never alone, it’s just that the love of your life hasn’t appeared yet, and when she does, you’ll understand what it means.”
“Oh.”
Vincent nodded, seeming to understand, but his little head kept shrugging.
Blanche didn’t go on, just nudged him and said, “Go on, this is supposed to be your paradise, don’t let this opportunity slip away.”
“What about you?” He looked at her.
“My happiness has come.” Blanche looked somewhere, only to see the man just beyond the lights, and their eyes collided in uncanny harmony.
Vincent understood something vaguely and he hugged Blanche tightly once more, “Sis, if you’re really having a good time, then I’m sure you’ll be very happy!”
“Yeah, I’m happy right now.”
She arched her eyes and smiled extraordinarily softly.
Vincent slowly withdrew his movements before trotting off.
Seeing him walk away, Kent then led Harvey back to her, Blanche couldn’t resist pinching him again, “Tell me, what exactly are you trying to do by buying this place?”
Besides it was on this particular day.
“Every month from now on, today, this place will be specially vacated for the kids to come and visit, and for our wedding anniversary.” The man stepped forward and stopped her at the waist, his forehead resting against hers.
Blanche reached up and pushed back, blushing and pouting, “What anniversary, we’re not even married!”
The certificate hadn’t even been issued.
“Who says not married?”
“Hmm?”
She gave him an odd look.
Kent grinned, “You were mine when you agreed to marry me, and naturally, you’re my wife.”
Blanche had been with the man in front of her day and night and didn’t believe him for a second at this moment.
The puzzled eyes never moved, and Kent seemed to be frightened by the stare, immediately raising his hands in a surrendering manner and giving an honest account, “I had our marriage certificate done at nine o’clock this morning.”
“!!!”
