“Logan Brown?”
She looked around in bewilderment, unable to find the familiar figure.
Brows furrowed, she was wondering if she needed to dial his number when a whiff of Brandy came between her nostrils ……
She looked along, only to see Logan Brown walking towards her with a bouquet of white orchids in his arms.
Her heart thumped wildly a few times and she couldn’t help but miss a half beat.
“You ……”
As soon as the words left her mouth, a bouquet of flowers had fallen smoothly into her arms and Elena Bush snorted out a laugh, “When did you prepare these behind my back?”
“Just now.”
“Why didn’t I notice?” She wrinkled her brow for a moment, remembering carefully and finding that for a long time she couldn’t recall anything different about Fang.
“How could you have noticed when all you could see was me?”
“Narcissist!” She sent him a blank stare.
Logan Brown hooked his lips and reached out to lead her up from her seat.
Elena Bush subconsciously clutched the bouquet of flowers in her arms in surprise, “Is there more?”
Logan Brown looked over, a glint of meaning in his eyes, “What does Madame think?”
“How should I know?”
If she could have easily guessed what he was thinking, she wouldn’t have to be here guessing.
“We’ll find out later.” Logan Brown led her straight up to the rooftop.
The moment the lift opened, a rose-paved path appeared in front of her eyes, making her tremble a little, “Logan Brown, what are you doing?”
Why did she always feel so out of place?
“Shhh ……”
The man’s large hands closed over her eyes, directly covering them, “Come with me, I’ll tell you when we’re done.”
“So mysterious?” She muttered in a small voice, but followed her obediently.
As those hands dropped, a sea of red flowers appeared in front of her, Logan Brown turned his eyes to look at her, and the two of them locked eyes as they both stepped onto the dance floor.
Logan Brown bent slightly in a bow and held one hand out in front of her in a gentlemanly voice, “Beautiful lady, may I invite you to a dance?”
“Of course!” She responded graciously and dropped her hand into his.
As soon as the two of them moved, the long, beautiful waltz started to play.
Elena Bush was not a very good dancer, but with Logan Brown’s careful guidance she made no mistake.
Turning, she fell into his arms with ease.
Elena Bush arched her eyes and couldn’t help but say, “Mr Brown, I’m curious to see what else is next.”
It was a surprise to her that this man, who hadn’t been very affectionate in the past, would suddenly do something like this, and she wondered who had instigated it.
The man hooked his lips and smiled, “Then your ladyship will wait.”
“Yes!”
The song ended and Logan Brown looped his arm around her waist and tenderly dropped a kiss on her pink lips.
“Snap!”
The sound of the jewellery box opening caused her eyes to open and look at ……
Logan Brown slowly released her and dropped to one knee, taking her hand in one hand.
“This, you ……”
It was an unfolding she hadn’t expected in its entirety, and her beautiful eyes flashed with confusion and disbelief.
Logan Brownmonica’s looked at her word for word, “Four years ago, I gave you a wedding but owed you a proposal.”
“That’s why you ……” Elena Bush could not have imagined that this was something he had kept in the back of his mind.
“I’ve envisioned giving you back a romantic proposal countless times before, but we’ve been through so much between us. I couldn’t get down on my knees to you when I first met you ……”
Elena Bush’s heart shook and her eyes went half red.
She had never thought about it, let alone cared, but Logan Brown he ……
The smile in Logan Brown’s eyes deepened, and his grip on her hand tightened slightly, “Then I was able to stand up, but I didn’t expect the baby to come so suddenly that you and I weren’t prepared.”

But now, he could finally give her a proposal that he owed her for over four years ……

“I’m serious too.” The little woman crouched down to be level with him.
Logan Brown looked at her and didn’t move for a long time.

Elena Bush clasped his hand and laughed softly, “What, you’re nervous even at times?”

Logan Brown laughed, and the next second her body was held tightly in his arms to keep her from seeing her embarrassment at the moment.
“Elena, you really are the best gift God has ever given me.” The man’s voice was low, but she could hear it loud and clear!
“I think so too.” Elena Bush hugged him “Sometimes I wonder what’s so great about me that you fell for me back then.”
It was clear …… that they had only been a one-night stand and he had every reason to push her away.
But he, instead, had chosen to reach out to her and pull her up from the depths of hell.
“Who knows?” Logan Brown himself was in a trance.
“How could you not know?” She slammed an elbow directly into the small of his back.
Logan Brown shook his head, “Maybe …… it was the sight of your helpless and resilient defiant eyes when I woke up that drew me in and made me unable to move ……”
But who knows, that one look is a lifetime.
Or maybe it was all meant to be, after all, who can say when it comes to destiny?
Elena Bush hooked her lips in satisfaction and buried her face in his arms again, “Logan Brown, thank you for being there for me all these years.”
She thought that she would never have learned to be so strong without him.
