Unconvinced, Logan Brown clasped his large hands around her waist and whispered with his thin lips against her ear, “Jealousy is a sign of taking your ladyship to heart, and your ladyship cannot wrong me.”
“And you’re sophomoric?” Elena Bush pouted.
But her ears were red, the man always knew where her soft spot was.
Logan Brown continued to fondle her earlobe, in a good mood.
Harvey looked at his mom almost conceding defeat and immediately burrowed into her arms straddling the two, Logan Brown’s hand touching a small fluffy head.
“Harvey Brown!!!” The man gritted his teeth and looked at him.
Harvey immediately stuck his tongue out at him and then hid behind Elena Bush saying, “Mommy, look Daddy …… bullied you and now he’s bullying me.”
Logan Brown had a headache as the little one spoke so pitifully.
Elena Bush looked at the two of them as if they were about to fight each other again and hastily interrupted the dispute.
Mia came out of the upstairs room just in time, and without blinking, Logan Brown tossed him to Mia and took Elena Bush by the hand.
With Mia in his arms, Harvey could only watch as his favourite mummy was abducted by his bad daddy again.
Logan Brown walked at a steady pace, Elena Bush at his side, he big legs having recovered. But if you look closely, you can vaguely see that his right foot is always a little sluggish.
All of them knew this, but no one made a point of mentioning it, and Logan Brown didn’t want to hear her mention it, because, he was afraid she would be distressed.
“Where to?” Elena Bush sat comfortably, waiting for him to finish buckling her seat belt before speaking.
“To G City.”
“G City? Now!?” Elena Bush subconsciously unbuckled her seatbelt almost immediately, “What about Harvey if we go?”
According to his nature, he doesn’t seem to be a man who stays at home.
“Don’t worry, keep him at home just to teach him a little lesson, just ask Jacob to take him to the airport later.”
The man stared ahead, gripping the steering wheel with one hand and taking her hand in the other.
Thin lips parted in a light smile, “Besides, I don’t want to take even that much of your personal time and mine away from him.”
Elena Bush grimaced, “So in the end, aren’t you still angry with him? He’s so young.”
“You can’t treat him like a child.” Logan Brown said meaningfully.
He knew more about him than she did.
Elena Bush blinked her eyes and looked at him in confusion.
Logan Brown let go of her hand and hit the steering wheel, “The little guy is a lot shrewder than you think, and there’s no telling what might happen if you really believe his innocent look.”
“Is that so?” Elena Bush looked dubious.
Logan Brown just swept her off her feet and didn’t pick up the conversation.
Elena Bush leaned back against the car window and within moments was drifting off to sleep.
It was only when Logan Brown woke her up that she came to her senses. Harvey had been dropped off at the airport by Jacob and had just seen Elena Bush and was about to pounce on her when Logan Brown took him in his arms with one long hand and easily restrained him.
With his other hand he took Elena Bush and said, “Come on, it’s time to board.”
Harvey refused, his feet fluttering, “Daddy let go of me, I want Mummy to hold me!”
“Mummy’s tired, don’t toss her around.” Logan Brown’s voice was stern and he didn’t budge.
Harvey listened and immediately behaved.
Logan Brown patted his little head, “You is grown up, don’t always think about clinging to my woman, go find your own Monica if you can.”
“Well ……”
Harvey was gagged for words.
If he could cheat on monica, he wouldn’t need to cling to Elena Bush to piss him off.
Zach Stone was good at everything, but he cherishes his baby girl too much and is afraid that she will be taken by someone at a young age.
Although Sophia always resented him for it.
Harvey was silent for a while and when he reacted, he was already on the plane, sitting in his seat he looked around for a moment before saying, “Daddy, where are we going?”
“To see Grandma.”
“Grandma?”
The little one has been to the G city since he was born, but every time he goes there and comes back he can’t remember, so I guess he was only one or two years old at the time, it’s only right that he has no memory.
But since the little one had learned to speak he had become more astute than anyone else, remembering everything clearly, which made her happy and worried.
Elena Bush took his hand in hers and nodded, “Harvey went there as a child oh, only it was all gone so quickly that he never got to talk to his grandmother properly.”
“Did you?”
Harvey took her hand in his in the same way.
Elena Bush hooked her lips and couldn’t help but follow up her look with a light smile at the little one’s appearance.
Harvey leaned over her arm with a curious look on his face, “Mummy, what does Grandma look like?”
“Her?”
Elena Bush recalled carefully, the rest of her eyes fell on the rigid angles of the man beside her, and the smile under her eyes deepened immediately afterwards, “She was a very gentle woman, and very strong ……”
She thought that the woman who could have educated Logan Brown so successfully, even if she hadn’t spent time with her, she could imagine what it would have been like to have her around.
Logan Brown turned to look at her at her words, “Elena, I remembered a piece of news that I never seemed to tell you.”
“What news?”
She looked over and was caught off guard when she met the man in his deep pupils.
“Edward Ford contacted me a few days ago.”
Logan Brown said, his large hand gripping hers to deny her the chance to escape, “He said …… he’d moved Joanna Lake’s grave, finally settling on the same cemetery as her mother… …”
“Joanna Lake!?”
Elena Bush sucked in a breath, almost thinking she had heard wrong, “How could Edward Ford possibly say yes?”
It’s not possible by any stretch of the imagination ……
“Nothing is impossible, besides he’s kept Joanna Lake captive in the Fords long enough, it’s time to set her free ……”
Logan Brown’s voice was soft, so soft that only she could hear it.
Elena Bush squeezed his hand tighter, her little face following suit as she buried herself in his chest and whispered back, “Logan Brown, thank you ……”
She knew better than anyone else how important Joanna Lake was to Edward Ford and how hard it was to get him to say yes this time, but Logan Brown did it after all!
