Elena Bush laughed out lowly, without the slightest fear on her face, instead she closed her eyes calmly,”In that case, just kill me and save your heart from going soft.”
“Soft-hearted? To you?”
Jacqueline burst out laughing, “Elena Bush, what are you talking about? The only person in this world I wouldn’t go soft on is you! Better yet, I simply hate to kill you!”
“Then why are you hesitating?”
Elena Bush asked rhetorically, her starry eyes flashing sharply, “You’ve stayed by my side for so long and I’ve never rejected you, you could have just done it to me, there was no need to work so hard to make me faint and send me here again!”
“Elena Bush, have you forgotten? I have more than one enemy ……”
Jacqueline looked at her slyly, the dark light that bloomed in her eyes more than she could ignore.
Elena Bush’s heart fluttered as a sudden memory struck her, causing her to blurt out, “Jacqueline, don’t even think about it! Logan Brown and I are divorced and have not had a single relationship for a long time, and he won’t listen to you!”
“Is that so? That’s not necessarily the case.” Jacqueline was still smiling, watching the more anxious she became, the more joyful her heart became, “Elena Bush, I’d love to show you how ridiculous you really are in this state of your own!”
“Jacqueline!”
“Don’t lie to me.” Jacqueline interrupted her defence, “”I’ve been at the Fords for a long time and know everything about you, about Edward Ford and Logan Brown, so don’t try to fool me with your one-sided story!”
Elena Bush clenched her teeth in a death grip, hatred bursting from the bottom of her eyes.
“But even so, you won’t get away with it. Do you think Logan Brown would see you for me? Or, do you think Logan Brown would sacrifice anything for me?”
She sneered deliberately, trying to get her mind off Logan Brown’s.
But Jacqueline was already familiar with both of them, so how could she possibly be fooled?
Jacqueline laughed with a grim smile, “Elena Bush, instead of talking here, why don’t you think about what you’re going to say to Logan Brown when you see him? …”

Elena Bush shook her head, her heart nearly in turmoil over Logan Brown.
She squeezed her palms tightly, trying desperately to suppress the unease she felt and ground her teeth, “Jacqueline, you won’t find Logan Brown, you have to know that I’m in the Fords, Edward Ford’s daughter, and Edward Ford will keep the news down if he knows I’m missing anyway!
So she could only console herself that Logan Brown wouldn’t know anything about her ……

Elena Bush’s eyes flashed and she immediately nodded, “Yes …… he has abandoned me, so do you think he will really listen to you?”
“That’s not necessarily true .” Jacqueline grunted, “Even so, I’ve seen his feelings for you all the way through and know all about it ……”
“You know exactly? You’re not us how would you know exactly?”

“Don’t be impulsive!” Elena Bush threatened, glaring at her.
Jacqueline snorted softly, almost thinking she had heard wrong, “Do you think you can threaten me now? Or do you think …… you have the capital on your hands to make me compromise?”
The little woman gritted a mouthful of silver teeth and pursed her pink lips tightly without speaking.
Jacqueline patted the top of her head kindly, “Elena Bush, you remember, you are in my hands now, and it is up to me to decide what should be done, not you, understand?”

Elena Bush gave her the same grin, “Aren’t you afraid I’ll just die? If I die, you won’t have any leverage to threaten Logan Brown!”
“NONONO, you would never, from what I know about you, you still have Logan Brown in your heart and your child, how could you possibly cut your life short that easily?”
“But if my death could give them a lifetime of peace, what would I have to give up?”
There was suddenly a look of determination in Elena Bush’s eyes that was impossible to ignore, and Jacqueline saw it so clearly that she couldn’t help but shiver along with it.
When Jacqueline realised that she had almost been frightened by her, she immediately raised her hand and grabbed her chin with a grim look on her face, “Don’t play tricks on me! You better behave yourself or I won’t take it easy on you!”
Elena Bush met her annoyed eyes and curled them slightly, “Then show me, are you trying to kill me?”
“Don’t try to provoke me, I’m not going to fall for it, I’ve already got a plan for what to do and I’m not going to change my mind just because you say so!”
With that, she shrugged her off and Elena Bush braced herself with both hands in time.
She raised her lips and smiled, “Jacqueline, you must have had an accomplice in doing this, right? Tell me, who helped you? Or perhaps, who saved you?”
She didn’t believe it, how could she be alive, and how could she have another large sum of money, let alone appear as someone else, if she didn’t have someone on her side.
I don’t know if she was trying to remind herself that her daughter’s death had something to do with her or if she was trying to make sure she didn’t forget the hate that was involved!
Jacqueline stood up and lowered her eyes, “That would not be something you should know, besides, you have so many enemies, I’m afraid …… can’t imagine who they are?”
Elena Bush stared at the ground for a long moment before a name spat out of her pink lips unawares, “Emma Bush?”
“You ……”
Jacqueline looked over at her in surprise, a flash of uncertainty tinting the bottom of her eyes, wondering where she had given it away, let alone remembering if what she had said had revealed Emma Bush’s name.
“What, are you wondering why I know?”
“Emma Bush has long since gone mad and can’t even walk, so how could you suspect her? Nor should it make sense ……”
“You’re wrong!” Elena Bush hooked her lips and her tone was harsh, “Even you are still alive, so how can she possibly stop? And so what if you can’t walk, hasn’t Logan Brown been crippled for three years now? In those three years, how has he ever been half pinned down by you!”
