The emotions were running high.
Luna held her hand, gesturing for her to sit down. “You should be happy, this isn’t about you.”
“I can’t be happy. Can we just take someone’s life so easily for the sake of profit?” She quickly realized her outburst and apologized, “I’m sorry…”
Luna smiled, unfazed. “I know you can’t stomach the cruelty of people’s hearts, but I’ve seen more than you.”
That’s why she remained composed.
“Now we have a suspect. Once we find the evidence, your innocence will be proven.”
As Luna finished speaking, Freya’s phone rang.
She glanced at it.
Her expression remained calm.
But a cold sneer escaped her throat.
The dean’s son had filed a complaint against her again.
She knew she would receive another court summons, without fail!
She sat down, calming herself down.
Now all she had to do was wait for Elijah’s results.
Tyler had identified the suspect.
It was a nurse from the hospital, the one who had handed water to the dean.
Soon after, the dean had fallen into a coma and died despite efforts to save him.
Elijah investigated.

Evan and his men intercepted the nurse who was about to leave the country!
“Come with me.”
The nurse held tightly onto her luggage and asked warily, “Who are you?”
Evan signaled his men to take action.
“What are you doing? You can’t just grab people like this in broad daylight, it’s illegal!” The nurse struggled and protested loudly!
Drawing attention from onlookers.
Evan explained, “We are the police, she has broken the law.”
But the nurse didn’t believe him.
“If you are the police, show me your credentials!” The nurse demanded.
Evan remained calm, “Don’t worry, I’ll show you.”
The nurse was forcefully dragged out of the airport and shoved into a car.
Now, she felt fear creeping in.
“Who, who are you? Why are you arresting me?”
Evan looked at her coldly, “You have no idea why we are arresting you? Are you so keen to run away because you have something to hide?”
“I’m just going abroad for vacation. Who says I can’t travel abroad?” The nurse remained defiant.
Evan pulled out a bank transfer record, “Then who sent you this money?”
The nurse continued to argue, “It was transferred by my parents, is that not allowed?”
Evan was taken aback by the nurse’s quick wit and couldn’t help but laugh, “Okay, keep denying it!”
His expression turned serious, “You only cry when you see the coffin!”
The nurse tried to play it cool, “Um, sir, please let me go. I’m young and naive…”
“Who are you calling sir?” Evan raised an eyebrow, “Am I that old?”
“Not old at all.” The nurse awkwardly apologized, “Sir, please let me go…”
Evan scoffed, “Why don’t you call me daddy? Calling me sir won’t set you free.”
The nurse blushed.
Evan’s expression turned ominous, “Be honest, stop talking nonsense. Confess, and you might walk away unscathed. If you keep denying everything, I promise you won’t even keep your body intact.”
The nurse shivered, lips sealed, refusing to speak!
“I can find you. You should know that I have a lot of evidence. Think carefully, continue to deny or confess.”
The car came to a stop.
Evan dragged the nurse out of the car and threw her to the ground!
The nurse trembled, afraid to say a word.
Evan declared, “The person is here, it’s her.”
The nurse looked up.
And saw a group of people gathered around her!
She immediately collapsed in fear!
