In a soft voice, Luna said, “It’s Leroy.”
He is in their team.
If they were seen buying a new bed right after getting married, it would surely stir up gossip.
After all, they bought a new bed when they got married.
Not long after their wedding, they are buying another one.
Isn’t that strange?
If someone sees them, they would surely gossip.
Or ask, why are they buying a bed?
How would they answer then?
Tyler nodded repeatedly.
Despite his efficiency at work, in life, he can be a bit silly!
They hid behind the cabinets.
After a while, they felt their colleague had left and came out.
They continued to browse.
Soon, they picked one out.
Placed the order.
As they were about to leave, someone called out to them, “Is that Tyler?”
Luna, “…”
Were they seen, or not?
Tyler asked Luna, “Should I turn around?”
Luna, “…”
She was at a loss for words!
Usually, everyone knows him in the team, right?
If he doesn’t turn around, would people not recognize him?
He’s smart when solving cases!
Why is he acting so silly now?
Tyler said, “You said being seen is not good, right? I’ll pretend not to hear and let’s go!”
He pulled Luna along.
Actually, at that moment, he could have responded.
Their bed was already chosen.
This isn’t even the bed section.
They could have just said, they’re looking for some furniture.
Oh…
This situation is so awkward!
They walked out of the furniture store.
Leroy seemed to be following them out.
Tyler whispered, “Let’s not go to the car, let him go first.”
Luna nodded.
They walked in the opposite direction.
Leroy still thought that figure looked like Tyler.
But it seemed not to be him.
He didn’t even turn his head.
Maybe he was mistaken, he continued walking.
Tyler felt him leave and secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Watching Tyler’s silly appearance, Luna couldn’t help but laugh.
“Why are you laughing?” Tyler asked.
She adjusted her expression, “Nothing.”
After a moment, he said, “Let’s go back.”
Luna agreed, and as they returned to the car, Leroy managed to appear out of nowhere, looking at Tyler, “Tyler, that was you, right?”
Tyler raised an eyebrow, “Where did you come from?”
“I was here to buy a bookshelf, saw you, called you, but you ignored me. I thought I got it wrong. As I was leaving in my car, I saw your car and waited there for a while,” Leroy explained.
“What’s wrong with you? Why wait for me? Got nothing else to do?” Tyler glared at him.
Making him stare at him inexplicably!
“I just wanted to make sure it was you. Besides, coming to a furniture store is normal, right! Why hide?” Leroy shrugged.
In his mind, what was Tyler hiding?
“I came to buy furniture, heard you call me, and just didn’t want to acknowledge you,” Tyler opened the car door, let Luna get in, and he drove off.
Leroy, “…”
What did he do wrong?
Just greeted him, right?

Freya had been riding a horse for an hour.
Elijah told her to take a break.
“Are we staying here for the whole day? Don’t you have work? Do you have time to spend with me? If you’re busy, you can go, and I’ll go home,” Freya said after taking a sip of water.
Elijah replied, “Not busy.”
Even if he was busy, he had to take some time to be with her.
To prevent her from overthinking things alone!
“I see you’re interested in horse riding. Shall I bring you here more often in the future?” Elijah looked at her.
Just as Freya was about to respond, her phone on the table suddenly rang.
She picked it up.
The caller ID showed Dr. Culkin.
Was it news from the former dean?
Would this call bring good news or bad news?
With an anxious heart, she answered the call, “Hello.”
