Freya quickly withdrew herself from his embrace.
And she pulled Zane along, “Let’s go.”
Zane was still angry, how could he listen to Freya? He was about to refuse, but she warned him, “If you still want to know where Luna is, just behave.”
Zane immediately complied.
Adam Jackson didn’t expect to encounter Freya while eating here.
Based on her hostility towards him, he didn’t dare to approach.
But seeing her about to fall, he couldn’t help but reach out.
“Freya, I saved you, and you didn’t even say thank you before leaving like this, is this the right thing to do?”
The voice from behind clearly entered her ears, making Freya feel extremely annoyed.
Zane asked in a low voice, “Freya, isn’t he our former neighbor? Adam Jackson, right?”
“Oh, isn’t he supposed to be studying abroad? When did he come back to China? Freya, do you have any connection with him?”
Freya said coldly, “No.”
Zane clearly didn’t believe her.
If there was no connection at all, why would she dislike him so much?
There must be a reason for not liking someone.
But now he didn’t have the time to delve into Freya’s affairs.
“Just tell me the truth, where is Luna? I’m going to find her now.”
Freya stopped in her tracks and took out the check from her bag, handing it to him.
Zane was puzzled, “Why are you giving me money?”
“This is not from me, it’s from Luna.”
Now Zane was even more confused, “What do you mean?”
“Luna won’t choose you, nor will she forgive Orion. She has left, she wants to start a new life. I support her decision. Although I’m reluctant to let her go, if she continues to stay here, she will always be entangled in the past. Instead of that, it’s better to leave. This money is compensation for the trouble she caused you. I think she also did it to find some peace of mind. Please accept it.”
“No.”
“It’s impossible.” Zane shook his head, “I don’t want this bullshit compensation! How could she just leave like this?!”
He refused to believe this fact.
Suddenly, he looked up, his eyes bloodshot, “You must know where she is, right?”
Freya shook her head, “She didn’t even tell me. She was afraid that I couldn’t keep it, she really made up her mind.”
Zane looked lost and desolate, “She really left.”
“Freya, did she make such a decisive decision because she regained her memory?”
Freya nodded, “Yes.”
Zane blamed himself, “I should have stayed by her side when I felt something was off, I shouldn’t have let her go… ”
“Zane, calm down. If she wants to leave, it’s useless for you to guard her. Luna likes mature and stable people. Don’t give up on yourself, strive to become excellent. Only then, when you meet her again, can you make her fall in love with you!” Freya encouraged him.
Zane asked, “If I become excellent, will she fall in love with me?”
Freya replied, “Yes.”
“Become excellent?” Zane murdered.
“I have to become excellent?” he repeated.
He seemed to be in a daze.
Freya was afraid he would do something reckless, “Come home with me…”
“No.” He pushed away Freya’s hand.
“I need to be alone.” He said and ran out.
Freya sighed deeply; she believed that Zane needed to figure this out for himself.
What others said was useless.
She got into the car, and the driver drove away.
The car was driving smoothly, and she lazily leaned back, pressing her temples and closed her eyes to rest.
The skilled driver suddenly hit the brakes.
Freya was caught off guard, her body leaned forward heavily, and her forehead hit the front seat.
She covered her forehead, “What happened?”
“Madam, take a look.”
Freya followed the driver’s direction and looked.
Then her eyes widened, and the next second, she got off the car and rushed down.
