Orion’s eyes were not blind. He could clearly see the hatred in Chelsea Ramirez’s eyes. He couldn’t help but laugh, “Since you’re so unwilling, why did you come again?”
“You have power and influence, if I don’t come, I’ll lose my job. Do you think I’m willing to serve an arrogant man like you?” Chelsea Ramirez had no good impression of him.
Orion furrowed his brows, “How did I become arrogant again?”
“You used your position to pressure the manager to make things difficult for me, isn’t that arrogance?” Chelsea Ramirez had a point.
Orion couldn’t argue because everything she said was true. He spoke sincerely, “I apologize again, I didn’t mean it that day.”
“Well, I forgive you, so can I leave now?” Chelsea Ramirez smirked.
Orion sighed and rubbed his temples. It was understandable that she would reject him. After all, they had only met twice. Orion didn’t want to chase after her too eagerly, so he nodded, “Alright, you can go.”
Chelsea Ramirez walked away briskly. But when she reached the door, she stopped. Orion thought she had changed her mind. He couldn’t help but smile.
“We can be friends…”
“I actually wanted to ask if I won’t be fired?” Chelsea Ramirez asked.
Orion’s smile froze on his face. It was a bit awkward. Seeing that Orion didn’t respond, Chelsea Ramirez reminded him, “Mr Russo, you won’t go complain to the manager, will you?”
Orion snapped out of his daze and shook his head, “No.”
Chelsea Ramirez walked out of the door.
Orion did not think she was pretending not to know him, yet she had a face the same as Luna’s. That gave Orion a feeling of when he first met Luna. But their personalities were a bit different.
Orion wouldn’t give up, so he picked up his fork and ate his meal slowly. He ate alone for over two hours. After finishing his meal, he went for a walk outside. It was nice to appreciate the beautiful view of the sea. So, he spent the whole evening doing this. Waiting for Chelsea Ramirez to finish work.
He quietly followed her. Chelsea Ramirez lived in a beautiful little village not far from the coastline. It was called a village, but every house was a small villa. Some even turned them into guest houses, so the village was always bustling with people. Chelsea Ramirez’s house was in a good location, and they ran a guest house as well. Orion stood at the door, looking at the sign hanging on the small villa. He took out his phone and found this guest house on a certain app.
It was probably the low season now, so there were vacant rooms. He quickly made a reservation. After wandering around outside for a while, he walked over. As soon as he entered, someone greeted him. It was an older woman, but she was dressed neatly. Orion showed her his reservation record. The woman immediately welcomed him with a smile, “Mr Russo, right?”
Orion nodded.
The woman registered him at the front desk, then said, “Follow me, I’ll take you to your room.” She walked ahead.
The room was on the second floor. It was clean and had a unique decoration. The room wasn’t big, but the layout and decoration were quite nice. Orion nodded, indicating his satisfaction.
“Rest well!” After saying that, the woman left.
Orion wasn’t in a hurry to ask about Chelsea Ramirez’s whereabouts. He settled in first. But as soon as he closed the door, there was another knock. Orion opened the door and saw Chelsea Ramirez. She stood at the door, holding a white towel in her hand.
“It’s you?” Chelsea Ramirez frowned. “Hey, you’re not following me to my house, are you?”
Orion shook his head.
Chelsea Ramirez felt that it was too coincidental. But without any evidence, and considering that he was a guest, she could only suppress her anger and walked in, putting the towel in the bathroom. “My mom forgot to bring in the hand towel, I’ll put it in now. If you need anything, you can call the front desk.”
With that, she walked out.
“Wait.” Orion called out to her.
