I was exceptionally horny that I didn’t mind whatever happened to me but the sharp teeth that felt like a blade on my skin startled the shit out of me. I reacted instantly and looked up at Gabriel’s now red eyes and two long canines out. I staggered for a moment and opened my mouth to scream but he was quick to clamp my mouth shut. He grabbed my hand without saying anything and led me out of his mansion-house and into his car. What do you think you’re doing Mr Gabriel. I cleared my throat…. I mean Gabriel. I whispered. I saw a smile appearing on his well shaped bearded face. What is so funny. I asked, my cheeks flushed. Nothing. he replied quickly.
I’d been blushing all the time we’d been on the road but my blushing disappeared once I connected my gaze with a familiar face through the rear view mirror, sitting comfortably in the back seat, eyeing me consciously. I saucer widened the moment I remembered who she was. She’s that skinny girl I saw in the motel room where I was with Jayden who didn’t believe me. Is something wrong? Gabriel asked but his voice felt so far from my ears. I couldn’t bring myself to respond to his question because of the shock.

I remained motionless , taking in her words. Do you mean to say that you’re dead… and… became a ghost? Am I talking to a ghost right now? She nodded.
I stumbled backwards and landed my ass onto the toilet sheet.
Don’t freak out Ms catriona. I’m not a bad ghost. If I was a bad ghost I would’ve just possessed you the moment I knew you could see me and do whatever I wanted to do without warning you. So I would like to request you to please save my mom. She said the same words repeatedly. I’m super scared of the uncanny ghost before me but I took myself back to what I’ve gone through in my life and the most terrifying part that I’ll never forget was losing my babies. And of course finding out that their dad is not human but a wolf… The UNORDINARY WOLF.
But still, still wolves are wolves and ghosts are ghosts. Enunciating the word GHOST in my head gets my blood curdling no matter how brave I want to be, it’s just too much for a human like me. I’m sure no one would wildly be thrilled to be close or befriend a dead person.
I heaved a shaky sigh and then looked up at the ghost girl. She makes me shudder regardless of how not a bad ghost she is as she’d said. I braced myself and decided to hear out. It’s not that I’m filled with enthusiasm to do so but I just don’t want to get hurt or die.
I will hear you out. I blurted out impulsively. She didn’t mind my impulsiveness and just lit up as if she’d been given another chance to live again. Her enthusiasm died the moment Gabriel shoved the door inside with that intense expression on his handsome face whenever he saw me scared. He looked around the toilet room intensely and then at me.
What happened, pumpkin? Are you alright? He asked. I don’t know where the braveness I had in me disappeared because I started crying. It’s you again. You came again to save me. I murmured. I rose myself from the toilet seat but my legs gave up on me….
Gabriel held me in his manly strong hands before I could land down. He secured me into a comforting hug.
I don’t know what made you terrified like this but I am always near to get you out of that fear. He exclaimed. Let’s get you in the car. I don’t like the smell of this place.
No please, don’t leave. We’re not done talking, Ms Catriona. The ghost girl pleaded.
Please stop. You’re creeping me out. I whispered to her with my face buried in Gabriel’s huge body. Gabriel took off his leather jacket and put it around me and lifted me into his arms. I didn’t protest and just tightened my hands around his neck. No, you can’t take her yet. She has to save my mom first. Please. She cried out. I peeked at her. She was trying to block Gabriel from going but she kept passing through him….
We arrived at My mom’s hometown but I had to use foot to reach my grandmother’s house because of the narrow roads. I got out of the car and Gabriel followed. I was very grateful that he made me feel better. The night was breezy with a half moon above us. I closed my eyes and thought about how I’m going to be welcomed at my grandmother’s house. I know for a fact that they dislike me. But that’s okay. I will tolerate anything as long as I get what I want from them.
