I darted my eyes around not believing what I was seeing. Passengers were freaking out, as well as the cabin attendants. And others had passed out. No one was helping. There were like five passengers who were recording the whole scenario with their shaky hands. I myself was shaking inside but i didn’t let it show. At least for me I know a little bit of what a werewolf is, but I’m not an expert in this kind of shifting scenario. The wolf’s growls are so loud and terrifying. I feel sorry and sad for the parents who are trying to calm their crying childrens.
What can I do to help? I looked up at Jayden whose mind was somewhere else. I’m sure he must be thinking of what to do right now without causing any harm to the passengers, especially to the crying toddlers. His eyes and attention was fixed to the wolf. Is he communicating with it? Because the wolf stopped growling and trotted forward towards where we were standing. As soon as it started trotting, the passengers screamed terribly.
The passengers’ screams brought attention to the other passengers from both first and business class. Whoever comes to the economy, runs back scared without hesitating.
What is the chaos here? A familiar voice said from behind. I spun around and saw Gabriel’s confused look. He stood so tall behind me, his eyes scanning around the passengers. Of course he can’t see me because of my height. Me standing in the middle of these heights is something else I can’t put in words. Gabriel strolled, passed me and stood in front of Jayden. I felt something in my heart when he ignored me. “Didn’t he see me?” I’m i invisible to him because of my height? I questioned myself, feeling a little hurt.
Catriona, snap it and pull yourself together. Why are you acting like a crazy woman because of this…. “Aren’t you the one that said you don’t want to ever see him again? Now why are you hurting, because he didn’t notice you, or ignored you?” I self- talked.
“Be quiet”, Gabriel hollered in a deep voice, potentially startling me that I leaped on Jayden and gripped onto his shirt.
All passengers went silent and those who were recording their phones dropped out of their hands. Jayden as he is, didn’t even flinch, his focus was still on the wolf.
If you keep on screaming like rats this wolf will kill each and everyone here. He said and the kids who were quiet started crying again in fear. Gabriel looked down at the wolf and clenched his jaws. “Now look what you did you idiot,” now the entire world is going to know about us. I’m going to kill you myself. He said to the wolf. Jayden gave him a death glare which he returned.
I stepped forward to go to the crying kids to see how I can help them but Jayden blocked me using his hand without even looking at me.
Stay close to me, don’t go anywhere. He said. Why would I do that? Can’t you see that those kids are very scared? I crooked down and passed under his hand. He stopped me again by grabbing the back of my shirt. “Jayden, don’t be a dick and let me help them in a way that I can. Mind your tongue my love, the kids will hear you. He said. I rolled my eyes. I looked up at Gabriel who was still ignoring me as if I didn’t exist. “Why would I even care about getting his attention?”
“Call them, young girl.” A very old woman said, encroaching my thoughts.
“Are you talking to me?” I asked her, pointing at myself.
Yes, I’m talking to you. She said and Jayden pulled me to his side protectively.
If you care about your boyfriends and their people, call them for help so that they can fix this problem. If not, your boyfriends and their people will all be destroyed, FOREVER. The old woman said. What boyfriends are you talking about? I have one boyfriend. I said to her as I awkwardly laughed. I don’t understand what you’re talking about. Are you sure you’re talking to me? I spun around to see if there is someone else she’s talking to but there was none behind me.
I’m talking about you Ms. Catriona Havers, isn’t that your name?
How… How did you know my name? I asked her anxiously. That’s not important now, just call them out for help. She said, “Who are they, that you’re talking about?”
The old woman stepped closer to me and whispered in my ears…

I repeated what she told me. “Why did I even do that? It’s stupid and childish. But my head became heavy along with my eyes. I saw myself raising up my hands in the air as my lips moved as if I’m talking. I’m my own body but I feel like I am two bodies. I feel like my body has been paralyzed, and the other one is active. My active body waved a hand swiftly and everything around me froze abruptly.
All the passengers froze in one place, except for Jayden, Gabriel and this old woman. I saw myself talking to both Jayden and Gabriel but I could not hear what I was telling both of them. Guessing from the expression on both their faces, it looks like whatever I said to them, they didn’t like it. The wolf shifted back to his human form and went somewhere with Gabriel. I started having a headache and felt my vision blurring.

I opened my eyes and found myself back in our seats. Jayden was on his laptop and everyone was minding their business. The situation looks calm. What’s happening? Was I dreaming?
You’re awake? Jayden asked. What happened? What happened to that wolf man? I unbuckled the belt and barreled over to the economy class. Sliding the curtain divider, I was shocked when I saw the calmness of the passengers as if nothing had happened. I trailed my eyes around and saw that old woman that whispered into my ears, but the wolf man was not there. What’s going on?
Ms. You need to go back in your seat and buckle the seat belt because the plane is about to land. The flight attendant said.
“Excuse me, what?”
Jayden followed me up and gently dragged me back to our seats. Would you mind telling me what’s going on? I’ll tell you what happened when we arrived at the hotel. He said.
The plane landed and we all disembarked and boarded the bus that took us into the main airport building. We passed through the immigration and exited the airport.
There was a car that was waiting for Jayden or us. I sat inside and Jayden followed. As soon as he sat, the door car from my left was opened and Gabriel entered. Now we can leave, he said. I gave him a stun look.
Hello pumpkin! I missed you. Did Jayden tell you that where we’re going is dangerous? He asked.
You, “what are you doing here? Jayden asked him tensed. I thought you knew why? Don’t you? Should I remind you? Gabriel said to Jayden.
That doesn’t mean that you have to emerge in the same car I’m using with my mate. Jayden hissed. She’s my Mate too, and as I told you before, I’m not going to give up on her no matter what. Gabriel hissed back.
Sitting between these two vigorous men with the tension coming out of them makes me uneasy. They look like they’re about to kill each other.
If any of you can’t tell me what’s going on, please swallow the grudge or whatever you have on each other so that we ride whenever we’re going in peace. I told them feeling my insides shaking that includes my racing heart.
They both went silent but I can still feel the tension between them flaring inside the car. I cleared my throat as I looked up at Jayden.
“What is it baby?” He asked.
About what happened in the plane, I’m sure I was not dreaming, everything I saw or remembered actually happened. Right? I want to know what happened next, how did you solve that chaos, for the passengers to act like nothing scary happened? The last thing I remember was that old woman whispering in my ears. He exchanged a look with Gabriel.
Aren’t you going to tell her? Gabriel asked him. “Tell me what? They both looked at me surprised.
“Pumpkin, you heard me?” Gabriel asked. I told you not to call me pumpkin. I grumbled. Jayden pulled me to him into a deep kiss catching me off guard. You’re my woman Catriona, only mine. He said through a mindlink. Within a second, I was pulled back again into another deep kiss by Gabriel.
