Chapter 133

Book:Call me Alpha Published:2024-6-4

I nodded. We’re ahead in numbers. And this is war, some will be wounded or die. But that’s how life of a werewolf works.
A few knock on the door interrupted us. Aiden nodded at me which indicates that I’ll let in whoever it is.
Zynia starts ourside and Zeke was standing behind him when I opened the door.
“May we speak with Alpha Aiden?” Zynia said.
‘Let them in.’ Aiden permits inside my head so I widened the door and let them both enter the office.
“You may sit.” Aiden said.
Zynia sat on a chair but Zeke kept standing so I stood where I could see the three of them.
“I’m sorry to interrupt but I can tell that you’ll start a war with Ravenous pack. Am I right, Alpha Aiden?” Zynia started.
Aiden knotted his forehead but nodded his head. “I will.” he said shortly.
“Well, I hope we could help. My son have some information that may be of use, Alpha Aiden.”
I looked at Zeke and he rolled his eyes, looking bored and irritated. I knew he hates how his mother still respect packs and such after what she had been through.
Aiden looked at Zeke, too. Watching him, no, waiting for him to speak. His eyes conveys that he can’t waste time to fool around with the rogue and I can tell that Zeke felt that because his jaw clenched, and he stood straight.
“If you will start a war, go and ask for help with other packs because you are outnumbered.”
My jaw dropped from what he said. I thought he’ll add some helpful data but I think he is spouting nonsense that I almost laugh.
I thought Aiden will shut him off but he kept watching Zeke with a serious face. He was attentive, listening, looking forward for what he will hear next.
Does he consider Zeke’s words?
As if the rogue understood that Aiden wanted to hear him out, he looked alive and engrossed.
“How many of yours will fight?”
Aiden looked at me before answering, “Five hundred experienced shifters.” he answered with a sigh as he leaned on his chair.
Zeke folded his arms on his chest. “And how many do you think Elon has?”
“He have two-hundred wolves, only half of it are experienced.” I butt in.
“Well, your data was outdated.” Zeke slumped himself on a chair. “It’s been a long time since Elon started recruiting rogues. Words spread that he was waiting for the right moment to attack your pack.”
My jaw dropped from what I heard. How did that-Is that even true?
Aiden doesn’t seem shock at all but I saw his knuckles whitened as his hand formed a fist.
One thing I knew about Aiden, he’s scarier once he kept quiet than snapping at us.
“That’s impossible. We have watchers around Ravenous pack, there was no report about that.” I said, Aiden on the other hand closed his eyes and inhaled.
“Ravenous is the land nearest to the East region where the Valley of Rogues are, Beta. He didn’t take the wolves to his pack, of course. He gave aid, food and everything the rogues asked just so they will take his side when he decides to attack your pack. They stayed in the Valley, but they are with him. Not just to return the favor but, well, you know us, rogues. We love the fight. They’ll join in for the fun.”
Oh, fu*cking hell.
“How many?” Aiden’s Alpha voice roared in the room though he spoke with a low voice. That gave me a shiver.
“Five-hundred rogues from the Valley.” Zeke shrugged.
“Oh, we could still continue the fight, Aiden. Ours are experienced, best at fighting-”
“And three-hundred rogues from inside the North region. I think Elon also have the alliance of some rogues from the South region though I don’t know how far he’d travelled.” Zeke cut me off and my jaw almost dropped on the floor.
What the fu*cking hell!
That’s over a thousand wolves. More, even!
“How true are these information, Zeke?” I asked again because Aiden kept zoning out, thoughts are probably running on his head, messing with it even more.
“I’m a rogue. We don’t need to hide secrets from each other, dog, we don’t have packs to uphold.”
I looked at Aiden but he kept immobile on his seat. “Aiden…” I started in a wary tone and he opened his eyes before exhaling. Snapping out of his thoughts.
Oh fu*ck, I can only imagine what’s going on with his head.
“I need to speak with the Alphas. Nick, call Jacob, David and Aros.” he ordered to me. He was referring to the three other wolf pack of the North under alliance with Prime pack.
Alpha Jacob of Shadow pack, Alpha David of Regal pack and Alpha Aros of Trivian pack.
I nodded but still spoke what I needed to say. “Aiden, it will took at least five days before their arrival.” I reminded him.
‘Take a hold of his wolf for those days or else you’ll lose this battle.’ I said through our mind-link.
I need to remind him so he could.
“I fu*cking know, Nick.” he snarled. “Now arrange the conference, there’s no time to waste.”
Ashira’s POV
“Let go of me, you pig!”
I tried my best to resist the worst Alpha I’ve ever known who’s standing right in front of me.
I was fu*cking kidnapped by him! And luck was not on my side because he knew I’m a stealer! He’s a fu*cking mate-less wolf!
“Such beauty.” he tried to caress my face. “I never thought I’ll feel this alive again.” he whispered as he wiped the hairs off my face.
I was trembling, afraid, anxious. This is the first time I encountered a mate-less wolf who actually wants me. Who’s actually in love with the thought of the mate bond! Titus didn’t, his love for his mate is greater but this pig is surely thirsty for the bond!
I moved back even though the wall is already flat on my back. I’m cornered without nowhere to go.
He made me drink the same potion Zeke had given me before. I felt weak and hopeless and my tears had dried up from crying.
I called for Aiden countless times, asking for help, longing for him but I knew I won’t be heard. I waited for an hour then two, waiting for the potion’s effect to leave my system but it didn’t happen. I don’t know if the potion is still on my body or what.
I still can’t reach through Aiden’s portal and I don’t fu*cking know if I’m in a wolf-proof room which forbid me to communicate with him!
“I’ve been looking for your kind. A stealer. The gifts for someone like me, the bearer of my child. The future of my pack.”
