There are tables anywhere and one long table was placed in front where we will be seated.
Aiden is in the middle and I was seated on his left while Nick was on his right. On my left is where Seth is and beside him is Ava. There’s only one chair beside Nick which I think is for his mate that’s yet to come.
Our table is for the high ranks as it should be. Even though Ava has no position in the pack, she is still Seth’s mate which will always make a place for her beside him.
The table beside us has five chairs which are the council’s table.
We started eating and I almost drooled with how the foods looked delicious. I haven’t eaten since this morning.
Everywhere has wolves dancing, eating, and drinking. It looks so lively and I loved how Aiden stopped the ancient way of helping traditions. The last event I had here which was the mapping ball is also modernized. My old pack hugs the traditional way of healing ceremonies like this. It always bore me when I’m attending it so Lucy and I always leave early. But in Aiden’s pack, it’s spirited and energetic.
After eating, some are walking towards our table and greeting me with respect ad their eyes glisten with delightedness.
I’m sure that Aiden is a good leader for everyone to treat me this way. It only means that they are pleased that their Alpha’s bloodline will resume because he had found me. His pack’s Luna and his mate.
“Luna.” A guy around Aiden’s age bowed in front of me. He has light brown hair and a pale complexion.
I smiled at him and looked at Aiden when he snaked his arms around me again. Possessive. I halt myself from rolling my eyes.
I can’t believe him. He just introduces me to his pack yet he’s still possessive over me just because there’s a pretty guy in front of me. Can’t he see that the only handsome man I ever saw was him?
“My name is Jeron. Head of the watchers and trackers. It’s nice to have you.” he said, not raising his head from his bow.
“Nice to meet you, Jeron. Merry Christmas.” I said with a smile. He looked up and mirrored my smile and bowed down to Aiden before greeting us and saying goodbye.
Aiden snorted once Jeron was gone and leaned on his chair.
“What?” I asked, smiling because I knew why he’s behaving this way.
“I hate how he looked at what’s mine.” he said and looked away. I chuckled, leaning myself closer to him.
“You’re so jealous.” I whispered the words so only he will hear me.
He snorted again and I half laughed. “I have every right to.”
I was about to speak when Seth suddenly popped on my head.
‘You should go. The wolves at the border are shifting duties.’
I was so engrossed with what’s happening that I almost forgot about that. It’s good that Seth has my back. I can’t imagine what might happen only I know my abnormality.
I think of what to do so we can go back to the ancestral and found the best way for my escape.
I leaned more to Aiden and lightly pressed my lips on his ears. Feeling how he stiffened from what I had done.
“I want to receive my second gift now.” I whispered seductively on his ears that made a growl escaped his throat.
I looked at him and I saw how his eyes turned a shade darker. Damn, I’m drowning from his gaze.
This is the time that I realized both of us are waiting for this moment. What we’ve been longing to have.
He smirked at me and gripped my waist tight. He whispered something to Nick and I looked at Seth, giving him the look.
Aiden stood up, making me stand with him.
“We’ll head to the ancestral.” he said to Seth and Ava.
“Now?” Ava complained but Seth put his hand on hers instantly before whispering something in her ears.
“Ohhhkay!” she grinned at me like she meant something. Oh, God. I can only wonder what Seth told her.
We left the pack building and ride the truck. Aiden was driving and I sat next to him.
“Don’t forget your promise.” he said with a smirk and I grinned back at him.
I know that he meant he I won’t complain when he loses his cool later. I imagined what he might have to do to me and that’s enough to make me wet from anticipation.
“Your arousal is seducing me, Ashira. Don’t make me pull over somewhere and fu*ck you inside this car.” he said in a low growl.
My folds quiver from the thought. He left a wild image on my head and I can’t stop my desire to just ask him to pull over and do me here. Right now.
I didn’t say anything because I can feel that my breath has left me since leaving the Hall.
He stepped on the gas, making our ride home faster than it should be.
“Come here.” he said as he opened my car door. He used his inhuman speed with his every move. I loved how this affects him. He’s excited, no, his arousal was on the edge!
He held my waist tight as we walked through the front door. I won’t be surprised if he’ll pin me on the wall and start devouring my lips at any moment. I can feel how he’s losing his control. He wanted me now and I can imagine what he might do to me next.

He opened the door hastily, making the poor door banged hard on the wall. He growled as his patience grew thin with how far our room is seemed to be farther.
At last, his well-kept restraint left his body before even reaching the stairs.
He turned me and I felt the cold walls pressed on my back. He looked at me with lustful eyes for a second before smashing his lips on mine, making me moan when our lips touched.
His moves are impatient. My dress almost ripped from how hard he’s gripping my waist.
“Aiden…” I moaned when his lips hungrily trailed down on my neck, kissing the claim that made me arch my back from the delicious sensation it sent.
His hand cupped my breast as it fits perfectly on his large palm while the other went on my back, pressing me close to him as he continues to kiss my neck.
My eyes are closed, savoring every kiss and touch with his warmth. He pulled my dress up until his hand can feel the skin on my legs, groping on it as it trailed up.
I expect another wave of pleasure to welcome me but he stopped before his fingers even reached my folds.
I looked him in the eyes as he looked at the front door.
It took me a while before realizing that someone is coming. I can hear the engine of a car and it’s driving fast.
Aiden’s jaw tightened and his eyes sharpened. Whoever is coming did it at the wrong time.
“Who was it?” I asked. I can’t use my sense of smell as clear as him. Also, I still linger with the arousal and pleasure he had made me feel.
He inhaled roughly and growl. ” It’s Nick.” he looked at me and his jaw tensed again as he trailed his eyes on my face down to my body. His look is telling me that he can’t leave me here while killing his beta. Well, Nick just came with a death wish.
“Go upstairs. I’ll talk to him for a while. I already told him I’ll block my portals tonight so this must be important.”
