” Deal” She squeaked after squeezing her fist so much she drew blood from her palm. She would do it, she would follow his conditions with great loyalty but she wouldn’t be able to promise him that there won’t be punishments for his actions later.
” Good girl,” He said happily brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. She couldn’t help the disgust that crawled over her body at the contact of his hands on her face. He leaned in for a kiss but she moved her head out of the way. He laughed.
” I will leave you to your thoughts. After all, you will soon be all over me once we share the soul potion” He said brushing his fingers on her cheeks. She wished he would just remove his filthy hands from her body.
Grabbing her hands, he dragged her towards the pack house.
” Let me go!” She yelled at him when her foot came in contact with a sharp stone, even her boot couldn’t prevent the stone from penetrating her skin. It hurt but she ignored the pain giving him a death glare that could end his life instantly if looks could kill. ” I can walk by myself”
” No, we are going to hold hands and pretend like the loving couple we are and go to the Alpha’s office to tell him we are getting Married,” He said holding her wrist tighter so much it hurt.
” How can we get married in three days when I don’t even have a dress?” She hissed ignoring the pain from her wrist, the moon goddess would not show him mercy when her mate got his hand on him for treating her this way.
” I will cut off his hands before Killing him” Darryl’s voice spoke out loud in her mind. She was both shocked and confused at the sudden intrusion, she wondered if she had started hearing things or if her mind was playing tricks on her.
” Drinking my blood gave me access to your mind, we can communicate here every time, and don’t worry three days is more than enough for me to March over this pack with my soldiers. I will make them kneel for treating you like this” Darryl said and that comforted her a little bit. She was glad a part of him was still with her.
” You will be shocked at how fast I can get things done” Howard’s cocky voice brought her back to reality. She pretended to listen to him but in a real sense, she was just happy that she had Darryl’s presence in her mind.
” What about Decanal? If you march in three days, my brother will only blackmail us with my wolf” Diana sent her thoughts to him while drowning out Howard’s presence away from her line of thoughts.
” Then you have three days to find your wolf,” He said and she sighed, she was already on that and she hoped that Brittany wouldn’t betray her.
With Darryl’s voice in her mind, she was able to endure the pain coming from her wrist from where Howard was holding her too tightly as he led the way to her brother’s office.
Leonard was as usual buried in his paperwork like Decanal had told her earlier. His brightened up as the door opened to reveal his sister and his Beta holding hands as they both entered his office with smoke on their faces. Diana’s smile was fake though.
” Nice to see both of you getting along with each other again,” He said with a full smile looking at their enjoined hands. They both grinned at him, Diana even went as far as giggling. He was glad that his sister already let go of her grudge and reunited with Howard as she should have done without having to stress him with moving her to the pack house.
” Thank you, Alpha. My mate and I would like to move back to our home. We will continue the wedding at the crescent ball as planned” Howard announced to his Alpha grinning from ear to ear. Leonard couldn’t help the smile on his face, he couldn’t believe his dream was coming true. His sister will finally be mated to the man he chose for her, not that wretched creature that ruined their family in the past.
” Really?” Leonard’s face couldn’t get brighter at the news.
” Yes Alpha” Diana mumbled not too thrilled about the news but her foolish brother didn’t even notice a thing.
” You don’t know how happy this news made me. Congratulations to you too, I’ll have the people in charge of crescent ball decorations infuse a wedding theme in the decorations. Brittany will help you with the dress fittings as planned. I’m so happy with this” Leonard said, his good eyes don’t fail to display his happy reactions. He doesn’t even doubt anything, he and earlier asked Howard to do everything to convince Diana to forgive him and he was glad his Beta succeeded. By the time she regains her memory, She will have drank the soul potion that would bind her to Howard forever. She may hate him in the future but she wouldn’t be able to do anything because she would be under Howard’s control.
Giving Howard a secret thumbs up, he dismissed them from his office after hugging the both of them. He had been so engrossed in his paperwork that he didn’t notice that when Brittany came to inform him about the slacking omegas earlier, she took something out of the third row of his bookshelf. And he still won’t even notice it anytime soon because he was too engrossed in the happiness of the news that Howard and Diana brought to him. He just continued his work after calling the person in charge of the decorations.
Outside his office, Diana pried Howard’s hands from her wrist forcefully with an annoyed hiss. He grabbed her wrist again ignoring her struggles. He chuckled before saying to her ” We don’t want brother dearest to know about your little secret do we?”
” I will never love you” She spat trying to free her hands from his hold again but he held her tighter eliciting a painful hiss from her lips.
” Oh come on, you won’t be saying that after drinking the soul potion my dear.”
” In his dreams” Both Darryl and Decanal echoed in her mind and she smirked slightly. She just needs to get her wolf out and all of this will be over.
Leading the way to their house, he dragged an unwilling Diana and threw her against the couch once they entered the living room. The once familiar house felt like a prison made from scorching hell to Diana and she could almost taste her misery and distaste at the innocent building. She couldn’t believe she had wanted to mate with the disgusting in front of her in the past. The same man that planned with her brother to get rid of her mate, she blamed Decanal for not killing him when she had the chance.
” From this moment, you will not take a step out of this house until our wedding Eve where you will be required to come to the pack house for a mini wedding even party. No one except Brittany and I is allowed to see you and I’m only allowing her because she will be helping you with your dress fitting tomorrow. I can’t risk you running away before the wedding” He stated and she just chuckled rebelliously.
” You can’t keep me here against my will” She gritted her teeth together angrily.
” trust me it’s all for your benefit”
” And you think he will let this go? You and my brother will pay for your crimes. I assure you” She said with a bitter smile, he gave her a cocky smile in return.
” That’s if he can break the barrier but he can’t, why? Because you don’t remember his name”
