“Hmph.” Jane sneered, looking up and down at Katherine. “Fortunately, he chose me. If he had chosen you, I’m afraid he would be regretting it by now.”
The surrounding employees looked at each other, not knowing how to intervene. Jane had come to the company directly to make a scene with Katherine, and they didn’t want to offend either side, so they didn’t know what advice to give.

“I will educate my daughter for her actions, and it’s not for you to criticize her,” Tyler directly refuted. Since Jane’s attitude was so strong, he no longer intended to concede. “I came here today to demand an explanation. My daughter was insulted by you, grabbed by the collar. As a young girl, when has she ever suffered such humiliation?”
“Hmph.” Jane let out a cold laugh and handed over the video to Tyler. “Didn’t your daughter push me as well? Is she the only one allowed to bully others while everyone else has to tolerate it?”
Jane remained composed, showing no signs of fear, even in the face of Tyler’s considerable influence.
“You shouldn’t speak that way, young lady,” Tyler’s gaze turned fierce. “If she pushed you, there are people from my family who will deal with it, not you taking matters into your own hands.”
“I didn’t know that this city is no longer governed by reason and law, but by the Maltz family,” Jane smiled faintly, her eyes devoid of any amusement. “If you’re unhappy, you can let your daughter confront me. She’s grown up now and should handle her own affairs.”
“You won’t have a good outcome with such stubbornness,” Tyler said with a stern face, his eyes filled with anger. “I came here today to demand an explanation from you. There’s no need to beat around the bush.”
“Isn’t what I said clear enough?” Jane raised an eyebrow lightly. If it weren’t for Tyler, she wouldn’t have shown such a cooperative attitude.
From every angle, it was Katherine’s fault. Yet now they were turning things around and implying that it was her fault.

Both of them turned to look at the entrance, where Elis and Braiden walked in.
“Master.”
