We’re official! I am not a NBSB anymore and I already graduated from unrequited love! What more can I ask for?
Now I can finally say that indeed everything happens for a reason. So I am also thankful for what happened between me and Jester, because if it did not happen, my boyfriend now will not be Andrew Lopez.
I smiled again when I remembered our date last night. This is the first time that I experience such a surprise. I really felt and saw how much he loves me. Maybe I did great things in my past life because I am blessed by someone like him.
The one month vacation that my parent gave is over, though I didn’t really had a vacation.
Today is my first day at my father’s company. And because my experience is more on sales and marketing, my dad decided to put me in sales and marketing department for now. I will be the Sales and Marketing Director just like Anne’s position in Lieo’s company. Perks of being a daughter of the owner of the company, automatic I have given a managerial position.
My dad and I went to the company together, he wanted to personally introduce me to the employees there.
We went straight to his office first and called the HR manager to introduce me.
After that we started touring each department to introduce me to them. We last went to Sales and Marketing department. After I was introduced, they guide me to my new office.
I am so happy to see my new office. I long dreamed to have my own office. Dad got the design that I want for my office.
My office was in combination of green, white and rose gold colors. My wall are painted white, the curtains are in color rose gold, my table is white and my office chair(princess type) is color emerald green, it also has a sofa in color white, the pillows serves at its accent (color pink and green). Its a minimalist design. Simple yet elegant.
“Alli I will leave you here. Call me whenever you need me. Janice is here to assist you with your work.” My dad said.
I smiled at him and nodded.
“Okay dad. Thanks!” I just said.

I immediately fell on my bed when I got home from work.
Since I know very little about the company, I ask for some records and details that I need to know about our products. It’s tiring but worth it.
Even though I feel so lazy, I forced myself to take a shower. What I only want to do right now is to sleep.
I was about to go to sleep when my phone rang. Even though I am not in the move to talk to anyone but my phone keeps on ringing. I had no choice but to answer it.
“Hello?” I said in non-interested tone.
“My girlfriend seems very tired.” He said in a sweetly tone.
I immediately went out of bed and fixed myself.
“Baby!” I said.
“Wow! You calling me baby is so good in the ear. How was your day?” He said.
I giggle. I still can’t believe that I have a boyfriend now!!!
“Its very tiring but so fulfilling. Though I’m a bir sad because we didn’t meet today.” I told him.
Gosh Alli what happen to you? When did you become this cheesy?!
I heard him chuckled. “As much as I want to see you but their is an emergency in the company, so I need take care of it first.”
“Don’t worry, its okay. I understand.”
I really am okay with that. I am not really a clingy girlfriend, also I understand that he has a big responsibility in their company.
“I miss you baby.” He sweetly said.
Can I scream?! My hearts feel so happy and in love!!!
“Me too, I miss you baby.” I softly said.
I couldn’t almost recognize my voice.
“Oh before I forgot, my mom wants to meet you. Its her birthday next week and she wants you to be there.” Andrew said.
My eyes widen and I suddenly feel nervous. Will his family like me?
“Baby do you think your mom will like me?” I asked a bit anxious.
I heard him chuckled. “Don’t worry Alli I’m sure my mom will not only like you, she will love you!”

I am feeling anxious right now. It is my first time to be introduced to the family of the person I like. Not to mention that the guy is my boyfriend!!!
I am scared that I might do something that they may not like. I am scared that they will not like me for Andrew.

I was in the middle of my thought when someone knock on the door of my room.
“Ma’am Alli, Sir Andrew is here.” Our house helper said.
I took a deep breath first. “Okay. I’m going down.”
I took a final look on the mirror before I went out of my room.
I saw Drew stand up when he saw me down the stairs.
“Shall we?” He said when I reached him.
I tried to smile. Then I nodded in response.
He took my hand and helped me out.
When we reached to their home, he took my hand and squeezed it.
I looked at him. “Hey baby don’t be nervous. Everything will be perfect okay?”
“I’m scared Drew because they might not like me.” I confessed to him.
He touched my cheek. “They will love you just be yourself Alli I am sure of that.”
I took a deep breath before we decided to went inside.
When we entered I immediately saw Iya. She immediately went to me and gave me a warm hug.
“Alli! I’m glad you’re here. I’ve been waiting for you. Let’s go!” She said while pulling my hand.
Drew just followed me. While Iya introduced me to their relatives.
The party was very intimate, only family members were here. This is how Drew’s mom really celebrates her birthday. In fact, I am the only non-family member here.
They all welcome me with warmth. It lessen the nervousness that I am feeling now.
They last took me to the birthday celebrant, to Drew’s mommy.
“Aunt!” Iya called the birthday celebrant.
An elderly woman turned to us. You can’t deny that she still looks beautiful despite her age. She is with a very handsome elderly guy, he look so much like Andrew.
I smiled. So this is what Drew will look like in old age? Nothing actually change on his looks. It just that it looks more matured.
“Mom, dad I like you to meet my girlfriend, Allison Alonzo.” Andrew introduce me to his parents.
I saw Drew’s mommy and daddy look at me. I tried to smile.
“H-hello Sir and happy birthday Ma’am !” I said nervously.
I saw them smile at me. “Finally we met you.”
I was surprised when Drew’s mom suddenly hugged me.
“And stop calling us Ma’am and Sir you can just call us auntie Gwen and uncle Rome.” Drew’s mom said with a smile.
“O-okay auntie and uncle.” I said still feeling nervous.
I heard them chuckled.
“Alli stop being nervous, we don’t bite.” Uncle Rome said in a teasing tone.
I laughed there and that was the start to gradually lose my nervousness and enjoy their company.
